Chapter 274 – Hugs and Massage Chairs

Aiko was now running around in both her big and small forms. It seems like she had recovered all of her Vitality or at least a good enough portion, that she didn't need to sleep constantly any more.

Mei was also overjoyed, since it meant she could start teaching Aiko Alchemy again, but she still postponed it. It was important for Aiko to finish those Massage Chairs, wealth was needed to fund her studies after all.

Mei also went and procured special covers for the Massage Chairs, so the previous 'incident' wouldn't happen again.

Moreover, thanks to Dai Lu's loose mouth, every Elder was now expecting the return of the Massage Chair.

This made Mei happier, but also more concerned. She didn't expect such a reaction even from the Elders.

"What did you tell them?" Mei couldn't help but ask.

"Nothing much. Just that it's incredible." Dai Lu tilted her head and Mei clicked her tongue.

"They probably believe that your health got better because of it." Mei sighed. It would be a bother to explain it later.

...

Aiko was constructing the first new Massage Chair. Thanks to being healed and having her Abilities unlocked in her small form. She should be able to finish this thing in a very short time.

But she still took her time, so the quality didn't drop.

At first, she had trouble with applying the Inscription Ink. Her hands were too slow in her big form, and too fast in her small form. So she had to train in her small form in order to be capable of applying the Inscription Ink evenly again.

That was a very important part of inscribing Inscriptions. Even the distribution of the Ink matters lest you want to end up with an inferior result.

If the Inscription Ink was too thin, the power, in this case Qi, would overwhelm the Ink, causing it to burn away, and fail. Meanwhile, if it was too thick, the Qi would gather in that place and it could explode badly. Similar to Aiko throwing Spirit Stones as rocks.

Aiko still felt discomfort in her arm. It looked normal and was probably healed, but the feeling of strangeness persisted.

Aiko could only wait and see if it fixes itself or if this condition would be there 'forever'.

Mei sometimes observed Aiko and nudged the previously poisoned arm. She would then nod and leave. Mei never said anything about it and didn't look sad, so Aiko's arm was probably alright, right?

Aiko didn't know...

...

Aiko was able to finish the first Massage Chair. She was concerned about her craftsmanship since she hadn't inscribed in quite some time.

"Is Grandmaster alright?" Aiko suddenly asked. She was not willing to use Mei as a test subject any more, since she had the feeling that Mei would scold and punish her.

Mei tilted her head. "Won't the Grandmaster break it?"

"..." Aiko didn't think of that.

But thanks to the lessons from the Blood Fox and the fact that she couldn't fool around... her mind changed greatly.

"But can't we use Grandmaster as an advertisement for it?" Aiko tilted her head.

Mei pursed her lips. "We could definitely do that." Aiko was changing day by day, or at least the big Aiko.

The small Aiko would still try to be indulgent and since she was small... Everyone indulged her.

With big Aiko it was different. She could not use the same movements since it was bad for her surroundings...

"Then we should have the Grandmaster test all the Massage Chairs and then advertise it as: Rigorously tested by the Grandmaster or The Grandmaster loved the Massage Chair after testing it." Aiko said to Mei.

Mei liked this kind of Aiko more, since she was more independent. She nodded gently. "I will call Grandmaster later." That is not to say that Mei hated the small Aiko, both of them had different perks and likes that Mei could appreciate.

"Okay." Aiko nodded, not knowing about what others thought. "I will start building another one..." She suddenly turned to Mei. "For how many more Massage Chairs did you order parts again?"

"There are 19 more, but some might possibly get destroyed..." Mei said with a smile, but Aiko quivered.

"Can I do... less?" Aiko didn't like too much repetition.

"Sure, but that would mean you would do Alchemy with me." Mei said, smirking. The Princess was not yet ready, her progress was slow, but still steady. This made Mei both happy and sad.

The Princess would have a good foundation, but her progress would be slower than her peers...

'It's good that almost nobody knows about her.' Mei thought. The Blood Fox's brother knew about the Princess and was shocked that she could walk around freely. Especially around these parts.

Humans would always be imprisoned and then imminently wait for the one who captured them to devour them, whether they like it or not. That's why the 'welcoming' tests that the Fox Village did were so important. It was the steady supply of Humans that allowed them to advance the Foxes' maturity.

Mei... hated this part. That is why she did everything to exclude herself and Aiko from it. She didn't want her little cute servant to have sex with others.

Mei also worked hard on the art of squeezing Souls, so that she could teach Aiko how to do it more efficiently.

Squeezed Souls lost quite a lot of Energy, so Aiko would get a lot less from those Souls.

"That is fine!" Aiko proclaimed and before Mei could recover from her shock, Aiko was already handcrafting another Massage Chair.

Mei shook her head. It was nice that Aiko was back. The days were less boring and more colourful, but thanks to her big form, they were also less bothersome.

She didn't have to clean after Aiko's shenanigans. 'There will be more trouble once we start Alchemy, but that should be alright...' Mei didn't believe it would be as bad as Aiko causing disaster after disaster...

Oh, how wrong she was...

...

The classes with the Blood Fox were very productive, so much so that Yuxi was pouting from lack of attention from Aiko. She needed to replenish the Aiko juice in her body, but both Yuxi and Aiko were too occupied to meet.

"You are pouting again." Wanshu said. She was likewise grumpy since she didn't have any time alone with Yuxi. The Grandmaster was too enthusiastic about training... She didn't dislike it, but she was still upset that they didn't have alone time.

"We should beat up Grandmaster." Wanshu clicked her tongue. She noticed that she didn't need any drugs to sate her other bloodthirsty half. Yuxi explained that it was thanks to Aiko's influence, but Wanshu was not so sure about that.

How would that even make sense? One Fox that could calm all Demonic Foxes? That's unheard of!

Wanshu only shook her head. She could not badmouth the Mistress that saved her. Moreover, the Legendary Jade Fox and the Grandmaster were also on her side.

"Hello~" The Grandmaster was very giddy and the duo frowned. It seemed like it was time for more training...

...

The Blood Fox finished another class with Aiko. It was quite different from the etiquette that Lady Liu taught her, since she taught a different form of etiquette for Aiko compared to Blood Fox and Yuxi.

The Blood Fox was now teaching what Liu hadn't taught Aiko...

"Hug!" The class was finished, so Aiko reverted to her spoiled self.

The Blood Fox sighed, but still hugged Aiko. She hugged her, so often that she built up immunity against that sweet, sweet scent. That is not to say she was no longer affected. There were still issues with it, but the Blood Fox was not hugging Aiko long enough that it would matter...

"Hehe~" Aiko rubbed her face on those soft pillows. She no longer minded their size, as Aiko was similarly large. They didn't feel overwhelming or threatening any more.

"We will progress more later." The Blood Fox said gently. When Aiko tried to act with etiquette, it was as if she was a completely different person. Needless to say, it was incredible, so the Blood Fox was able to speed up their lessons. "As long as you keep it up in your big form, we can halt our lessons." She smiled gently, but Aiko suddenly whined.

"But I want to get more hugs..." Aiko pouted.

"You can get them even when we are not learning." The Blood Fox lifted her eyebrow. This was kind of weird?

"But it's nicer after hard work?" Aiko tilted her head. She didn't understand why she felt like that.

The Blood Fox nodded, surprised that Aiko was like this.

"Well~" Aiko hummed. "You can teach me more later, right?" Aiko's eyes shined.

"Sure..." The Blood Fox could still teach her about fans, but that was about it...

"Cool~" Aiko hummed, separating from the Blood Fox.

...

Aiko finished another Massage Chair. It's been a while since she started, but she has already completed 5 of them. Moreover, the latter Massage chairs had much better parts, much more complete and closer to the blueprint, so Aiko didn't need to adjust them as much and could focus only on the Inscriptions.

At this time, Mei returned with a Ring around every one of her fingers.

Aiko blinked a few times. She lost way too many Storage Rings that she wanted to take a few from Mei.

Mei noticed Aiko's piercing gaze and turned around. "If you do well, you will get rewards." She smiled gently.

Aiko's eyes burned. She was looking forward to the Alchemy lessons with much more excitement!

...

The Massage Chairs were lined next to each other and the quality was obvious.

"He really did improve." Mei muttered. Parts that the Bronze Fox made later looked much better. She then turned towards the Grandmaster. "Dai Lu, go test them."

"Why does it feel like you are trying to use me as a meaty test subject?" Dai Lu suddenly had a foreboding feeling about this.

"Just go." Mei rolled her eyes.

The Grandmaster sat in the Massage Chairs and Aiko operated them from afar.

"This won't blow up, right?" Dai Lu asked with a concerned expression. She tried to read their minds, but was shocked. "What do you mean they might blow up?!"

The duo from afar had evil grins on their faces. If one came at this point they would believe that two mad scientists were experimenting on the Grandmaster... and they would not be entirely wrong.

The Massage Chair buzzed like always.

"Oh..." Dai Lu felt that movement and vibration lightly.

It got more powerful over time until the Grandmaster started melting.

"This is niiiice~" Dai Lu hummed in a strange voice since the vibration made it difficult for her to speak...

Aiko was already operating it at full power and nothing blew up. She was satisfied with this and turned it off. The most powerful setting was using multiple Spirit Stones per minute and she didn't want to waste too much on it...

"Let's test the others." Mei smiled and Aiko nodded.

Dai Lu was a bit shaky from the vibration. "Just give me a moment to recover." She smiled wryly. This was not that bad at all!
