Chapter 37 Eye of the storm *
The quiet was broken by Tems again. “Tems… Tems' tummy hurt.” She held her stomach with both hands as she pouted about the pain while Berry and some of the wives led her to a separate room to lie down. The fighting had pushed her birth forward, the sudden strenuous exercise sent her into labor before she was ready. If I were stronger, I would have never let my pregnant wives fight, but if they didn’t, the entire town would have been overwhelmed. It was necessary right now, but now that Tems was giving birth, she wouldn’t be able to fight.
My brain thought up plans as I asked. “How long will this barrier last?” Berry responded immediately. “Eight hours, but if someone concentrated on destroying it, it can go down as fast as a few minutes.” I looked at my levels. I had gained quite a bit, even though I had only killed a few men. Most likely, the higher-level bandits, or the sheer number that died around me, boosted it to above twenty-five.
I asked a few follow-up questions. “Do you have any potions that can heal Leaf’s arm?” It was clear that Maxwell and Clay were uncommon rank, but they weren’t as far up as Clive was. He was either a rare rank class or a very high, uncommon class. “No, I have potions, but her injury is crippling, not a flesh wound. Only certain spells, skills, or higher rank potions can recover injuries like hers faster than having it naturally heal.”
I had read about it somewhere; healing flesh with a potion was easy enough, but it couldn’t heal broken bones. They were almost equal when she wasn’t injured, so now that Leaf was down an arm, no one could fight evenly against Clive. I offhandedly asked. “Do we have anyone with a healing skill or spell?” Berry spoke up as she returned from moving Tems into a side room. “I do, but I don’t have the mana for it, I spent it all keeping people alive earlier and on this barrier. I’m very close to passing out from mana exhaustion.”
I looked at her and could see her normally beautiful and perfect face had bags under her eyes as she slowly blinked. That was unfortunate. If I could have avoided it, I had no plans to buy this skill until I purchased everything else, it might not even work the way I thought, but it was better to try it than go into the fight any less prepared than we currently were.
“I got a skill that might work to heal it… But it’s up to Leaf if she wants to.” Thirty people were packed into the hallway of the mayor's home, so I was being a bit more shy as she asked. “Oh? What sort of skill do you have that can heal broken bones?” I avoided making eye contact as I spoke. “The skill is called… Sexual healing… It says it recovers twenty-five percent health, mana, and stamina from having sex, I’m not sure it’ll heal you though or if it’s just for me…”
Many of the wives were panicked and crying, but the sheer audacity of asking to have sex in the middle of a life-and-death struggle was enough to jar most of them out of the downward spirals they were in. The silence was finally broken as Leaf chuckled. “Fufufu. Who would have guessed I’d lose my century-old virginity on a gamble that might not work? Fine, do you have a room we can borrow Sissy?”
…
Leaf's Point of View
I felt my heart skip at the child's audaciousness because that was what he was to me: a child. I was one hundred and twenty-seven years old. I had lived long enough to adventure and retire several times over, yet this wet-behind-the-ears boy was on par with me on kills.
Albeit, you had to squint to see how, but the strength improvements from his wives, the overall increased strength of the villagers from eating the higher quality produce, the golem he had created, and the sneak attacks that put two of the stronger bandits down, it was clear something else was at play here. We shouldn’t have had a fighting chance, I should have had to flee after one or two volleys of arrows, but somehow, for some reason, we sat right on the edge of being overwhelmed instead of being outright beaten.
We stripped our bottoms off while leaving of top clothes on. Now wasn’t the time to get caught completely naked as my bow sat nearby, just in case. He apologized as he explained. “I’m sorry, this is the only way. I’d rather take my time, but we’re on a deadline, so I’ll try to do it as fast as possible.” My eyes widened at the surprise between his legs. I may have been a virgin, but I had seen penises before, just, none as big as this that wasn’t on an ogre or goliath. Would it even fit in me? I wasn’t sure, but it was necessary if we wanted to have a chance to survive.
He pushed in me slowly, I felt a pinch come from my barrier being broken. Once again, it didn’t live up to the thought of how bad it would hurt; I barely felt any pain, even with his equipment being so large, so I didn’t get what all my sisters were complaining about when they complained about the pain. He still went slow, finally bottoming out in me after a few minutes.
We hadn’t heard the telltale sound of the barrier being battered yet, so we still had time to do this right. I waited for it to start to feel good, thinking it would happen slowly, but something happened. One moment, I felt a slight tingling; the next, I was orgasming. My pussy clamped down as my brain short circuited. The bliss from the orgasm was quickly covered with pain as my bone aligned in my arm before reconnecting.
The mix of pleasure and pain almost knocked me out, but I knew I couldn’t yet. We had only been having sex for a few minutes, and the first part was the slow process of testing if I could handle him fully. Now that I had come and he was hammering me with all he had, I quickly came to another orgasm. The sharp pain in my arm dulled as if a month of healing had happened to it all at once.
I clung to him, my fingers digging into his shirt as I looked him in the eye. I was kicking myself that I had never experienced this before, but I knew that if I did try it, it wouldn’t have been nearly as good as it was right now. I orgasmed again, feeling my arm almost completely recover, and before I could come down from the previous one, the instantaneous feeling shot back through me as I orgasmed again.
Tears streamed down my face as my arm was fully recovered… But he didn’t need to know that. Until I heard the barrier start to come down, I wasn’t going to let him know that he had already healed me. What an incredible way to get healed. I wasn’t sure what we were to each other, but I knew that this had to happen again at some point. I was so focused on the pleasure that I hadn’t noticed the increase in my stats or the new skill I had just acquired.
I could only focus on us, the merging of our bodies, the way he made me feel, the way I hoped I made him feel as he finally reached his first climax. Steaming hot liquid poured into me as I came along with him, my hands ripping holes into his shirt as my fingers left scratch marks behind that immediately healed. I moved instinctively as I leaned forward and kissed him. He pulled out as I felt the best I ever had in my entire life.
Even without him inside, I still felt a throbbing pleasure coming from inside me. I opened and closed my arm as I moved it, and felt no pain or pinching I’d expect from a broken bone. I sighed as I didn’t want this to end, but the telltale sound of the barrier being beaten on had begun. It was time to put on my clothes and try to put on my best poker face. The screams of pleasure didn’t do my aloof persona any favors as that was how most of these villagers would view me now… For some reason… I didn’t care.
