[97] Let Me Explain!
Chapter 97: Let Me Explain!
—
'Holy shit, that was artistic.'
Hashirama yawned and stretched his arms. With droopy eyes, he sat up and looked around.
The incident that led to him losing consciousness was beautiful. It wasn’t a secret to him that Haki could block direct Devil Fruit effects, but he wasn’t sure how to use that side of Haki. In the end, he had just released a burst of Conqueror’s Haki in the hope to stay safe, and it had worked.
The rush of power and adrenaline was still there in his veins.
Hashirama remembered everything in vivid detail, and could also make out the last incident even though he didn't see the attacker with his eyes. It was a granny.
Either the impact was just super strong, or his pressurized head was prone to harm in that state. Or it could be both, actually. In the end, he blacked out.
"Huh, but where is this?"
Hashirama roamed his head around the room he was in. Well, the room was a big word for this, this was a prison cell.
Situated right beside the street, with three of the four walls around him being solid concrete, and only the front somewhat open. It was bars made of heavy gold, showing the street on the other side. This was a shameful prison, where everyone could see who was inside. Hashirama noticed some girls peeking at him from afar, hiding behind houses and all that.
Oh, and it was already daytime. So the festival had ended, and everyone who didn't have much to do began to gather behind houses. At first, they were just peeking from there, but soon they began to come forward.
In ten minutes, the front of Hashirama's prison cell was filled with countless half-naked girls, wearing bikinis, who looked at him in awe.
They mumbled, whispered, and stared.
Hashirama needed to mention that he wasn't naked, unlike Luffy who was in the same situation in another timeline. He was stripped off his shirt and pants and left on a pair of boxers, but he wasn't naked.
Still, that attracted enough attention on its own. Everyone just stared, eyes glued on the bulge in his pants.
"What is that…"
"Is that…"
Some of the older women seemed to know that it was, while the younger ones simply looked at it in curiosity.
"How shameless of you lots."
Hashirama shook his head and stood up. Their stares were amusing for the first few minutes, but now he was back to normal. He stood up and looked for a way out.
The women blinked, blushing lightly at being called shameless. Not everyone reacted shyly, however, a few flinched back and growled.
“Shut up, intruder! To have dared to enter our country as a male!”
“Why is a female talking?”
Everyone gasped at his reply, while he casually stretched his arms and looked for a way out. The girls gossiped, shocked and speechless.
“He thinks we shouldn’t talk just because we are women?”
“So men do look down on women!”
“For him to say such a thing…”
“How despicable!”
Hashirama frowned once he realized the entire cell was shut from all sides. No door whatsoever. It was made of special materials too, so breaking it would be a bit hard.
Oh and, there was a shackle made of sea stone that connected to his ankle. The other end was attached to the wall. They prepared well to keep him locked here.
Not that his powers were restricted by sea stone. So their efforts would be fruitless. Before Hashirama would do anything to free himself, he decided to ask a question to the crowd.
“By the way, what happened to my companions?”
“Oh, they are still stones. I think they are kept in the Empress’ palace.”
Hashirama wasn’t expecting a direct answer, and it seemed so were the Kujas. They snapped their heads at who spoke, as the blonde girl made an ‘oopsie!’ expression.
It was Marguerite, who gave Hashirama a wink before she was dragged by some older women to be lectured. He smiled and winked back at her as she vanished behind the crowd.
‘Cute.’
Since Marguerite was here, it meant that nobody found out about the orgy he had caused last night. So she and the other girls who joined her should be fine.
Hashirama refocused on the crowd. His eyes wandered to take one last look at this gathering of beauties, while his hands moved to raise his free hair into a pulp. He formed a messy bun and tied it with a worn-out vine that came out of his palm.
Girls stared at him as he moved, eyes gawking, as he broke out laughing in the middle of it. Finishing his hair, he shrugged his arms loose, staring at the girls with a smile.
“Guys, can you back off for a second?”
The girls blinked, frowned, looked at one another, and then backed off. They were curious about what he wanted to do. Nobody thought he would try to escape, being surrounded as he was.
A nice safe space was created between Hashirama’s cell and the crowd. Seeing it safe, he clasped his hands, then released it. The girls stared at what he was doing, as he clenched his fists, his forearms veins flaring outwards, before he shoved his fists at the sky.
Immediately, two large wooden hands rumbled out of the concrete floor. Hashirama was between the gap of the two fists, as his own fists unfolded into two straight palms. The wooden fists imitated him, opening up, and pointing at the roof.
Hashirama touched his palms above his head, and to every observer’s shock, the two wooden palms touched as well, sandwiching Hashirama in the process.
“What is he doing?”
One little girl asked out of pure curiosity, speaking the mind of everyone present. That question was answered immediately as the clasped palm shoved upwards in a sharp motion. It easily broke the chain from Hashirama’s ankle, and went up through the rooftop, penetrating it, and opened like a lotus flower.
Hashirama stood safe in the flower, on the roof of his cell, and he looked a little different with green wings coming out of his back.
“See you later, everybody.”
Giving them a two finger salute, plus a wink at Marguerite in the far, Hashirama flew away with a flap of his wings.
Little did he know, zillions of Haki-enchanted super arrows would be shooting up at him just a second later.

“Haah… mhm~”
Boa Hancock relaxed her muscles as she leaned back on the wall of the hot spring. Her body was up until her chest was under water, with her breasts floating, and her head was resting backward along with her arms, on the floor behind.
Inside the palace of the Snake Empress, built with Chinese themes, Boa Hancock rested in her personal hot spring. With no windows in the vicinity, and barely any light source, so that nobody saw her naked even by accident, this place was dark and cozy, filled with fog.
This was the place where Hancock felt the most relaxed, yet at the same time, most paranoid. Nobody could see her here, but if someone did, they’d know her secret. The mark that burned on her back to this day. The sign revealed her past status as a slave.
Today though, Hancock just felt tired. She didn’t feel the worry of paranoia, she just wanted to relax and rest. That burst of Conqueror’s Haki was quite something. There was a reason why Conqueror’s Haki users didn’t spam it, it was draining.
Advanced Conqueror's Haki made it less draining, as the output was more controlled, but Hancock couldn't use it. Rayleigh tried teaching her, but she just couldn't use it. Perhaps she would figure it out later in her life, or perhaps she just didn't have the talent for it.
Hancock wanted that power. She was known as the most beautiful woman, and while she liked that title, she also misused that title, she also wanted to be called the world's strongest woman.
Currently, Big Mom had it, and she had Conqueror's Coating to help her protect the title. Only if Hancock could unlock it, then…
'Speaking of Conqueror's Haki users,' Hancock's brows furrowed, even as she was resting her head back, with her eyes closed. 'Does Tsunade have it?'
Hancock forgot to ask. Well, they were talking about a lot of things, so it's not surprising one or two topics slipped. She got her number though… should she call her?
Tsunade Senju wasn't in Amazon Lily anymore. When her talk with Hancock finished over tea, she left after Hancock returned her crewmates to normal.
Before she left, Hancock had agreed to join Warlord Doflamingo's little game, after Tsunade told her what a bastard that man truly was. She was enraged to learn his plans; so much so that she announced she would join the event as a guest.
Men like him deserved to die, and she would make sure of that if he tried any tricks in that tournament.
As for why Tsunade herself had agreed to attend the event, it was interesting.
"Well, that boy is avoiding me. I have to admit at this point that I can't catch him if he doesn't let me. In that case, I will have to draw him towards me. I will make sure it's printed in the newspaper that I am going to Dressrosa. That will draw his attention, guessing the plans Doflamingo must be brewing. So he will come to find me there."
She had added: "Ah, and, if you find him, either call me and tell me to pick him up… or in other cases, at least let him know about this tournament. That I will be attending it."
Hancock knew what Tsunade suggested by that slight silence. When she said in other cases, she meant in case she was defeated, she must let him know about it when he would be sailing away.
Hancock was proud to say that wasn't the case. The moment Hashirama would wake up, she would visit his cell and turn him into stone. She couldn't do it right away since he was sleeping, and therefore not feeling any lust toward her.
She would turn him to stone, call her new friend, and tell her to pick her lousy brother up. He was a little weird, she didn't want him on her island. Not after the damage he had caused. People could have died if he continued his burst, he was too dangerous.
Hashirama Senju had to be delivered away as soon as possible.
– Shooo!
– Bang!
– Splash!
Suddenly, the sound of wind, the sound of things breaking, and finally the sound of water splashing filled the room.
Hancock jumped up, covering her chest with her forearm, and looking for who just fell from the sky.
"Aw- ugh- ouch- fucking hell, there is an arrow in my eyeball."
Hancock frowned, growling, while her face grew pale in anxiousness, as she recognized the voice. It was easy to recognize given there was only one man on the entire island.
She flared up her Observation Haki to see a bit more clearly in the fog, and her eyelids flinched at the sight.
With just his boxers, which were torn apart from the crash, revealing his hung body part, he slowly stood up from the water. His right hand yanked out the arrow from his eye, and also poked out the remaining of his right eyeball, as it fell into the water it made it deluded.
To Hancock’s surprise, a new eyeball began to grow in the socket in seconds.
A silence grew in the hot spring, with just grunts filling the air, until his eyes were healed and Hashirama blinked.
"Oh."
Standing just a few feet away from the tall woman, who was covering her chest with one hand, while looking down at him, Boa Hancock looked furious.
"Sister, this is a misunderstanding."
His previously hung body part that was suddenly tall and high didn't seem very convincing. Hancock's jaws clenched.
"Love-Love…"
"Hey, let me explain at least! Is it my fault that your girls were shooting arrows!?"
"...Beam!"
"Goddammit! …!!!!!!!!!!"
With no choice left, Hashirama let out another burst of Conqueror's Haki, while Hancock shot her beam without realizing no hand was covering her anymore.
