5: I Am A Devil? Well….
"T-This isn't how it was supposed to be!!" I saw Ryusuke run away in fear dropping the knife on the ground.
"Ah," Seeing that my legs gave out and I finally fell to the ground, the danger to my kid was gone.
"AI!! The ambulance will be here soon!!" I saw that Aqua was crying but…
"You're not hurt right Aqua?" I was happy to see that he was alright, so happy that I forgot the fact that I was stabbed.
Seeing him scramble I couldn't help but hug him.
"It's alright Aqua, I am sure I won't make it," That was all I could tell to my son to make him stop moving.
But that was the truth, I may not know a lot and I haven't learned much in my life. Even then at this moment, I was sure that I was going to die.
"Mama! Mama! What happened?" Ruby was pounding against the door behind me, it really calmed me to know that she was safe as well.
'I am ok with dying if they are safe and sound,' It was honestly a shame, there were so many things that I wanted to do with them.
Take them shopping, drop and pick them up from school, and Do work with my kids because I was sure they'd do really well in the industry.
My daughter could easily be an idol and my son had the making of an actor, I was really proud that they were talented.
And…
"Aqua, Ruby, I Love you," I said it, the words that I had wanted to say to them for the longest time.
I was always worried that I might end up lying to them as well, but…
"That wasn't a lie, I am so glad," I could feel it in my heart, that this time I wasn't lying.
'It will be okay if die now,' I thought, but to the end, I am a lair.
'I don't want to die,' I really didn't, I wanted to be there for Aqua and Ruby as they grow up.
I wanted to see Ruby become an idol and do a show with her, I wanted to see Aqua become a successful Actor, I knew they had talent for that.
And I wanted to be there and brag.
'They are my kids.' I wanted to say that with my chest puffed out in pride.
And most importantly...
'I want to say I love you to them every morning, no I want to say that every time I see them, So please…' I have never prayed to a god or anything in my life but at this moment with my life slipping away, 'Please, Help me.'
'There's no way something would happen,' I thought, and knew that this was the end for me.
But that is when it appeared.
'A door?' It was a wooden door that came out of nowhere in front of me.
And there was a note on this expensive-looking door.
'If thou dost seek to fulfill thy desires, lay hold upon the handle. Beyond this door, thy wishes shall be granted, yet be wary, for a sacrifice shall be exacted'
'What?' Even if I was confused at that instance, I didn't know yet.
How much my life would change after I walked through that door.

Adam POV
"There is no~~~~~~ one coming here," I sighed heavily while lying down on the sofa.
"Patience is the key to success, The door will only appear in front of the person who is ready to make the necessary sacrifice," I look to the side with an annoyed look.
It was the Goddess Of Wishes who was sitting on the sofa across from me drinking tea and eating cakes that I baked.
"Why are you here again?" I asked since in the few years I had been waiting here this Goddess had been frequently visiting this place to…
"I need to keep an eye on you so that you don't make any trouble for me, like it or not, you are my subordinate of sorts," The Goddess said while sipping the tea elegantly and I scoffed.
"I see, then you won't be having the cookies I assume,"
"Ahem* there is no God Of Cooking in my realm," There! That was the reason, this Goddess was coming here to eat my food all the time.
What is this? Your personal restaurant?
Seriously, I couldn't catch a break because this Goddess ate too much, all of the food I made vanished whenever I took a nap. Traps and such didn't do anything and I can't even stop the Goddess from entering this place.
'When will someone come, I want to meet a real woman,' I sighed and…
DING* DING*
The ring in the shop chimed, it was to let me know.
"A wom- Customer!!" I zoomed out of the kitchen and the Goddess of Wishes was scared by my sudden outburst. Thankfully the Goddess had finished all of the tea beforehand.
"Why are you being like this?" The Goddess asked but I couldn't care less.
"Get out,"
"What?" The Goddess was shocked by my words but I meant it.
"There will be a customer so, get out," I pulled the goddess up from the sofa in a stunned state and I was faced with a question.
"What? How could you do this to a lady?"
"Lady? Yeah sure," I was in no mood to play the game of 'If it looks feminine enough, it is a female.'
No, not on my watch!!
"What? You Impudent, How could yo-"
"Oh! Is it the cookies? Here take the jar and get out, I need to do my job here," I handed the jar to the shocked goddess and pushed the nuisance out through the backdoor.
'Everything is perfect,' I snapped and cleaned the sofa so that the person that comes in doesn't have to sit where a fake woman sat.
I also quickly placed some water to boil and changed into fitting clothes to look proper, and did my hair as the alarm stopped.
The door that hasn't moved in years moved and the bell chimed.
And there I saw a blue-purplish-haired 'woman' walk in.
Her gradient eyes drifted from the floor to me and she opened her mouth.
"Um, Hello?"
'Ah! The voice alone is soothing my soul!!' I never knew I'd be this happy to hear a woman's voice, but her voice was really clear and crisp.
And, while I was lost in my thoughts...
"Mister, are you the devil?" A ridiculous question was thrown my way.
"Me? A Devil? No not really?" I waved my hand with a smile.
"But it was written that you'd fulfill my wish, if I make the necessary sacrifice," The woman said and I realized what she meant by that.
"Well, I guess you can say that I am a Devil then sort of," I smiled wryly since it fits really. Well. Fuck me, I guess? No wait…
"So, Is it possible for me to see my kids again?" She asked with desperation in her voice.
"Is that your wish?" I tilted my head.
"Yes, can it not happen?" She surely noticed the look on my face.
"No, it isn't that, I was just thinking that your wish is quite vague, If I really happened to be a devil, you young miss would be in real big trouble," I laughed as saw her blink in confusion.
Anyway, moving on...
"Please take a seat, I'll do everything in my power so that you are satisfied with my service,"
And with that, my first deal with a woman started.
"The tea is really good!! Cakes as well," After a little chat, I now knew a few things about the woman in front of me.
"Glad to hear that Ai, would you like some more?" First of all, her name was Hoshino Ai.
"It won't affect my weight in real life right?" She asked a bit concerned.
"Nothing of the sort," She worked as an Idol and just turned 20 today. Because of her work, she was really sensitive about her appearance and more importantly her weight.
'Idols, huh? They have it rough, I think there was an idol who had to live off ice cubes for diet so that she could get in shape, truly hellish,' I shook my head as…
"Then I'll have more," Ai said with a smile.
Idols needed to look their best even if they were having diarrhea.
'I think I heard that from somewhere? Can't remember where though,' I left that thought behind soon since Ai spoke.
"But you're really something else Mister, you made my wound disappear like it was nothing, even my clothes are back to how they were,"
"That was a simple task," It really wasn't anything that complicated for me.
"But wouldn't be bad if I just walk out of the door? Like I am healed, right? No, I guess you won't let me," Ai was thinking hard while tapping her chin and I chuckled.
"I won't stop you but, The magic will be undone if you choose to step out of the Shop without forming a contract,"
