Chapter 12: Magic School’s Homework is like a Fantasy Book!

You know I never understood the reluctance of main characters in fantasy books and their reluctance to study in magic schools. You would think that living with mundane normal school for however many years would make it so that learning literal magic is fun. But for some reason in all of the Penny Hatter books she treats magic study's as if they are maths class. Luckily for the most part studying in a magic world, even the history homework, is awesome!

That isn't true of people that are not aware of how exceptionally interesting their own world is. In fact there was one person participating in our study session that was anything but happy and she was currently flailing her arms around while we dragged her into our room.

[I dun waaaaanna! Why do I hafta learn boring history anyway!?!] - Veronica

[We also have to review Practical Spells chapter 3, Forces of Magic and You Chapter 5 and work on our maths problems as well. So History is the least of your problems.] - Malaise

[...heh...] - Shade

[...dammit.] - Rose

Now you would think that being a medieval"ish" world that the mathematics would be way behind my old one and you'd actually be wrong surprisingly. In fact other than quantum equations the maths of this world seemed fairly comparable to my old one. When I asked about it I was told offhand about some reincarnated person about 100 years ago. Maybe he was a maths teacher or something?

I'd forgotten about the maths part of the practical actually so hearing that we had to study it made my mood worse, luckily even though I disliked maths in my old world I had been a little better than average grade point wise so middle school-ish level maths was well within my ability. Even if it was annoying.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------[Why are you so good at this? You're a transfer student... tch, so unfair.] - Veronica

[Don't blame her for your shortcomings! Although now that I think of it you are really advanced for someone that came partly through the year. Did your family have a good tutor?] - Malaise

Shivering slightly from the trauma of my memories of tutors over the last few years I nodded.

[Yeah, I had tutors for everything from basic maths to... marital training.] - Rose

[Hoh hoh! Marital Training huh? Did they teach you naughty stuff?!? It was naughty stuff right?!?!] - Veronica

[Pay attention to your work! Or do I have to use my big album?] - Malaise

Threatening Veronica with a larger book than normal I finally asked something that had been bothering me for a while now, both to change the subject and because I was genuinely curious.

[Hey Malaise. Where do you get so many books from anyway? I never see you carrying a bag for them...] - Rose

[She pulls them from her vag...... ahh! <gurgle gurgle>] - Veronica

[Quiet you! Actually I use a unique space compression magic that can store objects.] - Malaise

[Ooooh! Is that like Inventory magic? What is this an RPG?!?] - Rose

Strangling Veronica while she calmly answered my question my excitement got the better of me and I used a term from my old world that none of them should have understood prompting them to all freeze at once and look at me.

[Enventoree? Arpeegee? What's that?] - Malaise

[...] - Shade

[O-Oh it's j-just something I read in an old book, it means storing stuff in a small space... right?] - Rose

[N-Nevermind that we should get back to work...] - Rose

Malaise seemed to buy my excuse but Shade continued staring at me for several seconds with slightly narrowed eyes so I nervously adjusted my skirt before trying to call attention back to our study session. Luckily that made her focus shift off of me. I wonder if Shade recognizes those terms for some reason...-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------[Haaaaaaah! It's finally over! Bath! I say it's group bath time!] - Veronica

[You're only saying that so you can leer at all of us right? Besides do you think we can all fit in the bath at once? Rose takes up the whole thing by herself!] - Malaise

Her comment about my size made me a little embarrassed so I tried shrinking myself as small as possible, a little hard to do when you're more than double the size of your roommates.

[Heheheh! For being a girl you're not too good at talking like one! Maybe you actually have a penis under those shorts!] - Veronica

[S-Sorry Rose I didn't mean to... Ahh! Where are you touching, you idiot? N-Not ther...] - Malaise

Lunging at Malaise while she was distracted with trying to apologize Veronica fiercely tried to strip her. All while groping any exposed parts.

[...we could... go to the public baths.] - Shade

[Huh?] - Rose, Malaise and Veronica

Turning our heads all at once in surprise at the suggestion, even more surprising because it came from Shade we all let out the same sounds of confusion at once. The normally expressionless Shade had a very slight blush on her face but it was barely noticeable.

[Public B-Bath? But other people...] - Rose

[Y-Yeah I don't feel comfortable being naked around strangers...] - Malaise

[I do!!! WOOHOO Public Baths For the WIIIIIIIN!!!!] - Veronica

[...] - Shade

[W-Well putting the pervert aside now that I think of it we could rent the bath all to ourselves I guess... What do you think Rose?] - Malaise

The two of them looked at me expectantly while Shade attempted to look disinterested, her stolen glances my way didn't really sell it though. The joint excitement or Veronica and Shade made me want to live up to their expectations so I had to say yes.

[U-Ummm I guess?] - Rose

[WAAAAHOOOOO!!!! NAKED GIRLS!!! FINALLY NAKED GIIIIIRLS!!!!!!!!!] - Veronica

While Veronica let all of her impure desires out in the open we just watched her while shaking our heads.

[W-Will we be safe around her?] - Rose

[P-Probably? I think?] - Malaise

[....] - Shade-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
