Chapter 414 – Witch Aiko and Poison

Aiko eventually gave up, since that 'wall' was too tough for her right now. She still had to try other things, but those could wait, as she was meeting the Patriarch again.

"What did you need?" Aiko felt like she was at home, which greatly disturbed Lian.

"We have people ready for the sealing." Lian's forehead throbbed at how nonchalant she was. 'I pity whoever is your partner.'

Lian was completely unaware that this was not Aiko's only form and that other forms were even worse than this one...

"Oh, good. I wanted to leave this place soon." Aiko nodded happily.

Lian was perturbed by that response. "Why do you want to leave? Don't you like Fang Jia?"

"Yeah, I do, but that doesn't make me money, so that I can try the Forging Cultivation path." Aiko shrugged nonchalantly again.

Lian narrowed her eyes. "Do you think you have what it takes to walk that path?"

"I don't know." Aiko shook her head. She was still in the testing period, so it was hard to say if she would stick with it.

The most notable thing about the Forging Cultivation path was that it was quite similar to Alchemy. This would allow Aiko to transition somewhat smoothly from one to the other.

Lian rolled her eyes. She didn't like this kind of nature in Foxes. Haughty about their achievements and constantly overestimate themselves.

"Shall we see the people who will have their poison sealed?" Lian wanted to get rid of this young Fox so that Fang Jia could stabilise her mind.

Fang Jie walked around just at the right time. "I will go too." She jumped happily. Thanks to Aiko, she was saved from Patriarch's gentle touch.

She was not yet ready to open up, so Aiko was like a shining saviour for her.

"You too?" Aiko tilted her head. She didn't understand why Fang Jie wanted to join.

"I want to see what happens with the poison inside one's body." Fang Jie knew that it was taboo to observe the insides of other Cultivators. That was also one of the reasons why they didn't try to observe where Aiko's inner poison was located.

However, in this situation, it was different. This time, it required their observation so they could throw that taboo out of the window!

"Oh, sure." Aiko didn't mind, since she was getting a lot more in return.

"Then let's go." Lian was not at all happy, since she remembered how this young Fox interrupted them...

...

They arrived at what looked like a prison. It was inside a mountain, there was magma flowing around, making things unbearably hot even for Aiko and her [Thermal Regulation].

But at the same time, this was a good opportunity to raise it, so she wouldn't be bothered by Forging Cultivation later.

They walked through the prison into the middle part, where it had a normal temperature.

"This is an observation deck, so that we can oversee all the prisoners without boiling alive." Lian proclaimed, and the young Fox nodded slowly.

Aiko was observing everything around them. This place was pretty much littered with Arrays and Inscriptions, Treasures and Talismans. It was a sight to behold.

"We have identified prisoners with poison, which range from mild inconvenience to life-threatening. So you can decide which to pick first." Lian was convinced that the young Fox would be haughty, but that was not the case.

"The easiest one." Aiko proclaimed as she sat down. Her fur was changing into black colour, and her nerdy air changed into a seductive one.

Lian stared speechlessly at this sudden change and didn't know what to say or think about it.

Lian shook her head before calling prisoners with the easiest poison in.

Aiko sat down on a chair and they seated that prisoner in front of her.

"You can do whatever you want; nobody in here is a saint, so you don't have to worry about Karma or anything." Lian didn't think that the young Fox knew about Karma, but just in case, she would say it.

"Oho~ there is a-!" The prisoner was quite naughty, but an invisible force ripped his tongue.

"Keep quiet, or I will twist your balls off." Aiko's eyes changed as she used [#### Eyes].

Normally, those eyes would be concealed under [Moon's Eyes], but she couldn't use [Moon's Eyes] in this form.

As such, her eyes turned into what looked like mouths with rows of teeth, but a moment later, they turned into hundreds of eyes.

Not just the prisoner, everyone was taken aback, and a sense of danger overwhelmed them.

Lian was more cautious than before, since she had never experienced this sensation. She read many books about eyes and their different powers, believing that the most powerful were Dragon's Eyes.

Yet in front of her was power unknown to her and possibly more powerful than what Dragons could create with their eyes.

She was curious, but also wary. This young Fox had too many secrets, which didn't bode well with Lian. She didn't want her daughter to get hurt or have her Soul injured.

Lian kept observing the young Fox closely, just in case she needed to act to protect Fang Jie.

"Was it that hard to keep shut?" Nightmare Aiko rolled her eyes. Her Divine Sense ripped his tongue, since she felt like he wouldn't be able to protect himself.

She also didn't want to touch his filthy body, which reeked from not being washed in years.

Aiko closed her eyes for a moment, and they changed again. All those eyes were trained on his body, observing him closely.

'It feels like I can see his blood vessels.' Aiko blinked a few times, each time her eyes changed colour.

'Is the green one poison? Is it inside his whole body?' Aiko tilted her head.

"The poison is inside his whole body?" Aiko asked the duo.

"En..." Lian felt a sense of desolation from those eyes.

"I see..." Aiko nodded and got back to work. She would not be sealing anything any time soon, as the most important thing was to move that poison somewhere where the seal would not be interrupted.

If she sealed it so that the poison would not worsen, but the body would likewise not get any better. If she wanted to extract as many benefits from this situation as possible, she needed to get the best possible results.

Moon Aiko was worried about Karma, but Nightmare Aiko wasn't. Thus, Moon Aiko made a deal that only criminals would be 'tested'.

This allowed Nightmare Aiko full rein without others questioning her means.

Nightmare Aiko focused her mind on that poison and tried to move it, but it didn't work. It felt like the poison was stuck to the body like glue, and her gentle fingers were unable to peel it.

Next, what she tried was to amplify the poison.

"HAAA HUUUU HU HAAAAAA!" The prisoner winced and thrashed around as his whole skin was changing colour, but without a tongue, he was unable to say anything.

Aiko used a bit of her sealed poison as a catalyst. At first, she wanted to transfer the poison, but that was impossible without breaking the seal.

However, using it as a catalyst to increase the potency of the poison was possible.

As such, Aiko tried to change the characteristics of the poison inside the prisoner's body until he died.

"That's not sealing..." Lian muttered, but didn't question the young Fox.

Aiko paused, and the prisoner plopped down lifelessly. The guards on the side shivered, but they didn't make a sound, just in case that young Fox would be after them.

They had to agree that she was gorgeous with an ample bosom, but even that couldn't overshadow her sadistic tendencies.

"Hm, interesting." Aiko concluded her short test.

"Can we get something stronger than the Inscription Poison?" She wanted to know if weaker catalysts could be used on stronger poisons.

"There are only a few of them." Lian narrowed her eyes.

"That is fine. I'm not testing sealing just yet." Aiko nodded.

Lian was puzzled, but she was never really proficient at sealing things, so she didn't question her means.

"Bring prisoner number 657 here." Lian ordered them, and they waited.

Not everyone in this place was a prisoner because of a crime that they committed.

They were in this prison because they were also a danger to their fellow Cultivators.

...

In front of Aiko was now a huge 'gorilla', a Human that was distorted by poison.

It was very obedient to the shock of others, since it loved to destroy things due to the pain the person was experiencing.

"Hmmm?" Aiko tilted her head. She once again looked with her [#### Eyes], but this time she saw something else.

'A mist? Fog? What is this?' Aiko tilted her head so much that she almost fell off her chair.

'I can easily manipulate it?' Aiko tilted her head to the other side.

She moved the poison into one place slowly and carefully. That huge body was also shrinking in front of everyone's eyes.

Everyone was shocked, especially Lian. She didn't expect this kind of outcome.

Aiko touched the monstrous body with her hand. This allowed her to speed up the process without damaging the internal organs that were on the brink of failure.

The body kept shrinking and shrinking, Aiko could even hear some guards gasp.

*Squish Squish*

Aiko opened her eyes. The soft sensation on her hand was familiar.

*Squish*

"Nice and squishy." Aiko licked her lips. "How are you feeling?" She kept her hand on her booba, since it was soft and cool.

The Qilin girl nodded, slightly disturbed about the place where the strange Fox was touching, but happy because she was no longer in pain.

"Hmmm." Aiko wondered if it was possible to seal it, but what if she took it out of the body? Would the body collapse?

Aiko tilted her head again and tried it. She slowly compressed that poison, so much so that the girl groaned from pain, but didn't try to stop the Fox in any way.

Aiko finished the compression. From liquid, it turned into a hard lump.

Her nails sharpened as she plunged two fingers into her body to extract that lump.

Everyone was shocked, and even Lian wanted to step in, but Aiko pulled a badly smelling 'Pill' out of her body.

"You can heal her, or kill her, since she is now useless to me." Aiko said, but that squish was certainly nice. She would be quite sad if they killed her.

"Thank you." One guard bowed deeply and immediately took the girl into his arms. "I will get you to a healer, sister." He then glanced at the Patriarch, but she just looked away.

He immediately ran out of the room, leaving them alone.

Aiko was holding that strange Pill between her fingers, waiting to see if something would happen to it.
