8 – Minotaurs are airheads

"Mmm…"

What happened? Oh yeah. Force of habit. I took my daily nap. I will admit sleeping in the middle of flying isn't the best scenario. Maybe I should develop a skill that let's me fly while I sleep. Like a sleep walker. Or should I say sleep flyer? Regardless, I fell on top of something soft. What is this warm sensation? It's so soft… and so warm…

It's like… I'm being sandwiched between two giant tits. Wait a second. I immediately jumped off the soft sensation.

"Wha!! I really was sandwiched!!"

"Ara, ara! Falling from such a high place is really dangerous, little one. Lucky for you I was passing by. You seem to be fine."

Holy shit!! I turned around and before me stood a giant. Seriously, I am not exaggerating. I am small, true, but she's giant and seriously too big. In all places, if you know what I mean. Her breast are literally airbags!!

Look, just for reference I am around 130cm tall. Lina is 170cm tall and her proportions are roughly B92/W57/H89. I can tell that much about her after fondling her so much. But this girl is without a doubt 220cm. And her sizes are probably B150/B78/H120. Speaking of Lina...

"Ayaka, are you ok?"

I was brought back to reality when Lina called out to me.

"Baka Lina, why didn't you catch me? If I was falling too fast, you could have turned off your levitation, grab me and then turn it on again. Even if I fell asleep, you could fly so why didn't you catch me?"

"Forgive me. I panicked."

"You two seem to be alright. Welcome to the Grand Crevice town."

"Thank you very much for catching me. You really are nice, miss. I thought minotaurs are a brutal race."

"Ara, ara! Who told you something like that? I can't speak for others but everyone here is quite gentle."

I sent an evil glare at Lina who immediately went stiff and small sweat drops appeared on her face.

"Because the minotaurs are a race that boast large bodies and huge physical strength, people rarely bother us. You know what they say, big animals are easygoing and there's also…"

Before I realized it her voice was getting weaker and weaker. I turned around and…

What the… just how slow is she walking? I thought because of her size, we would have to pick up the pace, but she's walking as slow as a cow. Ugh.

"Miss, we have some business here, so we're going on ahead. Thanks again for catching me!"

"Okay…"

------

This town is nuts. I am serious. Everyone here is so ditsy. I can't believe these minotaurs. Both males and females are weird. We tried asking around for the famous blacksmith, and of course, they keep talking on and on and shifting the conversation into a totally different direction. I'm laid back too, but this is ridiculous.

For a second I actually thought that maybe I should move here but that thought vanished completely. I would literally get mental fatigue living with all these airheads. Eventually, with great despair, we finally managed to find the forge of the so called famous blacksmith. But of course, things were never that easy.

"CLOSED. BE BACK SOON"

A sign with those words was hanging from the door.

"How unlucky can we get. Darn it!"

As I was throwing a tantrum, an old minotaur male sitting in a rocking chair and smoking a pipe called out to us from across the street.

"Little miss, patience is a virtue you know? But if you ask me you're wasting your time."

I turned around and pouted my cheeks.

"Mind your own business!"

"Hohoo. Ain't you a cutie. But seriously now, if you are looking for that blacksmith you might as well go home."

"What's that supposed to mean? We came a long way."

"I don't doubt that. But you see, that blacksmith, although talented, is an odd one. You see around this place we have a dungeon that acts like a mine. Various minerals and treasures can be extracted from it. Of course, it has the layout of a labyrinth, and because of the dangerous traps it was only mapped up till the forth floor. It's literally a labyrinth on multiple floors."

Okay. This sounds like a dungeon crawler game to me. What does it even have to do with our scenario? I'm here for the blacksmith, not to raid a dungeon. Do I look like Indiana Jones or something?

"All the good and rare stuff is said to be found lower. Now here's the catch. The blacksmith is very picky. If you don't present the finest materials, he won't take your request. Many adventures and famous people stopped by, but almost all of them were turned down."

Okay. Now I understand the scenario. Well that sucks. Now what are we supposed to do? Puzzles and labyrinths aren't my strong point. Actually stuff that needs memorizing and good thinking skills are my weakness. But if there really is no other way…

"Hey, sir, is the dungeon open for anyone?"

"Well, anyone is allowed to enter it. We only build the town. It's not like the dungeon belongs to us. But it's no place for a kid."

Is that loli racism I sense? Regardless, if that's out of the way, no point in wasting time here.

"Lina, we're going to that dungeon."

"Are you sure?"

"What!? Don't tell me you doubt me too. There's probably nothing in there that can even hurt me."

"Sorry. I didn't meant it like that. It's just that it seems we're going through a lot of trouble."

"I said I would get you a weapon, so I'm getting you one weather you like it or not. But… if there are spider webs and dark places… they make me restless. So you'll have to hold my hand. That's an order! You aren't allowed to leave my side for the duration of the expedition. Now follow me!"

"As you wish."

And so, I started my march towards the dungeon, with my chest proudly displayed… for like 10 seconds. After that I turned around to Lina rather embarrassed:

"Lina… I have no idea where I am going."

The reaction I got was a large laugh from Lina. Yeah. I guess I deserve it. Since I never been in here before I have no clue where this dungeon is. We only found this forge through hard questioning. I say hard because it really takes ages for a minotaur to get to the point. And looks like we will repeat that annoying process again. We need to ask directions.
