Chapter 487 – Aiko’s Evolution – Part 2

Heat swirled around Aiko's body. It was undergoing startling evolution.

[User has been subjected to a powerful Seal.][Most Passive Abilities were sealed.][The Internal Heat is rising.][Proceeding with Evolution as is.]

The system was still working on protecting Aiko. The second Seal was laid, and the Internal Heat rose even higher.

This was a very important point, since they were trying to seal Aiko's power, but they didn't seal the outside world.

What that meant was that Aiko was able to gather all that energy inside the Seal, but none of that energy could escape.

As you might expect, this had startling consequences.

This Seal would only seal the outside World when it reached its final form with all seals activated.

Until that point, Aiko would be benefiting greatly.

The Foxes outside struggled to put seals around their target due to the intense heat.

The Solar Plains also resonated in Aiko, not as much as before, since she was no longer spreading the Solar Qi, but still enough due to the intense heat and light she was giving off.

[User has been subjected to a powerful Seal.][Most Martial Techniques were sealed.][The Internal Heat is rising.][Proceeding with Evolution as is.]

Aiko was now a round ball of heat emanating disaster. The Seals were able to reduce the heat somewhat, but thanks to it, Aiko was getting more and more ridiculous inside.

[Thanks to the Internal Pressure, the User obtained Solar Essence.][Storing it inside the User's body.][Solar Essence is resonating with [Solar Body]. Efficiency increased greatly.]

...

"Hold the line!" The leader said, but she was the only one who didn't have burnt skin at this point. Even her Solar Bloodline had a hard time keeping up with this Evolution, and she was consuming the heat the Vicious Jade Fox was giving off during this time!

Her own cultivation increased greatly, but not quickly enough to be able to stand on par with her!

This frustrated her, but there was nothing they could do now. They could only hold on, and if everything went to shit, they would use their Cultivation and Life Essence paired with Vitality to complete the Seal.

[User has been subjected to a powerful Seal.][Most Beast Techniques were sealed.][The Internal Heat is rising.][Warning. The Internal Heat crossed a limit. Using [Tainted Blood Essence] to cool off the body.][Warning. The [Tainted Blood Essence] is unable to hold back the heat and is vaporising itself.][Solution found. Using the excess of materials to age the body.]

Inside the ball of light, Aiko's body grew once more.

[Bloodline Gift activated.]

The Bloodline Gift was supposed to activate sooner, but it was unable to find an appropriate Bloodline for the current Aiko.

There was one Bloodline it could choose, but that wouldn't help Aiko in her current circumstances.

[Bloodline is evolving by steps.][Using more materials to nurture it.][Using the [Fire-Fox Glass Vessel] in tandem with Spiritual Flame to forge a vessel for the Bloodline.][Blazing Sun Fox(Dormant)] -> [Solar Fox] -> [Supreme Solar Fox] -> [Primaeval Solar Fox] -> [Unable to progress] -> ... -> ... -> [Primordial Fire-Fox] -> [Unable to progress] -> ... -> ... -> ... ->

The heat around Aiko increased greatly with each step of her new Bloodline, and her body was changing along with it in order to be able to cope with that new power.

Just then, a wolf's roar spread from the small 'sun'.

It was Aiko's Divine Sense. An old friend who was with her for a long time.

[Primordial Fire-Fox] -> [Primordial Devouring Wolf-Rayet Kitsune (Dormant)]

[The [Vibrant Moon Goddess Kitsune] is fighting against [Primordial Devouring Wolf-Rayet Kitsune (Dormant)].][There is a risk for the User.][Using the existing seals to shift the pressure.][Primordial Devouring Wolf-Rayet Kitsune (Dormant)] -> [Primordial Devouring Wolf-Rayet Kitsune (Dormant)(Sealed)]

[Unable to completely suppress the [Primordial Devouring Wolf-Rayet Kitsune].][Seeking alternatives.][Shifting Evolution Path.][Solar Fox] -> [Sun and Moon Fox]

[User has been subjected to a powerful Seal.][Most Abilities were sealed.][The Internal Heat is rising.][There is a danger to the User's body!][The [Tainted Blood Essence] vaporised and formed [Primaeval Blood Essence Marble].][[Primaeval Blood Essence Marble] is being further refined by User.]

[[Spiritual Flame] stepped in.][[Spiritual Flame] is trying to suppress the Sun.][[Spiritual Flame] is flustered.][[Spiritual Flame] roars like a Dragon.][A sudden Evolution occurred.]

[[Spiritual Flame] is undergoing Evolution thanks to [Primordial Devouring Wolf-Rayet Kitsune (Dormant)(Sealed)].]

[The Excess heat is being transformed into power due to [Spiritual Flame]'s Origin.]

[[Mellow Azure Spiritual Flame] is undergoing the final step in Evolution.][Mellow Azure Spiritual Flame] -> [Serene Azure Spiritual Flame]

[Serene Azure Spiritual Flame (Ranking: 96th->9th & 100+->89th)]

[[Serene Azure Spiritual Flame] is fighting against [Primordial Devouring Wolf-Rayet Kitsune].][Thanks to its tranquil nature, it's not affected by the Bloodlines devouring trait.][Bloodline [Primordial Devouring Wolf-Rayet Kitsune] is calming down.]

[User has been subjected to a powerful Seal.][Most Innate Abilities were sealed.][The Internal Heat is rising.][There is a danger to the User's body!]

"AGH! FOR FUCK’S SAKE, YOU KNOW HOW HARD I'M WORKING, YOU BRATS!" Grandpa Flame roared in anger.

[[Spiritual Flame] is angry.]

"%#@$%@#$!" Grandpa Flame cursed both Aiko and this shameless system.

Did she not have enough strength?! Why did she want to swallow everything?!

Well, he was certainly happy that he had grown stronger.

He was no longer a feeble flame like before, but his flame now even had 'scales' that he could use for protection.

It was pretty much a Dragon body, just... without the actual Dragon Body...

Thanks to the [Fire-Fox Glass Vessel], he was holding on quite well. He was currently patching the few remaining holes, and that whole Bloodline would be trapped inside it, at Aiko's mercy.

This would naturally exhaust him greatly, but he would be able to recover. In a few years... maybe.

At this point, the Foxes operating the Seal had already sacrificed their everything to progress it, but that only gave them a 'peaceful' death in return.

Now the Seal would stay as is, without moving an inch.

Suddenly, the Heavenly Lightning that was trying to constantly hammer the Seal formed a hand.

The Sacred Realm was likewise distorted, and a completely white being appeared.

They were both shrouded by mysteries, but their goals aligned. To seal this Fox before she destroys this place/grows stronger.

The Seal started to operate again.

[User has been subjected to a powerful Seal.][Most Beast Familiars were sealed.][The Internal Heat is rising.]

[User has been subjected to a powerful Seal.][Most Elemental Spirits were sealed.][The Internal Heat is rising.][There is a danger to the User's body!][The User is on the verge of collapse!]

The Goddess of Moon was flustered. Her Divination never said anything about the Heavenly Dao interfering this much, nor did it mention the Sacred Realm giving it a hand.

This issue was much bigger than what anyone could imagine...

Aiko's body suddenly dissolved, turning into a star.

-----

*squirm squirm*

*Implosion of Solar Core*

[Connection between individual 'Aiko' the #### Princess and Primordial Devouring Sun, established.]

A humongous Sun inside the Immortal World woke up.

Its cracked and dried-up surface melted with a blue hue, slowly recovering its former glory.

The Primordial Devouring Sun, which was never supposed to settle in the Immortal World, woke up, and with it, changes occurred.

[The Throne inside the Primordial Devouring Sun is empty.][Its rightful owner is being threatened.]

"Burn brightly..." An unknown voice from within the star spoke as the Primordial Devouring Sun erupted in never-before-seen havoc.

[Solar Emission]

The first of many Abilities of the [Primordial Devouring Sun].

The surrounding area around the Sun immediately turned into nothingness as the heat it emitted surpassed anything and everything in existence.

[Immeasurable Disaster is approaching.]

The Goddess of Moon stayed silent. They were safe since the Moon was always at odds with the Sun, but that was not the case for the Immortal World. Unless the Heavenly Dao steps in, the whole Immortal World would burn to ashes once the Primordial Devouring Sun fully woke up.

"How foolish..." That unknown voice was slightly clearer than before. It sounded young and gentle, yet those words would immediately devour the mind and vaporise the Soul.

The Heavenly Dao was flustered; it never imagined that something like this would happen!

It had to withdraw before the final Seal in order to protect the Immortal World from annihilation!

The Sacred Realm was likewise flustered. Without a powerful medium like the Heavenly Dao, the Seal would not last at all!

-----

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, THE IMMEASURABLE DISASTER IS COMING?!" An Immortal from the largest Immortal Sect roared. "THERE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE 2,000 MORE YEARS BEFORE THAT IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!"

Every Sect in the Immortal World was beyond flustered as they noticed the sharp spike in temperature...

-----

[All unknown forces, but one, withdrawn.][The system will now take over the Seal and adjust it.][The system will use the majority of the Ancestral Phoenix's Providence as issued in the contract to offset this power.][There is an influx of energy from beyond. The quality and danger of this energy could not be assessed.][[Primordial Devouring Fire-Fox Glass Vessel] was created!][[Primordial Devouring Wolf-Rayet Kitsune] was stored inside.]

The [Fire-Fox Glass Vessel] changed without recognition. It was previously a slightly hazy glass vessel that could host Souls, but that changed.

It now hosted the most powerful Bloodline in existence, sealing its power until the time was right...
