Chapter 903 – Aiko’s ploy
After that, the discussion progressed smoothly. There was nothing the Foxes had to necessarily do, but the Southern Sect was still inclined to help them. Mostly because Dai Lu narrated the wonder of the Massage Chairs.
"But to think you would go even against the Heavenly Massage Parlour." The Sect Leader shook his head.
"Are you saying that the Heavenly Massage Parlour offers what we offer?" Mei chuckled softly. She was aware that the Heavenly Massage Parlour existed, but so what? They did not provide their services, outside happy endings, to powerful Cultivators. That was because most of their masseurs were mortals.
But this was also only natural. You would not entrust your body to someone powerful. They could do all sorts of things to you before you realise and by the time you realise, it would be too late.
However, the Massage Chair pretty much solves most of the issues. It's an inorganic object that doesn't indirectly affect the body. Everything is done through the moving mechanism, so everyone will understand there is nothing to fear. The Foxes would even offer some incense, or let them use theirs, mostly for relaxing muscles.
It was pretty much the perfect plan and businesses that would always make money.
As for Aiko's plans about moving base... those have yet to be seen as it would be difficult convincing a Beast to "Hey let me build a whole ass city on your back".
"Well..." The Sect Leader scratched his head. Just because he knew that didn't mean they wouldn't try something. Those guys were like stupid hounds that would try to destroy anything that might endanger their business.
One could say for a good reason since the Massage Chair would completely replace them, but if it was up to the Sect Leader, he would leave it be.
Why? Because the market can't be sated by just Foxes. There would be countless other Cultivators that simply would pick the other option due to the waiting times.
In other words, it would drive up sales not just for Foxes, but for them too.
"See?" Mei shrugged.
"Well, even if I see, that doesn't make this matter any better, you know?" The Sect Leader was having a headache. These Foxes were getting out of hand.
"I was also thinking about including a Spiritual Food Restaurant and the Illusion House." Mei chuckled darkly.
The Sect Leader slapped his forehead, when he heard her sentence. "Now you are just trying to antagonise everyone."
"And?" Mei smiled even more.
"... You know what? I'm not part of your crazy circle, so just do whatever, but we won't be able to help you with THAT." The Sect Leader articulated it very animatedly and for a good reason.
Not just the Heavenly Massage Parlour, but also the Eastern Sect and Fox Sect. All those forces were not small, and this damned Fox wanted to rile up all of them! What an insanity!
"You are now." Mei smirked, giggling at him.
"Oh lord..." The Sect Leader sighed before glaring at the Grandmaster.
"Don't look at me, you were the one who wanted to meet her." The Grandmaster said dismissively.
"You know... I kind of remember why I sent you on that island now. Can't you go back?" The Sect Leader's face was twitching. This guy was the agent of chaos, he wanted to make trouble and have fun at the same time! Just look at his face! How he is massaging his stomach with Qi so that he wouldn't laugh!
"No." The Grandmaster said with the brightest and most genuine smile possible.
"Fuck... I mean, fine." The Sect Leader gave up. It was always nice to strengthen his defences, especially since the Foxes were now around.
"But I wonder how the Fox Sect will act. They probably still believe you will go to them." The Sect Leader was curious. Would they just leave it? Absolutely not! While nobody spread anything about what happened on the island, the affected parties should know about it.
In other words, the Fox Sect would absolutely not let them go when they had so many Floating Stones and resources.
"Oh, we also took apart the 'gift' that made us look like humans." Mei added this to drive the Sect Leader mad. She wanted to know what was limit was-
"..." Mei blinked her eyes. "Did he just hang up on me?"
"That seems to be the case." The Grandmaster finally laughed and very loudly at that.
"THAT was what drove him away?!" Mei couldn't understand. It was not a big-
"You didn't know?" The Grandmaster tilted his head.
"What?" Mei gathered enough information, so there shouldn't be anything missing.
"The other islands have only half-functioning versions, so the Fox Sect planned to take the 'gift' from this island with this Delegation and replace it with half-working one." The Grandmaster said it as a matter of fact.
"???" Mei was both confused and speechless.
"Out of all things, you didn't know that?!" The Grandmaster was genuinely surprised.
"Well... the other islands don't really matter to us." Mei tried to defend herself, but she didn't expect THAT.
"..." The Grandmaster kept staring at her.
"..." Mei stared at him back for a while before looking away.
"... Well, now you know. You might have trouble on the mainland." The Grandmaster coughed awkwardly. They could 'escort' them only so far.
"That's still not a problem." Mei's continental flying ship wouldn't be shot down that easily and if they did, not only would they lose those resources, but they would also lose the knowledge of how to make it.
"You are honestly incredible." The Grandmaster couldn't help but praise her. The grit or shamelessness that she needed to accomplish this was staggering!
"Fine, fine. I will go now." Mei thought he was making fun of her, so she stood up to leave.
"Oh right. There was a message that Vicious Jade Fox was looking for you." The Grandmaster suddenly mentioned.
"Let's not go." Mei immediately decided against it. Knowing Aiko and her current plans, she would absolutely make her wear some ridiculous clothes. Instead of losing dignity, it was better to just stay back and oversee this situation.
"..." The Grandmaster stared at her wordlessly again. He didn't expect this. "You should go."
"I don't think so." Mei shook her head.
"???" He was genuinely speechless at what to do with this Fox...
-----
"Okay!" Moon Aiko nodded her head. "It's time to do some throwing~!"
She knew that it was impossible for her to clear the beach by herself, but if they wanted to have an enjoyable time, they would have to do something about those boulders.
"The Foxes won't move." Danji gently reminded her. All Foxes were currently resting and enjoying their time on this tropical island. They never experienced these kinds of locations, since they were mostly locked up inside the Fox Village.
But now they had the freedom to explore this place, so...
"So they don't want to do any work, huh?" Moon Aiko turned slowly into Witch Aiko.
"I suppose I can convince them." Witch Aiko licked her lips.
"You can't have sex with everyone." Danji immediately stopped Dark Aiko. Her favourite should pay more attention to her.
"What are you talking about?" Witch Aiko was genuinely speechless.
"... Nothing." Danji coughed. It seemed she misunderstood, so she would just brush it off as if nothing happened.
"..." Witch Aiko's lips twitched. Sure, she liked intimacy, but this was going too far!
"Heya~!" Witch Aiko shouted loudly, attracting nearby Foxes attention.
They kept gazing at this Dark Vicious Jade Fox, wondering what she might be up to.
"One Spirit Stone for every rock that hits the Northern Sect. Each hole made into the flying ship is 100 Spirit Stones and whoever sinks it will get 10,000!" Witch Aiko shouted. This wouldn't make much dent into her finances, but-
The Foxes around perked up their ears. The Northern Sect? Rocks? Sinking?
Suddenly, their eyes lip up as they kept smirking and chuckling, before they rushed towards the beach.
"Bring some wood!""Don't forget the rope.""We need more Muscle Foxes, go lure them over. Tell them that they have lots of physical work to do.""Don't forget the Demonic Foxes, we need their brains. Go lure them with some lingeries."
"???" Witch Aiko was confused.
"Oh boy..." Danji sighed, massaging her forehead. "Mei won't be happy about this."
"What do you mean?" Witch Aiko was genuinely confused.
"Most of these Foxes don't like the other Sect, right?" Danji narrowed her eyes, trying to explain to Aiko.
*bang bang**thud thud*
Banking and building noises sounded behind them.
"What do you think will happen if you allow them to bully them AND offer them a reward?" Danji's lips twitched. Now even the Twins joined the fun.
"Oh. Oh... Oh, shit." Witch Aiko couldn't help but curse, turning around and trying to salvage the situation-
"..." However, she was left speechless. "Those are siege engines."
"Pardon?" Danji tilted her head. "Ah, those? The trebuchet, ballista, oh, someone is even refurbishing those cannons."
"..." Witch Aiko's lips twitched. How did they know about these things? She thought those were only in her [Soul Domain]...
"Mei won't be angry right?" Seeing the teary-eyed Dark Aiko, Danji's heartstrings were tugged.
"It will be fine." Danji didn't believe she couldn't convince Mei to let this go. After all, they were 'punishing' that Sect.
*Sniffle*
Witch Aiko was not completely convinced, but the warmth of those peaks made her very happy...
...
"Oh, the first rock is flying." The calmed down Witch Aiko looked over the ocean towards the island where the other Sects were located.
*thud*
"More to the left! Pour more Qi into it, make it go boom!" The Foxes worked pretty well together. And the Muscle Foxes were pretty happy.
Moreover, some of the swimsuits were already in circulation, so the Foxes were even more enthusiastic.
Even when those swimsuits were almost completely covered, the first version that Yuxi used. The black or colourful swimsuit under those clothes could still be seen.
The Foxes LOVED such teasing, so they were even more enthusiastic about making money, so that they could get their hands on it.
That's right, it was all completed by those swimsuits!
Witch Aiko observed the situation. It seems like they wouldn't lose any money with this and Mei might even be happy.
"What in the world is happening?!" Mei's voice sounded behind Aiko, her back and ears stiffened.
"We are playing fetch with the Northern Sect." Danji turned around to explain. After all, she promised everything would be alright...
