Chapter 385 – Aiko + Sling = Disaster

The Body Cultivator cupped his fists, but Aiko was quite blinded by him... literally.

"Why is his head so shiny?" Aiko's inner thoughts leaked and a beautiful vein appeared on his head.

"Whoa, you have a worm inside your head." Aiko marvelled at the wriggling vein that appeared on his head.

"Beasts..." He glared at Aiko like he was intending to kill her.

"Hm...." Aiko didn't notice it at all. "When are you going to start?" She tilted her head.

The Shining Body Cultivator's forehead twitched and he rushed at the Fox.

Aiko blinked a few times and frowned. 'He is not using any kind of chopping techniques.' She was bothered by this, since blunt attacks would be almost completely negated.

The Shining Head Body Cultivator met the Fox's barrier and put a dent into it.

He pounded the barrier again and again, putting more and more dents on it.

He was satisfied with his work, but over time he realised something was wrong with it.

Aiko yawned gently. "While you are flailing your arms, I will get some rest." She was tired of watching him try the same thing again and again.

Aiko took out her Storage Ring and the referee intended to call the Vicious Cub's loss, but what happened next stunned him.

That small Fox pulled out a large pillow- no, several of them and laid on one of them.

"It's not really that comfortable, but since you will be pounding at it for a while, it should do." Aiko yawned as she pulled out a blanket.

Everyone had question marks above their heads at the beginning and they even questioned the referee and why he was not interfering in this fight.

The referee jumped down without the Body Cultivator noticing, but the little Fox immediately looked at him.

"What? I don't want to keep standing while he just senselessly bangs his head against my [Moon's Crust]." Aiko clicked her tongue.

"It's not a Treasure?" The referee was speechless. "It's just normal bedding!"

"Well, duh. What else would it be?" Aiko rolled her eyes and shooed him away.

The referee's lips twitched, but since she was not doing something illegal, he couldn't really stop her.

Aiko went to bed sleeping, while the Stupid Shining Head Body Cultivator was raging at her.

Fortunately, Aiko didn't mind loud noises while she slept, so she pretty much fell asleep immediately.

The Elders expected Aiko to be pounded to death once she fell asleep, but to their shock, the barrier was maintained even when she was asleep!

[Sleeping]

It was one of Aiko's less used Skills since she didn't sleep all that often and when she did, she usually didn't use it since she would still accumulate some mental fatigue instead of recovering.

This meant that she would eventually grow really tired and she didn't like that.

However, now was the perfect time to use it, since it could maintain her barrier while reducing the mental strain on her mind. While it wouldn't completely erase it, she would gain more experience about using the [Moon's Crust] than if she was awake.

The Body Cultivator panted heavily. He was already getting tired of banging on that barrier. What was more, he soon realised that the barrier grew more and more stiff, making it harder to dent over time.

The Elder's lips twitched. Both Humans and Beasts pitied that unfortunate guy who was trying to get through that barrier.

Mei's lips likewise twitched. If Aiko went at it like this, it was less likely that they would be able to rob-

Mei looked at the enraged Human Elders and her lips twitched. It didn't seem like they would be backing out any time soon.

They probably hated that Aiko made fun of them and Mei had a feeling that Aiko was not finished with her shenanigans just yet.

...

4 hours passed and the Body Cultivator finally tired out.

He clicked his tongue and gained some distance. His Elder said that he shouldn't use this Technique unless absolutely necessary.

He unlocked his muscle's potential and immediately bulked up. His Elder was satisfied with this transformation and his Disciple's potential.

The Body Cultivator jumped high into the sky and came crashing down onto the Fox.

BOOOOOM

The wind whistled as the earth caved in under Aiko.

The actual barrier was likewise dented, and the fist approached Aiko's face.

It moved closer and closer, but never quite made it to Aiko completely. It was just short of it, but the Body Cultivator believed that it was an insurmountable wall in front of him.

Aiko breathed in a bit of dust through her nose.

Sneeze

Her cute sneeze charmed quite a few ladies, while upsetting the male counterparts. Sleeping little Vicious Fox was adorable beyond imagination and they all enjoyed it, but now that bastard woke her up!

The Body Cultivator was confused as to why his fellow disciples were glaring at him.

"Ugh." Aiko groaned since the pillows got messed up and it was getting a bit cold.

She yawned as she stood up. The barrier moved with her, throwing the Body Cultivator away.

"I haven't had enough sleep." Aiko protested and the glare towards the Body Cultivator intensified.

He was confused even more, but he had to surrender since he was out of energy.

"Couldn't you do it sooner?" Moon Aiko whined. She appreciated good rest and she also knew that it was important to maintain her body and mind's condition.

She was however rudely interrupted, so she was unable to appreciate the good rest.

"Nest. " Aiko slurred the word next as she yawned cutely.

This caused quite a few eyes to train on her. A lot of female Cultivators wanted to subdue the little Fox to make her into a Contracted Beast and play with her all day.

The male ones wanted the little Fox as a trophy to attract the female disciple's attention and drive them crazy.

A lot of Disciples begged their Elders to fight the little Fox, but eventually, the Northern Saint was picked.

The Saintesses frowned, since they wanted the little Fox for themselves and they also didn't want to hurt her.

They wanted to fight, but their Peak Elders were unwilling to do that.

The Saintesses felt like trophies on the wall, unable to do anything without permission from their Elders.

This spawned quite the animosity from them and later on this would cause the great Female Cultivator Revolution... but that is a story for another day.

...

"I'm Zan Yuan. Sword Cul-" Zan Yuan came with a haughty attitude, since this Fox only relied on her barrier.

As a Sword Cultivator, he was the perfect option to wreck this vixen!

It would also help to Contract her so that his Saintess would like him more.

"Skip." Unfortunately for him, Aiko had no interest in these kinds of games.

Aiko stretched gently and her small body moved quite swiftly. 'I can't fight against him like I did till now.' She believed that the sword would be able to bypass the benefits of her barrier.

'Even if it's Divine Ability from [Moon Fox Incarnate], it should have its limits.' Aiko wouldn't risk injury just because she was careless.

Zan Yuan was not agitated like others, his goal was clear and any distraction might prove fatal against this scheming vixen.

'If she grows up, she will be a beauty.' Saint Zan Yuan narrowed his eyes, and his goal was expanded.

Aiko didn't like his gaze at all, so she would definitely give him proper treatment.

'Let's try that.' Aiko nodded and dodged his sword.

Part of her barrier was cut, so it was obvious that her barrier was weak against slashes and piercing.

She was weak against Sword Cultivators, but fortunately, this one didn't have enough experience going against Beasts, so Aiko just chose to run away as she played with her tails.

Both the referee and Elders were confused about what that little Fox was doing, but then it happened.

Aiko pulled out her personal weapon out of her [Tails Storage], shocking everyone!

"""A sling?!""" Everyone looked ridiculously at the little Fox and her stupid weapon.

Sling was one of the weakest and slowest weapons one could get. It was not as powerful as Treasure Bows, not as fast as Treasure Spears. Overall, it was a completely useless weapon only fit for Mortals.

But...

Everything changed when Aiko got her hands on it.

She loaded a small pebble inside and swiftly swung it around. It almost immediately reached top speed, startling everyone.

Mei pursed her lips and prayed that Aiko wouldn't use too much Qi for it, otherwise she would be disqualified for killing her opponent.

The rock was freed from the sling and it immediately reached the maximum possible speed, shooting like a cannonball towards the Saint.

The Saint was shocked and blocked the small peddle so as not to cause any injuries.

His sword which received the blow creaked as the blow was much heavier than he expected. It even sent him flying backwards!

The Saint steadied his feet, intending to catch the Fox before she reloaded, but his eyes trained at a horrifying sight.

Pebble after pebble was flying towards him.

"Wha-?!" The Saint was completely speechless and jumped to the side.

Meanwhile, Aiko...

Ratatatatatatatatatata

"Hahahahahhahahahaha!" She was laughing happily, since she didn't expect this kind of efficiency.

'If I combine this with my tails...' She narrowed her eyes as yet another terrifying contraption appeared inside her mind.

9 slings all firing at the same time in the Nightmare Form and each sling would have a human head inside.

Aiko smiled from ear to ear when she imagined the destruction.

"Ack! Stop!" The Saint pleaded as he was jumping and rolling around trying to dodge those terrifying pebbles.

"Dance for me, bastard!" Moon Aiko was in the middle of transforming, but since Nightmare Aiko didn't want to play with opponents yet, she kept her usual intellect.

Aiko laughed happily as the Saint suffered miserably at her hands. Those eyes lusting for her turned into eyes full of horror.

Aiko kept throwing pebbles until he finally surrendered...
