Chapter 217 – Gifts
Aiko double-jumped before falling down, which propelled her away from the building which she was supposed to fall and crash into.
Aiko didn't look back, as her main goal was to reach Lady Liu and give her the gift.
She dashed from rooftop to rooftop, impressed by the distance she was thrown by Chen Shi.
It felt amazing that someone could throw so far, but at the same time... what was the point?
Most Beasts would surely survive that fall with their thick skins and/or Skills.
Likewise, it's unlikely that Aiko would truly die from that, which confuses her.
Why go through all that trouble when he could just slap her?
'Don't tell me he was intimidated by my bites?' Aiko tilted her head. This option was very unlikely and she didn't believe it for a second.
'No way that can happen.' Aiko snorted.
She jumped over one last roof and arrived at Lady Liu's courtyard.
It was peaceful and quiet. Chen Shi was nowhere to be seen.
"I have been expecting you." Lady Liu startled Aiko since she was silent like a Ghost.
Aiko breathed a sigh of relief once she noticed that it was just Lady Liu sipping her tea with her team.
"Mmm." Aiko hummed and skipped a few steps, arriving before them.
"But I didn't expect you to stink yourself up again so soon." Lady Liu glared at Aiko and Aiko shyly looked away.
Aiko didn't expect that she would be affected by that smell, well... she didn't think she would have to deal with that smelly bastard!
"Things happened." Aiko hummed meekly.
"I know." Lady Liu nodded, but still glared at Aiko. "We will take a few more lessons in etiquette, since it seems like you have forgotten some of them during your 'spree'."
"Haha." Aiko awkwardly laughed, but she was dragged away by Lady Liu.
...
A few days later, a haggard Aiko emerged from the building. Chen Shi was already waiting outside.
Chen Shi speechlessly stared at the rascal who was supposed to be punished by the Snake kin.
His aim was accurate and she was supposed to crash into their building. Yet for some reason she emerged from Lady Liu's building? How is that possible?
"Chen Shi." Lady Liu smiled and Chen Shi shivered.
"Yes, Lady Liu." Chen Shi bowed like a lowly servant.
"We will talk later about your attitude, since I have just finished with her." Lady Liu nudged Aiko.
Aiko whined, but she couldn't protest in front of Chen Shi. He would absolutely laugh at her if she did!
Aiko put on a tough front, but was slapped by a wooden fan by Lady Liu.
"Posture, attitude." Lady Liu said sternly.
Aiko straightened her back, but still frowned at him.
Lady Liu sighed and shook her head. This is the best she could do in such a short time.
"Yanqi." Lady Liu flashed a smile, but the intent was not quite the same.
Fortunately, the naive Yanqi thought that Lady Liu was welcoming her.
Yanqi immediately gave Lady Liu a hug, making Chen Shi glare at her.
"Do you want a hug too~?" Yanqi opened her arms, ready to invite Chen Shi, but was slapped similarly to Aiko by Lady Liu.
"Inside, now."
"""Yes, Lady Liu.""" Everyone replied politely, not wanting to go against the somewhat upset Lady Liu.
This was a good idea, since Lady Liu would absolutely drag them inside by their ears to give them an earful.
Everyone sat around the room. Chen Shi was as far as possible from Aiko, while as close as possible to Lady Liu.
In other words, he was in a pretty awkward position next to the grinning Yanqi.
"Awww, did you miss-" Yanqi wanted to tease Chen Shi.
*Whack*
"I'm sorry." Yanqi lowered her head after being slapped by Lady Liu’s wooden fan.
Lady Liu snorted. "I heard that you will be leaving soon and that you have gifts for me." Lady Liu recounted the rumours.
Aiko and the two nodded gently.
"Be careful outside, it's a very nasty and hostile place. Don't trust anyone, not even your own kin. Foxes can be mischievous, but most of them on this continent are very lustful." Lady Liu said gently. "That won't change on the main continent, instead of being lustful, most of them will be very manipulative and exploitative."
"You should get as strong as possible before your spokesman arrives." Lady Liu gave them some tips.
"Only your strength can get you to the mainland. Of course, Skills can get you there too, but it's much harder than with personal strength. So improve that first." She gently guided them towards the path that had the highest chance of success.
"Now I have said everything I wanted." Lady Liu giggled and her eyes shined. "Gifts~" She hummed like a little girl.
The Umbra Fox was first. She presented Lady Liu with a very light elegant, yet beautiful white dress.
Lady Liu kissed Umbra's cheek and Umbra turned red.
Lady Liu giggled. The next one was the Blood Fox. She was not expecting much since she knew that the Blood Fox had it hard...
Blood Fox gave Lady Liu a small box. Nobody knew what was inside except for the Blood Fox.
Blood Fox whispered something into Lady Liu's ears, so quietly that even Aiko couldn't hear her.
Lady Liu's eyes shone like stars. "Thank you~"
She kissed the Blood Fox on the cheek, making the Blood Fox giggle.
The last one was Aiko...
"This is my gift!" Aiko presented her gift.
Lady Liu immediately snapped towards Yanqi.
Yanqi for some reason looked away.
"Yanqi~" Lady Liu said Yanqi's name sweetly, making Yanqi turn towards her.
"Come here~" Lady Liu nudged Yanqi with her voice.
Yanqi knew she shouldn't come within Lady Liu's reach, but that sweet voice was irresistible.
Aiko was confused, until...
"Auauauau.""Auch."
Both of them had their cheeks pinched.
"What are you teaching the kids?" Lady Liu narrowed her eyes and glared at Yanqi.
"It's her gift." Yanqi whined pitifully.
Lady Liu pouted and let them go. She snorted unhappily. "You are ruining this whole-"
Lady Liu paused her sentence since Aiko sniffled pitifully. Naturally, she was not a heartless person and she felt somewhat bad about reprimanding her.
"I suggest that you hear Aiko out." The Blood Fox said gently.
Lady Liu was confused. That gift was absolutely a toy from Yanqi!... Right?
Lady Liu coughed and the Blood Fox took the reins. "Introduce your gift, Aiko."
"My gift is all about muscle relief!" Aiko proclaimed, still rubbing her cheek. "I could not bring a Massage Chair, so I constructed this." Aiko pointed at her gift.
Lady Liu narrowed her eyes. "And how does it work then?" She was still not convinced that it was not a sex toy.
Aiko picked it up walking towards Lady Liu.
"Not on me." Lady Liu stopped Aiko. No way she would do something so embarrassing in front of so many people, but there was one person who could do this demonstration.
"Chen Shi~" Lady Liu hummed with a visible smirk.
Chen Shi shivered. "I-I'm good."
"No. You have been overworking, which means you will allow Aiko to demonstrate her gift and 'relieve' your 'muscle pain'." She smiled from ear to ear making him cry.
Chen Shi opened his mouth and closed it without a sound. He was completely speechless by the fact he was exploited by Lady Liu!
"Lie down." Aiko stared at him unblinking.
Chen Shi glared at Aiko, but could not go against Lady Liu.
"What do I do?" Chen Shi gritted his teeth.
"Lay on your stomach." Aiko pointed at the fluffy carpet. "You don't need to take your clothes off, but you won't be able to feel it all that well." Aiko gestured.
"That is fine!" Chen Shi would absolutely not take his clothes off.
"I have not tested it yet, but it shouldn't burn your clothes, probably..." Aiko paused, murmuring to herself, but everyone heard her.
Yanqi was holding in laughter, Lady Liu was likewise amused.
Chen Shi changed his mind, he couldn't allow another set of his date clothes to be destroyed!
He took his top half off, but kept everything below his waist.
"You should really exercise." Aiko shook her head at him.
Chen Shi wanted to retort, but...
"I do agree." Lady Liu nodded. "You have gained weight."
Chen Shi could only purse his lips and bear with this.
He lay on his stomach, still puzzled about what this was about.
Aiko activated the thing and Lady Liu immediately noticed that it was not a sex toy. With the amount of strange movement... that would absolutely hurt her.
She stared at it in interest, still doubtful, but at the same time, she was hopeful that it would really be able to relieve muscle pain.
Meanwhile, Yanqi was completely speechless. She didn't expect Aiko to change her favourite sex toy so much!
Lady Liu giggled at Yanqi and she could only blush. How could Yanqi know that Aiko would be so...!
Aiko slowly worked on Chen Shi's back.
At first, there was no reaction, but over time as Aiko activated higher 'gears'... there was a sudden change.
Chen Shi moaned, but he immediately blushed deep red.
Yanqi stared at him dumbfounded and Lady Liu giggled.
Considering this had such an effect on the Stoic Chen Shi, it would have a great effect on her. This would absolutely relieve her muscle pain.
"Stop moaning!" Aiko slapped his butt and Chen Shi's face burned red.
"You brat!" Chen Shi really wanted to kill Aiko now. This was such an embarrassing situation!
Both Lady Liu and Yanqi laughed loudly, making him even more embarrassed!
Lady Liu stopped laughing for a moment and said softly. "I'm still not convinced, let Yanqi also experience this."
Yanqi was laughing heartily until she heard those words from Lady Liu.
"Ummm... I'm good-" Yanqi almost cried out when she saw that gentle expression from Lady Liu.
"Okay..." Yanqi obediently agreed with Lady Liu's proposal.
Lady Liu nodded happily.
"But I'm not really ready..." Yanqi blushed and tried to weasel her way out of this.
"That is fine. I was not ready either." Chen Shi smiled like a brat who found a way to bully someone.
Yanqi was confused, but Aiko was already approaching her.
"Please take your clothes off and lie on your stomach." Aiko liked this Bird Lady, so she would naturally be polite.
"I... I will do it with clothes, they are thin." Yanqi tried to avoid taking off her clothes, since there was a surprise for Lady Liu...
Aiko shrugged. "That's fine-"
"But you wouldn't feel it properly." Lady Liu shook her head. "How can I believe it works properly if you can't feel it?" She twisted those words and the clueless Yanqi nodded before shaking her head.
Yanqi could absolutely not undress herself!
