Chapter 489 – Aiko’s Evolution – Part 4

[#### nudged the system into a certain direction.][Re-evaluating Titles and removing obsolete Titles. Merging Titles where appropriate and adjusting their effects...][Re-evaluating other parts of the system for lesser Providence consumption.][Adjusting the reward system.][The reward system is now proportional to the difficulty of the given task, with special tasks giving more rewards.]

[Evolution is still undergoing.][The system will not touch the races yet.][The Vibrant Moon is resonating.]

[System paused re-evaluation.]

[The Vibrant Moon is pulsating.]

Deep inside Aiko, a large Moon took shape. It was directly against the Sun, covering anything behind it.

[[Sprout?] is quivering.]

The Sun was providing exceptional heat, but the Moon was countering it with its cold atmosphere.

[The Moon Throne is already taken.]

The Goddess of Moon was startled for a moment before resting yet again.

She understood that Aiko had no intention to take any thrones yet, so she would just have to prepare when the time came.

She still liked that small Fox, so there was a possibility for negotiations.

[[Sprout?] is blooming.]

Suddenly, the Moon was pierced by a sprout that turned into a seedling. Turning the Moon into a blooming star.

[Sprout?] -> [Seedling]

A sprout turned into a seedling, a seedling would bloom into the biggest tree, but it was not time yet. The Sun was too powerful and the Moon too weak.

[Species is undergoing startling changes. The aged vessel is appropriate to balance the newfound power.]

Aiko was once again wrapped in light. Her evolution was not completely over.

[The system will go into temporary sleep mode to adjust the rest.][You are now tasked to leave this Sacred Realm!]

[Leave Sacred Realm][Special Mission][Leave this place and recover!][Reward: #### opportunity]

Aiko breathed out. This was quite taxing on her brain, since she was not like Moon Aiko, but at least she was not as stupid as Nightmare Aiko!

Sun Aiko glanced around, happily jumping in the air with her technique.

Well, it was closer to levitation, since she had trouble controlling her strength. She was very unfamiliar with her current body situation. Moreover, her tails now weighed her down as there was nothing in front, helping to balance it out!

"Where is the exit~" Sun Aiko jumped around happily, not minding this completely empty space, void of any energy. The only reason this space existed was thanks to Aiko's presence being watched from the void.

However, Aiko could not find any kind of exit!

"No way!" Sun Aiko was shocked and wanted to cry, but then she remembered that familiar skill!

[Jaws of ####][Divine Auxiliary Ability. It would let you escape from the clutches of Cultivators! Sending you back to its marked location, no matter how far that place might be!][Warning! This Ability requires a great deal of Energy, and if not properly satisfied, the Ability will choose its sacrifice instead of Energy!]

"I have plenty of energy!" The overly bouncy Aiko immediately tapped it.

The ground below her darkened into a pitch-black void.

"Eh...?" The overly shiny Aiko was like a lighthouse in a dark night.

"Scary!" For some reason, Sun Aiko didn't like scary stuff...

"No way it has teeth and so many eyes!" Sun Aiko's face immediately darkened like she was unwilling to get close to it.

However, [Jaws of ####] would not wait for her!

It immediately closed around her!

"No way! Nonononono! I can't do this!" Sun Aiko immediately started to run, but the [Jaws of ####] 'bit' her leg.

"Kyyya! No! Bad mouth! Lemme go! I will find another way!" Sun Aiko protested against it, but...

"Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

She was dragged into the mouth, even if she was unwilling...
