Chapter 567 – Talks and Elders

Moon Aiko conjured a multitude of illusions, while Danji prepared her brushes.

"I'm surprised that they didn't take your Storage Rings." Aiko tilted her head.

"They didn't grope me." Danji chuckled. She stored most of her things there, since it was easy to get to, and it was also well hidden.

"Huh..." Moon Aiko narrowed her eyes. She didn't believe that it would work that well. Maybe she should also do this?

Danji smiled. "It's very nice, but not foolproof. You might lose them if they are squishing together, and that is not as comfortable as letting them loose."

"You have some strange descriptions, but I think I get what you mean." Moon Aiko nodded her head.

"Good." Danji smiled. She was not really one for explanation, as long as someone understood her, all was well.

"What are you doing?" Danji asked gently.

"Some Flags for you. Revision of the Cauldron. That sort of thing." Moon Aiko said seriously.

"Is that why there are 'toys' floating around?" Danji narrowed her eyes.

Moon Aiko coughed seriously, yet with a hint of awkwardness.

"Of course, everything needs to be researched for it to be improved."

Danji rolled her eyes and focused on Aiko's tails.

"You are matting in some places." Danji said seriously.

"Yeah, the journey was rough, and I didn't really pay that much attention." Moon Aiko confessed, but it was only natural to end up like this.

"... Thank you..." Danji was quite happy that Aiko rushed over. "I will be taking care of your tails from this point on."

"Won't you grow tired of it?" Moon Aiko tilted her head. She would definitely grow tired, since her tails were bigger and fluffier than those of a normal Fox.

"It's easy once you get the hang of it, but it can indeed be burdensome." Danji nodded her head. "However, it's better to maintain it than deal with the issues later on."

"I see..." Moon Aiko nodded.

The first flag was a simply reversed spike flag.

The second flag was like a bat with nails embedded in it.

The third flag was covered in a highly irritating liquid.

There were many more flags that Moon Aiko prepared for her Danji.

"Pick whichever you like, and I will see how quickly I can create it." Moon Aiko narrowed her eyes.

She still had some flags in her Storage Ring, so modifying it wouldn't be too hard, but certain flags would take a while.

Moon Aiko gently shook her head. The poisons would take a while, since they required some energy to create, while others required just a knife and minor modifications.

Danji glanced at those flags; some were quite interesting.

"Why is this metal one?" Danji asked curiously.

"It acts as a thunder rod, so it attracts the Heavenly Lightning, 'blessing' your ass." Moon Aiko said proudly, since she was quite pissy about how many times she was struck by that shitty lightning!

Danji was surprised. "Wouldn't that anger the heavens?"

"If it angers it, just pull more of them." Moon Aiko shrugged like a gangster.

Danji giggled. "If it were that easy, many would do it."

"It's because it's easy that no one would think about it. It would take them hundreds of poles to reach a good enough number, and thousands to deal with the Heavenly Lightning." Moon Aiko sighed. She didn't have nearly enough metal to create all of them, but she would get there one day!

"Ohhhh." Danji nodded her head. This would make sense, since nobody would be willing to go that far just because of a single breakthrough.

"Will you be creating all of them?" Danji was curious what kind of road Aiko would take.

"Yes, but I don't have enough resources." Moon Aiko shook her head.

"But won't you grow tired of it?" Danji was slightly concerned that Aiko might grow sick of it.

"Who said that you can't make nice engravings on the poles? You can try many different sizes and shapes, so it's not like you have to do one size and dimensions every time." Moon Aiko didn't think it would be that hard to forge so many of them.

Not to mention, this would also allow her to get a lot of experience when it came to forging, allowing her to reach higher without actually wasting resources.

It might be a safe way to raise her experience, but it was still plausible!

Danji was pleasantly surprised. "Do you like the Art of Forging?"

"I think?" Moon Aiko tilted her head. "Well, I want to modify many things, but I don't really have time to explain every single little detail, so at that point I might as well make it myself." She shrugged gently, but it was obvious she had many ideas inside her mind.

"Is it that complex?" Danji didn't think it would be that hard.

"Take, for example, the massage chair. I had to make a drawing of all the pieces, but that was not all; each piece had to be measured perfectly." Moon Aiko gestured. "Now, here is the problem. Not all shapes are uniform, and many of them have bends or strange shapes just to make them work on the human or the Beast's body."

"And because those parts are hard to describe, it's easier for you to learn the Art of Forging." Danji nodded her head.

"Bingo." Moon Aiko nodded her head. "With that, I don't have to spend days drawing the plans and explaining the shapes, and just make it myself in a few minutes."

"They also don't necessarily need to be tempered, so some things are fine, soft, which saves a lot of time." Moon Aiko smiled as she fiddled with the illusions.

Danji was quite happy that Aiko was so open with her.

-----

A few tremors spread throughout the Inscription Association.

Chen Shi yawned gently. The tremors signified their act of escape, but that was useless.

'They are trying to escape, huh...' Chen Shi was not bothered.

Those who were able to escape would be stuck in the great void, unable to move and eventually devoured by it.

However, even if they did accomplish that, all their Treasures, no matter how they were connected, would be returned to the Treasure Hall!

'Just like that.' Looking outside, Chen Shi saw some Treasures flying from the edge of the Array into the Treasure Hall.

Chen Yanqi squirmed next to him.

"See, you can do it if you try." She yawned gently before wincing back.

"Auchie, I can't feel my waist." Chen Yanqi massaged her back. It felt like Chen Shi broke it in half with how ferocious he was this morning.

Chen Shi's lips twitched. She was superb at stirring him up. The same happened in that Secret Realm with that erotic outfit...!

"It seems like a few of them died." Chen Yanqi yawned when she noticed he was not biting.

"Why do you think that is the case?" Chen Shi chuckled.

"Besides the Treasures, this place lost a lot of 'aura'." Chen Yanqi chuckled. "That means high-stage Cultivators disappeared. And in that case, it also meant they died."

"You don't think they escaped?" Chen Shi was always shocked by how much she believed in him.

"As long as that Array is yours, it will work 100 times out of 100." Chen Yanqi hugged the pillow. "You proved it in that Sacred Realm."

"Now, hold on. Don't bring 'that' up. I really didn't expect there to be a whole colony!" Chen Shi pleaded with his wife.

"So what? You really think that Fire Ants would only be a few in number?" Chen Yanqi snorted at him.

"Then why did you follow me?" Chen Shi frowned at her.

"Because we would be alone, and I could seduce you again." Chen Yanqi shrugged.

Chen Shi almost flipped out. "Do you even think about anything else?" He sighed gently.

"I also think about how your thick cock stuffed me and filled me up." Chen Yanqi teased him. "I also think about what we should do when Yue wakes up."

"Now hold on. Those two things are all about sex." Chen Shi wanted to somehow stop her, but it was hard with that kind of body.

"No. I also want to play with Yue." Chen Yanqi pouted.

"Wording! Wording!" Chen Shi already had another hard on, but he definitely couldn't indulge this time. He was already tired the previous time, and it would be bad if the Array collapsed by chance.

Chen Yanqi stuck out her tongue before lying back in the bed and closing her eyes.

Chen Shi sighed as he stood up. He would have to change his clothes, since they were already sweaty again.

'It's time to visit some Elders... and Aiko.' Chen Shi was definitely not looking for the latter one, since it was 100 times easier to deal with Elders than one demonically chaotic Fox.

'She also was beautiful.' Chen Shi shook his head. He definitely should not have had such emotions, but he indulged so many times, and those whispers also did number on him.

'I will have to start changing the mantra or sutra to get rid of the Inner Demons.' Chen Shi sighed.

Dressing up in a black robe, he walked out.

When the servant saw those robes, they immediately shrank back.

This kind of robe earned him the nickname of a 'Black Rune Demon'.

He didn't like that nickname, since he never left anything behind them and his Runes were definitely not black, but Cultivators always think of the worst nicknames to give to their enemies...

'Can't be helped.' Chen Shi narrowed his eyes as he took a step.

The space shattered around him, and he appeared in a long hall with an even longer table.

Only 1/3rd of the seats were filled, and those Elders were the only ones that still stood on his side even after he had fallen this low.

"Elders." Chen Shi nodded at them.

"Sir." The Elders stood up and cupped their fists.

"Sit, sit. No need for this." Chen Shi sat at the helm of the table and looked over them.

"The number had decreased again." Chen Shi sighed, but he didn't blame them.

But just because he didn't blame them didn't mean he would forgive them.

"It seems like I will have to clean the house one last time." Chen Shi narrowed his eyes, making the Elders shiver.

It had been a long time since they got this kind of feeling from him, but they were definitely happy.

"Oh, and if you have any kind of Soul Nurturing Treasure, do bring them to me." Chen Shi said gently, but it was obvious that he would be looking for those later, so he said it now so that they wouldn't be surprised.

"Of course, Sir!" The Elders bowed towards him.

"I actually have one Treasure on me-" The Elders immediately started to bring him the Treasures, making Chen Shi very happy...
