Strongest?

“C-Chloe…” She could see Olga standing on the staircase behind even when her body faced forward, her yellow eyes bulging in disbelief.

Chloe had never seen her so shaken before, her eyes trembled as Olga stood there in shock. Locking her eyes with her, both of them understood that this was the end.

‘R-Run… please…’ Chloe wanted to speak, but her twisted vocal cords didn’t allow her. Nothing came out of her gaping mouth as her body slumped.

“Chloeee!!” Olga’s guttural scream rang in her ears as the unsteady footsteps stopped right next to her.

‘Why don’t you run? Please…… save yourself.’ Even in her last moments, she wanted Olga to be safe. She had no chance of living after what happened. They had no way of healing such an injury, at least in Olga’s current state she had no chance.

Even if she got saved, Vult’s power had reached a level they could not deal with.

“How did that happen? I was sure that I held back. Well, whatever, you’ll have to make up for her.” Vult looked amused. Before him, tears gathered in Olga’s eyes, he succeeded in breaking her spirit a little.

“You bastard!!! Burn!” Rage filled her voice. The earing on her left ear gathered the nearby mana as a blast of fire enveloped him. The mana in the spell was enough to shake the surroundings.

It was an item that could shoot out a destructive spell once every ten years. However, the power of the spell made up for the time it for the artifact to recharge. The ground and ceiling melted because of the fiery tornado. The bodies of the ogres got reduced to nothing in the wake of that fire. Even Olga had to use the barrier ring to face the heat and it still burnt her bangs.

‘I’ll kill him. I’ll tear him apart!’ Anger seeped into her head as the flame died down, she hoped he didn’t die just yet because she wanted him to suffer more.

“Is that all you damn bitch? Struggle a bit more so I can have some fun, will ya?” However, there wasn’t a single burn on him. Olga’s eyes widened, that was her trump card. She didn’t have anything stronger.

A Lightning amulet, wind storm, fire spears, no matter what she used nothing could hurt him. All the while he smiled and took the spells head-on.

‘Can I really not do …anything?’ She held Chloe. This bastard raped her daughter and her in that dream. He put them through so much misery, and Chloe suffered so much because of him.

But, it happened because she was unprepared. That’s why even if it was a dream. That was a stain on her life. Olga wanted to make Vult pay for doing that. She wanted him to suffer just like Chloe did even if it seemed useless. And he died in pain, she made sure of it. So, why was he standing before her?

‘Why did she have to suffer …again?’ Olga gritted her teeth as Chloe tried to hold her hand.

“How is this fair…?” Blood dripped from the corners of her lips.

Watching that despair settle in, Vult felt invigorated. Now he was glad that he attacked Chloe with a strong attack. He wanted to make Olga suffer the most, even more than this.

‘What happens to me after death has nothing to do with me. Right here right now, I’ll enjoy every second of breaking you down physically and mentally, you fucking bitch!!’ But, this was nothing. He wanted to do worse, that was the only reason he made that unreasonable contract. Olga’s eyes losing their luster made up for that, a grin crept up on his lips.

“I can still save her.” Her body jolted at the words as if she got hit with a hammer. He wasn’t lying, he now had the ability to save Chloe which became the reason he didn’t mind what happened to her, “In return, you know what you have to do, right? I’ll have you worship my cock for the rest of your life.”

Olga gritted her teeth and glared at him. Chloe’s breath became fainter, it was a miracle she survived this long. No, she could feel that this bastard did something to prolong her suffering. His cackling made Olga sick to her stomach. But, he could save her. The nails digging into her palms drew blood. Chloe still tried to push her away. She didn’t want Olga to listen to Vult.

It ate away at her that she couldn’t save Chloe, someone who took on so much abuse to save her from being defiled in the dream. And even after a second chance, Olga couldn’t save her. If she agreed to Vult, it would demean Chloe further who was ready to give her life away.

“Go to hell you swine!” He smirked at her sharp words.

Vult expected it, after all, Olga had too much pride. However, that didn’t matter.

“Only through power can you maintain your pride, otherwise you are nothing but a bug that can get crushed by the strong.” He stepped towards them, “And right now I am the stronger one, so I can do anything with you bitches!”

Olga grimaced at the amount of mana that poured out of him. It made her light-headed and also scared. This became the second time she had felt something like this. But, whatever he said she didn’t care. She had spells and artifacts prepared in advance. When activated, let alone her soul not even a speck her body would remain this time. Watching the dream she prepared many countermeasures to prevent similar situations.

In doing so she also rigged the entire fortress to blow up at her death. If Vult had a way of still bringing her back, another card remained for her. But, most of it only mattered if Chloe survived.

‘If there is another chance… please… please…’ She closed her eyes feeling her fleeting breath.

“It isn’t over yet Olga.” That’s when Celestine arrived.

Her face as serene as always, she stood right next to Olga placing a hand on her shoulder as a sign of reassurance. Behind her Maia, Claudia, and Kaguya arrived with haste. Olga felt complicated again, once more she felt herself at the feet of her rival.

However, she wasn’t sure if it would help this time.

The three princess knights almost fell because of the thick mana leaking out of Vult’s body. It had a solid form and clung to the air creating a purple haze trying to invade their lungs.

“You… Isn’t that great! Haha! To think all you bitches would gather in one place!!” Vult felt overjoyed, he didn’t even have to look for them.

“Your ignorance knows no bounds.” Celestine didn’t flinch. To her, this was nothing but a ruse. Unaware, Vult smirked.

“You are the ignorant one. But, I guess I have to thank you all for this!” He laughed and the ground started to quake, the walls shattered.

Joy filled him, right now he stood at the top. No one can stop him, no one can deny him, and no one can in the way of his ambitions. The fear, the looks of awe, the hushed breath in his presence, he reveled in them all.

“Bow!!” With his shout, they all fell to the ground in his presence. Even Celestine bowed her head low.

Almost as if they had seen God himself.

“Right now, there is no stronger than me in this world!!” His gleeful shout filled the silent room.

“That was only true because I wasn’t around.” Yet, his body froze at the voice that came from nearby.
