Chapter 367 – Aiko’s Fight and Scolding
Aiko thrashed with the black ghost in the next room.
'I will definitely get scolded for the destruction that I'm causing.' Aiko frowned.
"Oi, you bastard! Stop thrashing around!" Aiko slapped the black ghost a few times.
"You will never get this Emperor!" The black ghost yelled at Aiko back.
"You are already dead you asshole!" Aiko roared back.
'Princess...' One of the Little Nightmares couldn't bear it and spoke.
"Don't call me Princess!" Aiko now roared at her Tails.
That Little Nightmare ignored Aiko's outburst like it was already used to it. 'There is no causality involved, so you won't be punished for eating the Ghost whole.'
Aiko paused and the black ghost stiffened.
"You will never get one alive!" It thrashed even more once he saw Aiko's wicked smile.
"Get away from me you fiend!" The black ghost thrashed more and more.
"Stop it!" Aiko roared. "Grandpa, burn him alive!"
"Why are you always calling me for work?" Grandpa Flame whined when he got out, but once he saw the black ghost... he pretty much mimicked Aiko's expression.
"Hello, you little fucker. Long time no see." Grandpa Flame smiled like the devil.
The black ghost paused to observe him. "And who the fuck are you-" It stiffened since it would never be able to forget the features of that asshole Dragon! "You-! NO! GET AWAY FROM ME! STOP BURNING ME!"
"BUUUUUURN YOU FUCKEEEEEEEEER!" The duo laughed happily as they burned the black ghost.
"I won't be able to finish it." Grandpa Flame narrowed his eyes.
Aiko narrowed her own eyes. "No worries."
"And to finish it off! Aiko's secret technique: FINAL FISTING!" Aiko said the last part seriously as she coated her fist with her Grandpa Flame and used her affinity with Ghosts to properly shaft this fucker.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" The black ghost yelled as it was melting into a puddle of black goo.
"Ew. That looks disgusting." Aiko recoiled from the sight.
"It's definitely disgusting." Grandpa Flame agreed with her.
"Eat it." Aiko trained her eyes on her [Little Nightmares].
They visibly stiffened, but since it was ordered, they had to do it.
"You are evil." Grandpa Flame recoiled.
"Do you want to have a taste too?" Aiko narrowed her eyes.
"Keep eating, don't make her wait!" Grandpa Flame willingly joined Aiko in whipping the tails.
"Hehe~" Aiko hummed. "Now that it's finished we can go back!" But her body stiffened once she saw the destruction she caused. This would be very costly and would also earn her scolding...
Aiko didn't want that! So she delayed coming back.
...
"Do you know what wrong you did?" Mei was fuming at Aiko with a calm face.
"I'm so sorry for destroying the rooms and the surrounding rooms." Aiko cried silently. Mei was never so harsh before!
"Pft." Ming Xiuying giggled softly.
Mei immediately turned into a tomato again and wanted to scold Aiko even more, but Ming Xiuying interrupted this.
"Thank you for helping me." Ming Xiuying bowed towards the cute Fox.
"You are welcome!" Aiko felt proud of her work.
"Don't feel proud you rascal! You don't even know what wrong you did!" Mei yelled at Aiko.
"I already apologised for the rooms! I will even pay for it!" Aiko glared back, she felt like Mei was being unreasonable.
Ming Xiuying was having the time of her life. This duo fit perfectly. The stoic Mei with the abnormal Aiko. It was the greatest pair made under the Heavens!
"Rascal! Just wait when we are alone!" Mei threatened Aiko.
"What? Will you bully me again in bed?!" It was not the least effective on Aiko.
"W-what?!" Mei stuttered with a red face and immediately covered Aiko's lips. "W-what are you saying! That never happened."
Aiko glanced at the duo and Mei turned around to have a look too.
Both of them had an overly warm expression, one that suggested things.
Ming Xiuying nudged her husband and he coughed gently.
"Do not worry, I will move you to a room with good soundproofing." Old Ming smiled from ear to ear and Ming Xiuying did the same.
"It's not like that-!" Mei couldn't believe what was happening.
"It's fine, we were at that stage before too." Ming Xiuying had a dreamy expression.
"There is nothing to be ashamed about." Old Ming butted in. "We liked to play games too." He nodded at them with a sweet smile.
"It's not like that...!" Mei was almost crying from the current situation. She would not let Aiko live this down!
...
"Do you want some ice on it?" Ming Xiuying felt that Mei was too unreasonable.
"Yes, please." Aiko rubbed her red-swollen cheeks.
"She doesn't need ice." Mei replied 'coldly'.
"Here is some ice." Old Ming gave Aiko the ice.
"You-!" Mei glared at them.
"You need to remember to take proper care of your partner." Ming Xiuying 'explained' to Mei.
"What...?" Mei felt like she was being scolded for this.
"It's not good to abuse your partner." Old Ming agreed with Xiuying and Aiko nodded with them.
"Huh...?" Mei felt like everyone went against her!
"Ming Xiuying." Mei said sternly.
"Yes, Mei?" Ming Xiuying smiled from ear to ear.
"Would you be able to endure it in my place?" Mei asked about what Aiko was shouting and the ruckus she was causing.
"She is cute." Ming Xiuying nodded happily.
Mei was completely speechless, the Aiko disease was spreading!
"Why me." Mei groaned unhappily.
"You started our relationship, you know?" Aiko smiled mischievously.
"What?" The pair's eyes sparkled. They obviously wanted to know more.
"Aiko!" Mei yelled out.
"I can't believe it." Ming Xiuying said, but her eyes shined even more.
"I was really badly injured and Mei took care of me." Aiko proudly described the whole situation.
"Ohhhhhhhhh!" The pair listened and nodded like a pair of chicks.
"And later on she said: Be my (servant)!" Aiko proclaimed, leaving things here and there.
"Aiko!!!" Mei yelled out and abruptly stood up.
"It fits the stoic Mei, right?" Ming Xiuying nudged her husband.
"It's definitely something she would do." Old Ming agreed.
"Not you two too!" Mei yelled out as she stormed away.
"Awwww... We embarrassed her." Ming Xiuying pouted.
"It's been a while since she acted normal like this." Old Ming nodded.
"Wouldn't that be close to 10,000 years?" Ming Xiuying asked gently.
"Surely it has not been that long?" Old Ming didn't believe it was that long.
"Hmmmmm..." Ming Xiuying pondered on it. "I don't remember my age."
"Just read your bone age!" Old Ming sulked at his partner.
Ming Xiuying loved to tease him like this, but he didn't really dislike it.
"But in all seriousness." They straightened their backs.
""You can't say that stuff in public."" They said in sync, startling Aiko.
"Huh?" Aiko was taken aback and the pair's eyes shined in different light. She remembered that light, the only other person who could reproduce it was Lady Liu during her classes!
Aiko wanted to book it, but the duo would not let her.
"It's fine to play with your partner." Ming Xiuying smiled like a devil.
"But you shouldn't embarrass them too much." Old Ming added.
Aiko felt a chill down her spine, but there was no escaping it...
More classes for her!
...
"I'm sorry for what I did. I didn't want to embarrass you..." Aiko looked completely exhausted, like someone rolled over her again and again until her Soul left her body.
Mei was startled and felt strange.
"I will try not to do it again." Aiko didn't approach Mei and kept her respectful distance.
Mei was shocked by this and nudged Aiko to sit. She had conflicting emotions about this.
On one side, she was really embarrassed by Aiko, but on the other, she felt more alive when that kind of chaos surrounded her. She felt like she could live in the present, but that didn't mean she could live with that kind of shame.
"Just... try to reduce it and don't do it in public." Mei said softly.
"En." Aiko nodded obediently.
'What happened to her?' Mei wondered what happened to Aiko when she left that table.
...
The pair of Foxes returned and Ming Xiuying had a cheerful conversation with Aiko's team.
Jun was long forgotten since he was not cute enough in her eyes...
"Aiko, come here." Ming Xiuying waved at Aiko.
Aiko's body straightened and stiffened.
Mei now understood what was happening. "Take it easy and you are supposed to rest." She narrowed her eyes.
Ming Xiuying was the next one to stiffen. "I-I'm feeling alright!" She pouted.
"Oh right, you wanted us to come with you, right?" Ming Xiuying clapped her hands happily.
"If possible." Mei nodded gently. She wished to recruit them so that she had more sway over Aiko.
"That is fine, but I will need to recover." Ming Xiuying giggled. She was still weakened due to those Forbidden Runes.
"That is fine." Mei chuckled. "We are here for the Tournament anyway."
"Really?!" Ming Xiuying was shocked. "I pity your opponents." She shook her head.
Aiko curiously twitched her ears. Mei was definitely strong, but she shouldn't be strong enough to make it a walk in the park, right?
Ming Xiuying giggled at Aiko's expression.
"Since I will be part of the team I suppose I will be taking care of her tails? You always hated to groom them." Ming Xiuying looked at Aiko and Mei alternatively.
Suddenly a glare was shot at her from the Blood Fox.
"Oh my, it seems I can't do that. How about we play when she is bored?" Ming Xiuying was curious about what the dynamic between Mei and Blood Fox was, but she was soon surprised even more.
The pair of Twins gazed at her with narrowed eyes.
"Oh my, I didn't know your partner was building a harem, I will have nothing to do." Ming Xiuying laughed at Mei who was glaring at her.
"Just help your husband in the kitchen or something." Mei didn't like that everyone was after Aiko, so she would have to deal with that later.
"I can definitely do that. I like sweets." Ming Xiuying smiled from ear to ear.
"I didn't mean you to be a taste tester!" Mei immediately scolded her.
"Awwww!" Ming Xiuying pouted at Mei. "Fine, I suppose I can help my husband with the prep work." She looked away like she was the lazy version of Aiko.
