Chapter 585 – Doors open
Sun Aiko rolled onto her legs. She was much slimmer than any of her sisters, and she was closer to a tomboy...
Danji pinched her cheeks. "Why are none of you normal..." She questioned if she would suffer in the future because of this, and the answer was very likely...
However, Danji had no intention of letting Aiko go. She was too sweet and caring, so the pros far outweighed the cons.
"Don't pinch me." Sun Aiko tried to squirm away, but since she had to be careful due to her heat, she was unable to get away.
Sun Aiko didn't want to hurt Danji by accident, so her squirms were more of a cute struggle than anything.
'Cute...' Danji wondered if this was her favourite Aiko, but... 'Nothing beats the tender care of Dark Aiko.' She nodded her head gently, but indulging in such a chaotic sibling energy was not that bad.
"Let's do this again." Sun Aiko tried to move on, since she wanted to play a bit more.
"The cannon is busted." Danji shattered Aiko's 'fun'.
"Uh-oh..." Sun Aiko would definitely be scolded later, so she suddenly behaved herself.
Danji felt strange seeing such great mood swings, but there was no time to question it, since Aiko recovered soon after.
"So, how do we get inside when the plan has now failed?" Sun Aiko pondered, stroking her non-existent beard.
Danji rolled her eyes. "Whose fault is that?"
"Not mine, I didn't load the canon with Qi." Sun Aiko whistled innocently. It was definitely not because she stuck her tails deep inside, acting as a barrier that stopped that force momentarily, that caused the whole cannon to explode.
Seeing that Aiko would not be honest, Danji had to ask a different question. "How did you even manage that?"
"What?" Sun Aiko cutely tilted her head.
Danji, by instinct, patted Aiko gently.
'Why is she so small?' Once she realised what she was doing, she stopped her hand.
"How did you manage to bounce around?" Danji narrowed her eyes.
"Eldest Sis gave me that gift." Sun Aiko shrugged like she couldn't understand it either.
'This is... flabbergasting...' Danji felt like her world was spinning.
She couldn't understand why Aiko couldn't understand what she was doing. That was so unlike her!
"Come on, let's dig!" Sun Aiko was already elsewhere with a shovel, digging like a mole.
"This..." Danji was unable to keep up with Aiko's energy. It seemed like her energy was endless, but that's definitely her imagination... right?
...
Sun Aiko kept digging while Danji watched from the side. Her head hurt from all the things that happened in such a short span of time.
"This is too slow!" Sun Aiko fumed and picked another shovel. "Twice the powah!" And she immediately resumed her digging, but with two shovels!
Danji shut off her brain, since this whole situation was too absurd.
"You also have tails..." Danji suggested it as a joke, making Aiko freeze all over.
Sun Aiko turned around and stared at Danji in awe. "You are a genius!"
"... Huh?" Danji thought she had heard wrong, but when Aiko pulled out even more shovels, she was the one to stiffen this time.
"You don't-"
Yes, she does.
Danji almost fainted when she saw Aiko's tails handling the shovels like they were extensions of her arms.
"Haha!" Sun Aiko got the hang of it quite soon, since she not only had skill, but also instinct to back her up.
Aiko now looked like a shovel spider, and her digging speed could put moles to shame!
She was like an army of ants, easily ripping the earth apart!
"..." Danji pulled out a bed and took some distance. She should sleep this one out; otherwise, she might actually cough up blood and faint from this shock.
...
"hehehehehehehehehe" Sun Aiko kept digging with that creepy laugh.
Both the Ghost and Danji had nightmares about that laughter, especially when they heard the temple creak and tilt.
"I will dig the earth~!" Sun Aiko roared as she redoubled her efforts.
She kept digging like this for a few days until she grew tired mentally.
Needless to say, if Sun Aiko were not heating up everything around her, she would be so dirty that nobody would want to touch her.
Fortunately, the heat she was releasing didn't allow anything near her.
Sun Aiko stored the shovels in her Storage Rings.
She had so many miscellaneous things that she couldn't even count them, but they all would come in handy one day, so she didn't want to throw them away.
Sun Aiko climbed up from the huge hole that she had dug. The golden temple was tilted to one side, but it didn't feel like it would slide in just yet.
Sun Aiko rubbed her eyes when she saw Danji happily sleeping.
'This is unfair.' Sun Aiko's ears lay flat, but soon after, they perked up.
*swish**jump*
In midair, Sun Aiko stretched in all directions, waiting to fall onto the sleeping Danji!
However, Danji already expected that Aiko would try to do something, so she was on high alert.
Feeling Aiko above her, Danji shivered.
She caught Aiko midair and wrapped the blanket around her.
Now Aiko looked like sushi, but Danji didn't mind it. She would be able to finally sleep, since Sun Aiko wouldn't want to tear this thing apart.
"I can't move." Sun Aiko sniffled.
"If you are nice, you can sleep next to me." Danji wanted to strike a deal with her.
"Deal." Sun Aiko nodded repeatedly like she would cause trouble.
Danji kept her wits up as she freed Sun Aiko, but she really went to sleep almost immediately, startling her.
'What's happening to her...' Danji blinked a few times before lying back down too.
...
The night... was quite eventful, since Sun Aiko was playing the master kicker game.
The first time, Danji was caught off guard, sending her flying as Sun Aiko kept snoozing happily.
Danji immediately took a rope to restrain Aiko, but she was like a worm. She always somehow squirmed her way out of the rope, making Danji upset.
It got so bad that Danji had to pull out another bed from her Storage Ring, just so she could sleep without being kicked by Aiko!
...
The next day, Sun Aiko turned out to be Moon Aiko in a bad mood.
It seemed like Moon Aiko didn't get enough sleep, and the same could be said for Danji.
"Gosh, you can't imagine how happy I'm to see you like this..." Danji said frankly.
"You don't have to mention it." Moon Aiko wanted to inspect that canon later, but she didn't expect that her 'gift' would be paired with the canon, causing this kind of mess.
"I kind of feel bad for him." Danji glanced at the golden temple that was cracked and tilted.
"That's the youngest for you." Moon Aiko shook her head. Neither of them would allow Sun Aiko to come out!
Danji shook her head. "Is it even worth it to go inside?"
"It is. We need materials that can affect Ghosts for you to get proper revenge." Moon Aiko groaned. Her head throbbed from all the surrounding dust.
"Oh..." Danji felt happy that Aiko was treating her so well, but slightly upset that 'that' kind of Aiko exists.
"Let's knock on the door first." Moon Aiko nodded her head. She let her sisters play around, and it almost ended in disaster...
"Good idea." Danji nodded her head repeatedly. She was ecstatic that normal Aiko was back.
"Why does it feel like you are trying to curse me?" Moon Aiko paused, turning around.
"You are imagining things." Danji wrapped her body around Aiko's arm before nudging her forward.
Moon Aiko rolled her eyes, but let this go. Sun Aiko had already caused a mess, so she would indulge Danji for a bit.
"What do you think?" Danji tilted her head.
"A mess..." Moon Aiko sighed.
"That's not what I mean." Danji shook her head. 'It's an impressive hole...'
"The hole?" Moon Aiko tilted her head.
"Yeah." Danji looked down.
"It's a hole." Moon Aiko tilted her head, not understanding what Danji meant.
"Yeah, it's a hole." Danji nodded her head.
"..." Both of them were silent. Neither of them wanted to elaborate.
"Let's just go." Moon Aiko sighed.
"En." Danji felt the same way.
"I feel like I will have nightmares about this place..." She sighed gently.
"Sorry..." Moon Aiko apologised on behalf of those rascals.
"It's not your-" Danji wanted to say that it was not her fault, but Aiko was still Aiko, so it was a bit awkward.
*knock knock*
Before even Danji realised, they were already in front of those huge, cracked doors, and Aiko knocked on them.
The doors opened without any resistance, as if inviting them.
"..." Both of them froze. Could it be that they had to just knock to get inside? Surely not?! RIGHT?!
Both of them entered the temple with completely listless expressions. Neither of them dared to think about it, since if knocking was all it took...
No words could describe what they were feeling.
Moon Aiko glanced around. This place was littered with Inscriptions, so much so that the Treasure Pavilion inside the Fox Village was just a cheap imitation.
Moon Aiko was curious about this place, but she didn't try to look around too much since she wanted to comfort Danji.
"You can inspect it." Danji had a slightly listless, yet kind smile.
"..." Moon Aiko felt conflicted. "I'm good."
"I'm fine, so you can go." Danji nudged Aiko.
"I'm not going anywhere." Moon Aiko shook her head.
Danji was slightly startled. She knew Aiko's obsession with Runes, so for her to reject this...
"I will just stash this place into my tails." Moon Aiko nodded her head, making Danji speechless once again.
"Please don't talk, I think I'm having a headache..." Danji groaned unhappily.
Who would've thought that even the normal Aiko was not normal...
Danji liked Dark Aiko the most, since she was at least up to her slut levels, but this cold Aiko was too absurd and... hot...
"I hate you..." Danji sniffled. She didn't know what to think, as her natural attraction was all twisted by Aiko.
"Sorry..." Moon Aiko hugged Danji gently, trying to comfort her so that she could feel better.
"Seriously..." Danji sniffled in Aiko's arms.
"Yes, yes..." Moon Aiko kept patting Danji's back.
