A Different Point Of View?

But Adam was in no mood for that and got straight to the point.

"Why are you here?"

"Oh my, do I have to start there?" The Goddess sighed looking at Adam as if she didn't like explaining something so obvious.

"I was brought here by the youngest because you kept on saying that she can't help you, well so here I am to help you since she thinks that your problem falls under my domain, meaning she thinks you are a complete horndog, which isn't false and it isn't that I dislike it by the way," Adam became more deadpanned the more he heard her.

"No you don't understand," Adam said and The Goddess of Wishes just smiled.

"But I understand your situation very well unlike the youngest who is still pure," Adam was about to say more but the Goddess of Wishes continued with a flat look, "What I don't understand is, why are you acting like this? Didn't you get what you want? You are able to have sex with pretty women, isn't that what you asked for oh so desperately before?"

"So, what may be the problem when you are getting your dick wet like you wanted?" Adam was unable to say anything in front of the eyes of the current Goddess of Wishes since it felt like she could see through everything about him, and he was indeed correct, she indeed knew everything he was thinking and beyond that.

"Are you really that affected by getting something that was owed to you?" The Goddess of Wishes said and Adam just clenched his fist.

"It isn't that…." Adam was about to speak but…

"Oh, I know what it is so spare me the bullshit, you need to understand that you aren't running a charity here, the woman got what she wanted and you got what you were owed, it is as simple as that, she wasn't a child, she knew what she was getting herself into just like you when you wished for the sex system from me, she wished to reverse the laws of the world by bringing someone back from the dead so, of course, she had to pay for it, Do you understand what I am saying here, Adam?" The Goddess of Wishes said looking at Adam as he was frowning.

"I should've been better," Adam said and the Goddess of Wishes laughed while covering her mouth elegantly.

"When has someone ever wished for something good? At the end, Wishes are meant to be selfish, depraved, and twisted, Wishes are born from needs and wants, personal gain is the basis of wanting something more than what one has, Do you get it? A wish can never be good because what one essentially does when making a wish is have the intention to take away the thing he wished for from someone else intentionally or unintentionally," The Goddess of Wishes spoke with the biggest smile on her face as she continued if someone else had done it they would look creepy but she somehow made it look beautiful while doing so.

Even then it was clear that she had her own view regarding the wishes as she had heard and granted them for countless years.

"Wishes are meant to be selfish, because without a strong enough desire to have something you can't wish for it,"

"You really have a shit view on things," Adam said and The Goddess of Wishes smiled seductively with a voice that was nearly melting his ears off with how sweet it was, this was a different type of sweetness from the Goddess before, her's was more gentle and uplifting but the current ones were like swift water that wanted to drown the listener in the sweetness and make it so that they never resurface again.

"You don't like it? Do something about it," Adam felt a headache rising since it was hard for him to deal with this new Goddess of Wishes.

"But I really should've been better, my wish was too…. bad at the time and now it is coming to bite me in the ass," Adam said as he was thinking of his relationship till now, if he had gotten some other system other than sex system then maybe he would've been able to get on a good footing with the women he had met.

"What's with that naivety? Do you really think that the problem here is that you have a sex system rather than the other ones?" The Goddess of Wishes got right to the point and…

"I hate you, Can't you let a man be in denial when he wants to?" Adam said and she just smiled like she enjoyed that look on his face.

"I know of a really good way to help you, wanna hear?" Adam looked at the Goddess and it really looked like she wasn't joking.

'Does she really know?' Adam looked hopeful because he was sure that things wouldn't be good with how they were going on.

"What?" Adam asked and he got a simple answer.

"Let go of it,"

"…" Adam just looked at the Goddess of Wishes silently and she smirked while shaking her head.

"Thought so, but you'll need to do it one day, you can't keep holding onto something that you don't even have, you'll need to accept and the sooner you do the better it is for you and the ones around you," The Goddess said even though she could see the deep frown on Adam's face.

"What?" She asked with a smile that annoyed Adam but he just clicked his tongue and didn't say anything.

"You're no fun, I thought you'd attack me at least," The Goddess of Wishes shook her head and no one knew what type of attack she was talking about while licking her lips.

But Adam had his own plans here so he didn't pry into it.

"Can you make some adjustments to the System?" Adam was about to explain what he wanted but…

"You want to filter out women who have serious relationships? No, Nada, Nein, Denied," The Goddess said with the flattest voice possible as she made an X with her arms and Adam's face twitched.

"Why? Do you want me to suffer or something?" Adam asked with a frown, he was doing this so he could save himself and the women from possible mental torture that came with what would happen.

The case with Tsunade was weighing on his mind far more than he wanted it to.

"Although I do enjoy seeing you in misery since that would make you come running into my embrace for help. But besides that, You do know that Wishes are fulfilled at random, I am already being kind to you by letting you choose women alone, You understand?" The Goddess said and Adam literally shuddered on the spot, the latter part was so terrifying that he even forgot about the start of her sentence which was equally terrifying in its own right.

But for Adam, the second part was what truly terrified him. He didn't even want to continue down that lane.

"Anyway, it isn't like those women won't have wishes, if anything they are the ones with the most wishes, are you really ok with letting them suffer when they have a chance to live their dreams by spreading their legs once? It is a pretty sweet deal that most will take with open arms and legs," The Goddess said with a smile like she was proud of herself for making that type of jokes but Adam had something really important to say.

"You know I am pretty sure they'd happily pay with something other than sex," Adam said but The Goddess scoffed.

"Like you can choose how your wish is fulfilled, you used to wish about going to a different world as well, didn't you? How did that end for you?" The Goddess of Wishes said and…

"You...." Adam looked at the Goddess of Wishes as she smirked looking at him.

"It is exactly what you are thinking," She nodded even though she could see the veins popping all over Adam's face and neck, it didn't take any powers to know that he was angry, Angry beyond what was humanly possible since the entire shop shook. But…

"Calm yourself, it isn't like you can do something to me even if you wanted to, and I'd rather not move around too much after just waking up, I'd rather prefer some love since it is just morning," The Goddess of Wishes winked at Adam as he was taking deep breaths to calm down the bubbling anger in his heart.

'Calm down, you can't lose your cool, That was close,' Adam sighed as he saw the Goddess looking at him.

"…You have really pretty eyes,"
