Chapter 348 – Upgrading Skills

The next step would be her Abilities and Skills.

This would take a long time, since she had too many of them, but fortunately she gathered enough Moonlight Essence to last her for quite some time!

[Agility Mastery: Mastered][Can't Upgrade: Not in Immortal World]

[Intention Perception: Mastered][Can't Upgrade: Divine Sense not Mastered]

[Basic Presence Concealment: Mastered]V[Presence Concealment] = 1,000 Skill PointsOr[Nightmare Concealment] = 20,000 Skill PointsOr[Nature Concealment] = 50,000 Skill Points

"Finally something I can upgrade!" Aiko rolled her eyes.

"Nightmare Concealment can only be used around Shadows, or Dark places. Moreover, if I visit someone's 'Dream' I can also conceal myself from being found out." Aiko nodded gently. She quite liked this one.

"Meanwhile, the Nature Concealment works by adjusting the Energy inside my body to match that of the surroundings. That sounds a lot more powerful, but I don't want someone invading my Dreams, so I will choose the cheaper option." Aiko swayed her finger.

She remembered that time at the beginning when she was overtaken by the Demonic Sense and how she relished in it, but the scariest thing was when she dragged someone into the shadows. The screams and agony that were manifested were bone-chilling at best.

Moreover, if this could be extended into dreams. Protection was required, or she might regret it later!

[Universal Recovery: Mastered][####: Too much Providence consumption per Hour.]

"Oho, so... I'm pretty much turning someone's providence into my nutrients.' Aiko nodded gently. She would have to get rid of this later, just in case it would start consuming her providence!

[Crushing Bite: Mastered]V[Enhanced Crushing Bite] = 1,000 Skill PointsOr[Nightmare Bite] = 50,000 Skill PointsOr[Playful Bite] = 1 Skill Points

"Nightmare Bite can also be used by my [Little Nightmares], so it's very useful." Aiko was overjoyed about this one, since her Tails would have to either bash her enemies or try to chew them alive. Neither of which was a really sure-fire way to win.

"Playful bites are all about... arousal..." That gentle smile was gone the moment she read a bit deeper.

"No way will I take it even if it costs just 1 Skill Point!" Aiko had a blush on her face. It was fortunate that she was in her Moon Form, as her other form would immediately buy it to improve her 'playtime'.

[Lacerate: Mastered][Can't Upgrade: No Sword Intent]

"The same old thing. I have no intention of using Swords, so I will just ignore this one." Aiko nodded gently.

[Sprint: Mastered][Redundant. Do you wish to sell it?]

"What can I get?" Aiko asked curiously.

[If you sell enough Mastered Skills, you will be able to earn the Right to freely merge Skills for a cheaper price. Additionally you can buy most, but not all skills again at level 1 also known as a 'reset', and achieve mastery again.]

"Oho~!" Aiko's eyes widened. She had limited time that she could combine Skills through items and since the system was too busy correcting itself, she didn't get any birthday gifts yet!

"Okay, Sell [Lacerate] and [Sprint]." Aiko nodded happily.

[Skill Combining: 2/??]

"I wish I could see that number." Aiko lamented, but now she got rid of unnecessary Skills.

[Quick Double Jump: Mastered]V[Enhanced Quick Double Jump] = 1,000 Skill PointsOr[Wind Jump] = 15,000 Skill Points

"The Wind Jump allows me to jump as many times as I want using the Energy from my Beast Cores. So while it does rely on Energy, it's much better than just the Enhanced version." Aiko pondered on it for a bit more, but this was really the best decision.

[Camouflage: Mastered]

"Let's reset this one, as my Shadow Form will be able to Level it up quickly." Aiko nodded gently.

[Sleeping: Mastered][####: ####]

"Another bug..." Aiko sighed.

[Stealth: Mastered]

"Reset." Aiko didn't even hesitate.

[Dark Vision: Mastered]

"Hmmm... Aiko narrowed her eyes." The Enhanced version was not useful at all, but she also didn't want to reset it. She would just have to keep it as is...

[Linguistics: Mastered]V[Language of the Mortal World] = 10,000,000 Skill Points

"Absurd, but very useful later..." Aiko narrowed her eyes. She would definitely buy this later!

[Enhanced Climbing: Mastered]

"Reset? Hmmmm." Aiko didn't really need this since she already had her Moon and Nightmare movement Abilities...

[Skill Combining: 5/??]

[Enhanced Basic Senses: Mastered][Can't Upgrade: Only Combinations are allowed!]

[#### Divine Sense] = [Enhanced Basic Senses] + [Dark Vision] + [Intention Perception] for 1,000,000 Skill Points

"Don't have enough for this one, but #### is always good even if it's censored, or at least that was the case so far." Aiko nodded gently.

[Brilliant Mind: Mastered][Can't Upgrade: Not in Immortal World]

[Picturesque Beauty: Mastered][Can't Upgrade: Not in Immortal World]

[Four Leaf Clover: Mastered]V[Five Leaf Clover] = 1,000,000 Skill Points

"Why is everything so gosh-darn expensive?!" Aiko whined openly.

[Assassin Mastery: Mastered][Can't Upgrade: Knowledge or Skills Required]

[Dexterous Fingers: Mastered]V[Heavenly Fingers] = 100,000 Skill PointsOr[Pleasure Fingers] = 1 Skill Points

"I'm not even going to look at the other one." Aiko refused to indulge the horny system any longer!

[Inscription Mastery: Mastered][Can't Upgrade: Must be Combined!]

[Arts Mastery] = [Inscription Mastery] + [Alchemy Mastery] + [Assassin Mastery] for 100,000,000 Skill Points.

[You have used the Skill Combination Coupon.]

[Divine Skills: [Arts Mastery: Lv.1 (Inscription, Alchemy, Assassin)]]

"Whoa! New type!" Aiko's eyes shined. It's been a while since she got another Skill Category!

"Arts Mastery was a no-brainer, since it would free up the space for me and allow me to achieve greater heights!" Aiko smiled gently, she was happy about this purchase.

[Greater Poison Resistance][Can't Upgrade: Refine more Poisons]

Aiko felt satisfied with her work. This would hopefully allow her to last until her next Evolution.

She might buy some things later, since she still had a lot of Skill Points left over.

Aiko stretched her body as her hair slowly turned black.

"What will I do now~" Aiko didn't really ponder on it and ran outside.

"Let's seek out Mei again, maybe she has cooled down and is ready for the second round?" Aiko smirked as she dashed towards her team's domain.

She passed by some Cultivators, but she ignored them since she wanted to see Mei first.

...

"Mei~!" Aiko barged in on Mei while she was changing clothes. "Kyaa~!" Aiko squealed in delight, covering her face with her hands, but keeping her fingers splayed.

Mei rolled her eyes and kicked Aiko out with her Divine Sense.

"I really want to fluff her tails." Aiko sighed, Mei was still too weak in this form...

Aiko would have to 'teach' her well in order for Mei to get stronger.

She smirked to herself until Mei pulled her cheek.

"What are you smirking about?" Mei narrowed her eyes.

"Nothin~" Aiko said 'innocently'. "Let's play~!" She proclaimed.

"No." Mei declined.

"Pretty please~? I will show you something cool?" Aiko pleaded.

Mei was momentarily tempted, but still rejected Aiko's 'play'.

Aiko clicked her tongue. "I will show you anyway!" She used her system to transfer the [The Ever Shaping Cauldron] to Mei, as she did with Fang Jia.

Mei almost fainted from the amount of information and the fact that it was indeed THAT Cauldron!

Aiko gently 'escorted' Mei onto the bed, while she was processing the information.

'Thighs...' Aiko narrowed her eyes and gently laid on them.

'Squishy.' Aiko rubbed her face on that lap and waited for Mei to 'return to earth'.

...

"Aiko..." Mei sighed. She really didn't need something like this, since she didn't have the necessary materials for it and it would only burden her mind.

Aiko pouted. "I want to play! Let's play!" The idea of a 'play' was different from what one would normally expect.

Fortunately, Mei was aware of that fact and rejected Aiko again.

"I need to meditate on this and choose the right material-" Mei really wanted to reject Aiko, but she was one step quicker.

Aiko slammed the Divine Steel in front of Mei.

"-material- material- Where in the world did you find this material?!" Mei couldn't believe her eyes, since this material was supposed to be located only in the Immortal World!

Aiko loved that reaction, so she pulled out the Divine Meteorite in order to shock Mei again.

"..." Mei's body stiffened.

"Oh shit. Mei fainted." It took a while for Aiko to realise that Mei fainted, as she had managed to do so with open eyes.

"But what am I going to do now..." Aiko groaned. She really wanted to play! 'Maybe I should feed Grandpa- Turtle!'

Aiko's eyes lit up, it was time to punish that turtle for causing this whole mess!

Aiko gently laid down Mei, so she was able to rest and barged outside.

"Turtle!" Aiko's eyes were lit.

"Yes?" The Black Tortoise was unaware that Aiko was after his rear and since Aiko was too beautiful. He was completely oblivious to the danger!

"Give me your rear!" Aiko roared, ready to pounce at him.

"Yes-? No!" The Black Tortoise was confused for a moment before he yelled out and boarded his wave.

Aiko laughed behind him as she chased after him.

The other Beasts likewise recovered somewhat in order to enjoy that sight.

"I told him that he would get it for trying to woo Mei." The Three-Legged Crow snorted disdainfully.

The White Tiger innocently licked his paws. He was the one who created the biggest mess, so he would act like an obedient pet in front of Aiko so that he wouldn't end up like the Black Tortoise.

Aiko kept chasing that turtle for a long time, until he took to the skies.

"I don't want to get hurt, little Fox. So let's be frien- Why are you here?!" The Black Tortoise who was trying to be magnanimous and fearless suddenly stiffened.

It was because Aiko was standing in front of him, kicking the air in order to match his altitude.

The Black Tortoise booked it once more in order to avoid Aiko!
