Chapter 485 – Aiko’s realisation and Storm that is approaching

"Mm..." Aiko knew that she would have to go, but it was a bit sooner than expected.

"Did you enjoy your time?" Aiko didn't even know why she was asking this; it just felt important.

Yueying munched on her lip. "Yeah, it was the most enjoyable time."

"Good." Aiko smiled as she stored the shiny piece of metal.

Yueying was quite happy that Aiko didn't throw it away; it meant a lot to her.

"Next time we will probably meet in the main continent of the Upper Mortal World." Yueying briefly said. If she won the celebration or curried favour with her Auntie, she would definitely make it to the Upper Mortal World early.

That meant she would be quite far from Aiko, but that was fine.

With Aiko's growth, it shouldn't take too long.

"It's a vast world out there, we might meet sooner." Aiko smiled. Why was this goodbye harder than the others? Because she didn't know when they would meet again?

Aiko couldn't tell.

'Now I'm starting to miss Mei...' Nightmare Aiko groaned inside her mind. When all was over, she would definitely monopolise Mei.

Yueying smiled gently as she picked up Yanyan. It was good that she fainted at this time, since this situation wouldn't embarrass her more.

Bidding farewell to Aiko, she quickly left the premises.

[You have earned a new Title: [Great Fluff Equal to Heaven]!]

Aiko ignored that title for the time being. She didn't want to ruin the nice moment...

...

"Hm, now what should I do..." Aiko believed that more adventures were a bad idea, lest she meet more moles.

What was left was looking for Herbs or her Evolution. Her small Spider went somewhere again, so Aiko was quite alone, but she still believed this would be the perfect opportunity.

Walking away from the mountain, it didn't take her all that much time to encounter a certain individual.

It was that girl who was with the protagonist. Her ears were short, albeit a bit pointier than those of Humans.

She looked quite weak, like she had lost everything, and was pretty much soaked.

'Did I cause this?' Nightmare Aiko tilted her head. She just flooded a hateful hole, so it was not like she really caused this.

Moving her out of the puddle of water, she prepared a small campfire and let her warm up.

A few slaps on the back also helped her cough up water from her lungs, but the girl still stood unconscious.

Aiko shook her head and waited for a while, not seeing any movement from the girl; she eventually gave up and left the premises.

It was not like she liked that girl, but she also didn't hate her. It was already enough that she dried her with the campfire and let her warm up.

-----

Ying coughed up violently once again. She finally woke up from her spirit form.

With pursed lips, she looked around. That Foxy was now gone, but she didn't understand why she helped her.

Shaking her head slowly, she heard footsteps behind her.

She wanted to jump away and take guard, but she almost drowned just moments ago, and it was difficult for her to move.

"I'm not an enemy." That person raised her hands and approached slowly.

Ying's eyes shone gently. Those were the same eyes that determined Long Chen's worth, but even those eyes couldn't tell her if that person was good or not.

Ying pursed her lips. This person was worth more than Long Chen, but she wondered how she could compare to the Foxy.

"A Fox saved your life just moments ago." The person said. The more she approached, the more breathtaking she became.

Yet Ying didn't drop her guard, and that was because-

'Cannibal.' She could smell the unique smell of a cannibal on her.

"How about joining me. I will help you take revenge on Long Chen." That beauty pursed her lips, but a smile slowly crept onto her face.

"..." Ying didn't say anything. She did hate Long Chen, but not to the point that she would risk her life with her worthless value against him.

That person took a few steps and appeared right in front of Ying.

Ying was startled, but she had no strength to get away. Fear slowly appeared on her dry face.

"How beautiful." That beauty slowly caressed her face.

Ying was stunned. With a mixture of emotions, she was trying to figure out what was happening.

"I have changed my mind." That beauty slowly nodded.

Ying still didn't say anything, but she felt disappointed. On one hand, she was called beautiful, but on the other, that person changed her mind...

"How about coming with me?" That beauty obviously took a liking to her. She had no intention of eating this girl, even when she ripened.

"Huh?" Ying was slightly startled.

"Oh? So you can talk?" That beauty's eyes shone slightly; she was quite amused by this girl.

Ying looked away, swallowing her words.

"I will stick around for a while, so tell me if you are willing to follow me." That beauty smiled gently.

"But I'm useless..." Without her leaves, she couldn't produce any miracles, nor did her immortality activate. All that was left was just a never-ageing husk of a body.

"Hmmmmmm." The beauty didn't say anything. Her worldview changed many times over the upcoming years.

It was a blessing in disguise when that tiny creature bit her neck; without that, she would still be under the control of that useless bitch.

Ying didn't say anything any more, but something was troubling her.

"He was my fiancé, now ex. He dumped me because I was too ugly." The beauty spat on the ground, like she was trying to curse him.

"???" Ying was confused. It was impossible for this beauty to be ugly, but then again-

"Are you wearing someone else's face?" Ying swallowed. A question that you should never ask a cannibal was muttered.

"No? Well, I did gain 'nutritions'-" The beauty realised something. "You can smell it?" She blinked at the girl.

Ying was flustered and immediately shook her head.

"Then maybe I should have a taste~?" That beauty gently took her face and came close to her.

Ying whimpered since she didn't have enough strength to push her away.

*smooch*

"Like refreshing strawberries." The beauty licked her lips. "My favourite."

Ying didn't know if she should cry or laugh. Was she being teased, or did this person really mean it?

-----

Inside a floating space, a small sparkling metal object suddenly appeared.

"Something new!""Something shiny!"

A group of Foxes immediately perked their ears and 'swam' towards it. They were curious about what Aiko obtained this time.

Last time it was a strange blob that loved to play in water, so they had high hopes for this one, too.

"I have no idea what this is..." One Fox gently said.

"Me neither.""Not me."

Others chimed in, but they had to eventually give up and bring it to their Saintess.

The Demonic Saintess lazily floated around as she read books that were recommended by her new lover.

"I'm surprised she is fine with this arrangement..." The Demonic Saintess couldn't believe that Yu was fine with her having other partners. 'Although her sex drive might be higher than mine...'

That's right, she lazed around because she was physically exhausted.

'No wonder she said, that as long as I can satisfy her, I can do anything... I don't even have energy to move after being 'visited'.' The Demonic Saintess shook her head. Who would've guessed that she would fall into such a simple trap...

"Saintess.""Saintess!""Saintess~!"

The Demonic Foxes excitedly floated in front of her, and this action attracted even more curious Foxes.

"What is it this time? Just don't blow anything up..." The Saintess shook her head.

"Aiko got something new!" The excited Demonic Fox places the shiny metal in front of the Demonic Saintess.

"What? You found another met- W-w-w-w-where did you find this?!" The Demonic Saintess at first didn't know what that was, but she soon realised that it felt very familiar.

"It just floated in?" The Demonic Foxes tilted their heads. They couldn't understand why their Saintess was acting like this.

"Listen. Do not touch this under any circumstances!" The Demonic Saintess proclaimed.

"Oh, a Dragon Scale." Yuqi suddenly appeared.

"Dragon Scale?" Feifei never saw anything like it so she was very curious about it.

"Yes." Yuqi nodded her head. "This is a Dragon Scale, but with this energy..." She licked her lips.

"Do not say anything. Do not do anything." The Demonic Saintess said sternly.

The Demonic Foxes immediately pounced onto their Saintess.

"Tell us! Tell us!""We are curious!""We are dying of curiosity!"

It was obvious that the Demonic Foxes wouldn't take no for an answer.

At this point, even the Chameleon Tribe appeared.

"Oh, isn't that a bridal scale?" The chaotic situation was immediately frozen over.

Everyone was trying to process those words.

"A-Aiko got married?! How could she do that!""And without us?! We wanted to see!""Let's protest!""We want Aiko to spoil us!""We want to be smothered by her!""Yeeeeeeah!"

The Demonic Foxes immediately rose up to do this so-called protest, and the Demonic Saintess was now tasked with calming them down.

Her head throbbed as she glared at the Chameleon who caused this situation...

-----

Aiko arrived back on the vast, scorching plains.

[Primaeval Solar Spot]

This was the place with the best effects, and Aiko was looking forward to it.

"Grandpa?" Aiko gently muttered.

"What is it?" Grandpa Flame inside the [Fire-Fox Glass Vessel] popped up.

"I will be Evolving now." Aiko smiled gently.

"Ugh." Grandpa Flame's face distorted. He didn't like the sound of that at all!

"What?!" Aiko glared at him.

"Nothing..." He really dreaded what Aiko might do this time during her Evolution.

Will Phoenix fall down this time? Will the Dragons give her their reverse scales? He didn't want to think about it. Otherwise, he would have to ask Mei about special pain-killing Herbs for his 'head'.

"I feel like you are badmouthing me." Aiko narrowed her eyes.

"I don't have to do that." Grandpa Flame shrugged.

"Hey!" Aiko angrily stomped her feet.

"Yeah, yeah. Just don't call me out, okay?" Grandpa Flame didn't really want to join the 'fun'.

"Tsk." Aiko clicked her tongue, but she listened to her Grandpa, if he didn't want to be out. She would just store him in her tails!
