An Unnatural Situation

Adam sighed he moved towards the side to avoid sitting in front of the vomit, but in doing so he was now closer to Makima, who didn't move at all. Their bodies were now touching and she glanced at his reaction with an amused expression.

"Hmm, I suppose I can help you with this," Makima showed a soft smile that confused Adam, but he wasn't given much time to ponder upon it. In the next instant, Makima moved in and kissed his lips. And it wasn't a peck or a light kiss, it turned out to be something even more intense.

'She is using her tongue?!' Adam was shocked by the aggressive moves she pulled. Makima had done this before, but this time there was more feeling in the way she sucked on his lips. Holding his face to not let him back, instead, she pulled him closer to her body as if she wanted to merge with him.

"Mhm~," With a slight moan that came from the excessive contact, she wrapped her arms around his neck to pull him even closer. Makima did not seem drunk at all, and she was doing this as a way to settle him down as spoken.

After all, he nearly did get puke in his mouth. So, this was her way of rewriting that memory with a passionate smooch. That is why Adam responded in kind, getting a taste of her pink lips. He was thoroughly enjoying the sweetness that spread across his tongue when it touched hers. She lightly quivered when it happened, but didn't shy away. But it increased when he wrapped his arms around her raising her a little off her butt while pushing the battle of the tongue into her mouth.

The scene left the onlookers in shock, but the two were now in their world. Not caring about anything other than what they had going on.

'No way… She is making out with him here in the open?' Himeno nearly became sober at the sight in front of her. This was something she didn't expect even in her wildest dreams. And when she looked to her right, Aki and Denji were also seeing this scene with eyes as wide as saucers. In a way, this dealt more damage to the two.

"Wha…" Denji was frozen in place. He couldn't look away even if he wanted to. It was like something was forcing him to look at this scene, but even if he had the power to. He didn't know if he'd look away from this or not.

'I wanted to do that with Miss Makima… why is he? How can he do that?' His brain was short-circuiting with his desires taking over. He wanted to do this with Makima instead of Adam, Yes. He had thought of doing that since he was saved by her a week back.

But even seeing it happen in front of him, he didn't feel any different. Seeing her kiss another man right here, there was just a small sting in his chest as to why he couldn't do it, and that was about it. This was weird, and something that was beyond his understanding, which is why he just sat there watching them in a daze.

'What is Miss Makima …doing? No, what is he doing?!' Aki on the other hand, looked away in less than a second. He couldn't even look at what was happening, because his heart sunk into his stomach instantly.

He always felt like he was attracted to Makima, but he didn't know it was this much, or more specifically he didn't know that it was romantic feelings because he had always told himself that he didn't have time for that. And that was the reason why this hit him. So, badly that he almost teared up at that moment.

'This could work…' Himeno thought looking at Adam and Makima. The two had just stopped their make-out session, and they didn't look even a little fazed about the show they put on. Adam looked like he had just noticed the surroundings, but she took his attention once again.

"Did you like it?" Makima asked. Her ears were completely red as she licked her lips to swipe the saliva, but there was no need to say that she enjoyed the moment. But it was important to know if it worked as intended.

"Hmm? Of course," Adam smiled. It was certainly a surprise, but a welcome one. The unexpectedness is what raised the hotness of that kiss, not to mention that Makima truly showed that she was serious without holding any other motives. So, it was definitely something he welcomed.

"I see, so you do indeed like a kiss more after I eat something sweet beforehand," Makima's lips curled up into a delightful smile, she had just eaten some tiramisu before kissing him. And considering his aggressive focus on her tongue, it was just like she remembered.

"Hmm? I mean…" Adam was caught up in that moment, it was just that he couldn't deny her. But the fact that she remembered this was more shocking.

'Well, is it shocking? It isn't that I tried to hide it, especially with her,' He just decided to let it be, but he wouldn't deny that his heart did skip a beat at that moment. Because of how she specifically did this just for him, the satisfied smile on her face was another thing that he liked. But it was now time to switch the focus.

"Now, we need to clear this mess up," Makima glanced around her. And he agreed it was indeed a mess, they had to take these drunks out of here and send them back home. All of them were on the floor sleeping like dead logs, and this job now fell onto the two of them who were still sober.

Regardless, Makima handled it easily. She called a few people from her department putting them in charge of sending these people home, but there was a problem.

"Azam, take me home~," Himeno refused to get off Adam's back. She was all over him and looked completely drunk at the moment, so drunk that Makima's gaze went unnoticed by her.

"There is someone here who will do that," Adam said. Pointing at the woman next to a black car in front of them, she was still patiently waiting for them to finish this.

"I don't trust them, who knows what they'll do to me!" Himeno on the other hand, showed no signs of slowing down.

"It's a woman, you'll rather let a man take you home?" Adam was stunned, wasn't something seriously wrong with her? She was the total opposite of other women. And something was indeed wrong with her…

"So, you'd be carried back by a man rather than a beautiful woman~?" Himeno tilted her head cutely, and Adam couldn't argue with that. Her logic was correct but not correct at the same time as it did not mean anything for their current predicament.

'Well, it isn't like a woman can carry be back, but that is beside the point,' Adam was about to forcefully put Himeno in the car, as she struggled in a drunk frenzy. It wasn't easy with her flopping around like a fish out of water.

"Wouldn't it be less troublesome if you take her back home like she wants?" This is when Makima approached him, her eyes glancing at Himeno who nodded in agreement with her.

"Yesh, I would love to go home with Adam~," She even chimed in happily as Adam deadpanned. What was this all about?

"See? She is ok with it. So, there is nothing to worry about," Makima turned her eyes back on Adam, she could see that he was still not on board with the idea. But she understood his concern after all…

"The way you say it makes me feel like I have a lot to worry about," His lips twitched. It was hard to understand how women think, so he was just trying to be sure. Because if he follows her words, wouldn't this cause a big problem? But considering how Makima did not have thoughts similar to other human females, it should be fine, right? This was a big messy situation.

"No, as I said. You do not have to worry about anything. Then, I'll go back first." Makima placed a light kiss on Adam's cheek and walked away with a smile. She had made her stance clear, she indeed did not mind this as it wasn't something to think about too deeply.

"Well… I'll just drop her off," Adam sighed looking at Himeno, who was now asleep leaning on him. He carefully placed her into the backseat and sat down beside her with a heavy sigh. The driver then started the car taking them to their destination under the eyes of a man, who had watched the whole exchange from start to finish. No, someone made him watch it.

"You have something on your mind Hayakawa?"
