Chapter 458 – The Possessed Blood Fox – Part 1

The Blood Fox arrived in front of a sinister temple.

'If you came here willingly, there would be fewer issues along the way.' A voice inside her controlled her body.

'While you are of noble lineage, we already have our princess. Thus, you will eventually become her faithful servant.'

The Blood Fox had been dealing with this voice before, but she never imagined it would get this bad.

'Someone who is weaker than me can only control me due to unfortunate circumstances.' The Blood Fox was oddly calm.

'So what? Your fate has already been decided.' The voice sounded annoyed for some reason as if nothing was going his way.

'Indeed. I will take my team when cleansing my home. Don't worry. You are already on the list as a headless being.' The Blood Fox chuckled sinisterly. 'I wonder why he can't invade deeper?' She was slightly confused since the only thing it took over was her body, but it was unable to temper with her mind or Soul.

'As if.' The voice was very angry, but it couldn't get angry for too long.

The more it got angry, the less control over the Blood Fox he would have.

'I can't imagine what kind of shitty princess that is. I bet she is so ugly that the only thing she can do is to enslave others.' The Blood Fox laughed as she ridiculed him. She was having quite a lot of fun, not to mention...

'The Blood Abilities can be used like this... I never knew.' The Blood Fox narrowed her eyes.

This being that possessed her was a lot more skilled than she was. Before he would create anything out of blood, he would compress that blood to the best of his abilities, creating a small pseudo-core that strengthened the whole thing!

'But it's difficult...' The Blood Fox narrowed her eyes. Each pseudo-core for the given ability required a lot of concentration and blood to create.

If it was of bad quality, it would shatter in one use, but if you were skilled enough, you could create semi-permanent weapons with it.

They would be as strong as their real counterparts, but their durability would be lower.

This would allow the Blood Fox to not just create weapons but also tools!

'If I can't get somewhere, I can just make tools for it. What a marvellous idea.' The Blood Fox nodded. Her mind was oddly clear.

'And your Mistress. We are looking forward to her 'cooperation'.' The voice chuckled.

'Don't worry, she will cooperate well as she shoves things up your arse and wraps your intestines on a stick.' The Blood Fox laughed again. When it came to mental warfare, she was unrivalled, thanks to the many insane things that Aiko always did.

'You think we have no way to deal with her?' The voice rolled his eyes. 'Our home doesn't have a good atmosphere for normal Cultivators. She will be completely hopeless when she gets there!' He laughed haughtily.

The Blood Fox rolled her eyes again. 'I wouldn't be surprised if she completely wrecked your home.' She was completely unbothered by his words.

The large temple was made out of metallic blood. It felt like this place was especially for the Blood Fox and for her only.

'I hope there are some Treasures that I can take back...' The Blood Fox narrowed her eyes. 'Hey! Bastard! Look for Treasures, or I will start talking about how amazing my Mistress is!' She threatened, but it didn't seem like the voice was bothered.

'Very well, let's start when Aiko used assassin bodies as primitive weapons...' The Blood Fox started to animatedly narrate what Aiko did...

...

'Alright! Alright! I will look for Treasures, you damn Vixen!' The voice was painfully groaning like he had suffered deep mental damage. His control almost slipped a few times when he heard the things that her Mistress was willing to do.

'Let's not cross that Fox...' The voice swore to himself to avoid that crazy Fox at all costs!

'You forgot Treasure over there, don't forget to pick it up.' The Blood Fox chuckled sinisterly. 'Or would you like to hear about that time when Aiko crashed multiple flying ships~?'

'I get it! I get it, just be quiet!' The voice roared in pain as he went and collected vases, candles, and anything that remotely looked like a Treasure.

The main hall of this temple was large and full of blood beings.

The Blood Fox had to agree that it would be difficult for her to clear this place without his generous help. He also collected all the Treasures for later, which made her really happy.

The blood beings looked like normal Humans and Beasts. The only difference would be their colour.

Their skin and clothing were deep red since they were made out of blood.

Unfortunately for them, this guy was too good at controlling blood, so he pretty much waved his hand, and they became a pile of blood.

'See? This is the power of our princess!' He boasted haughtily again.

'Not that impressive...' The Blood Fox sighed as she 'shook' her head. She was so well-trained by Aiko's shenanigans that this didn't feel all that impressive.

'But it's bothering me that I can't spend time with Aiko...' She was already possessed before this Sacred Realm exploration, but at that time, she could somewhat control it.

Right now, she could not control it at all. Well, she could still deny him control for some time, but that would be only temporary.

The tug of war would worsen that way as she would grow weaker mentally, so she was just biding her time.

'This is what you would call Treasure! Not those half-assed things!' The voice spoke proudly.

In 'his' hands were incredibly soft and well-decorated gloves. Their colour was vivid red.

The Blood Fox glanced at it.

[Blood Moon Gloves][Rarity: Relic][Restriction: Blood Lineage/Demonic Lineage][Effects;Blood Manipulation: +50%Blood Control: +70%Blood Purification Ratio: +25%Defence Blood Abilities Efficiency: x50% Blood (Less Blood for the same effect)Locked: -Sealed: -][Owner: -]

The Blood Fox was shocked when she saw that description.

'This never happened before...' The Blood Fox narrowed her eyes. 'Did Aiko do something again?' She believed that this cause could only come from Aiko.

'Incredible, isn't it?!' The voice boasted again. 'It will more than double your fighting prowess, and you just have to wear it! This is what we call Treasures!' He seemed happy to find something like that.

'It's indeed a good thing.' The Blood Fox had to agree.

'Tsk. As if you would know its value.' The voice knew that the Blood Fox couldn't appraise for shit.

'You mean it makes my blood manipulation easier, the control is also improved and...' The Blood Fox snorted at him disdainfully as she scratched his ego with her words.

'How did you-?! You are reading my mind, right!? Damn Vixen!' The voice sounded even madder than before.

'You will pop a vein, geezer.' The Blood Fox snorted disdainfully again.

'Who are you calling a geezer?! I will have you know that I'm a very young and honourable person!' The voice was completely livid.

'As if, as long as you are above 100 years, you are an old geezer.' The Blood Fox didn't sugar-coat her words.

'You-!'

"Heh, so easy~" The Blood Fox regained her control, but she felt her body grow cold. 'I see, the emotions are being affected by that.' She slowly nodded her head.

'I will give these to Aiko later. They have restrictions, but I think we can deal with that later.' The Blood Fox slowly nodded.

'This place was also cleared, so I can just leave and find a place to gather more energy. I will not gather enough that I can Evolve, just in case this bastard does something, but I also want to be ready just in case Aiko does something.' The Blood Fox nodded. By her calculations, her current state would last for about a week.

'Maybe if I find some kind of mind-based technique, it would help me drive him off.' She raised her eyebrow. 'I will have to find another inheritance site in the meantime.'

The Blood Fox nodded slowly as she walked out of the blood temple. The blood distorted the building so much that it couldn't even be called a temple, just a questionable sludge of blood.

'I can feel a few energies drifting from different directions, but which should I pick...' The Blood Fox was more used to spotting stagnant Qi.

The more stagnant Qi there was, the more likely it was to spot a Treasure.

This was all thanks to the stupid voice with its loose mouth. If it didn't tell her how things worked with her strange Bloodline, she would be unable to deal with this situation.

'I wonder if I should aim for Princess...' The Blood Fox narrowed her eyes. If she ruled a whole race, then there was no need to compare to Mei.

'I will be able to crush her with the sheer amount of resources I will be able to give to Aiko, and the scale will naturally tip in my favour~' The Blood Fox hummed happily. They couldn't fight head-on. Otherwise, Aiko would be livid, but they could compete in different directions.

'Mei holds the edge over most things, but that might change in the future...' The Blood Fox narrowed her eyes as she walked towards a certain direction.

...

'Another temple...' The Blood Fox groaned. She was so sick and tired of temples that she was considering giving up.

"I heard that inside this place is Floating Stone." A certain Dragoness chuckled happily. She would be able to build a flying ship with that thing.

'Floating Stone...' The Blood Fox narrowed her eyes.

There were only 3 of them, but that Human looked like he was wrapped in strange energy.

'He is Heaven's Chosen. Avoid him.' The annoying voice came back.

'I thought it would take longer for you to come back.' The Blood Fox frowned.

'You are lucky that I can't take over your body right now. Otherwise, I would go and seduce him.' He clicked his tongue.

'What a petty revenge for not being able to maintain a clear state of mind.' The Blood Fox rolled her eyes.

'Say whatever you want, but I will have you listen to my commands!' The voice roared angrily.
