Chapter 517. Irresistible Temptation II
Seven Sins System Chapter 517. Irresistible Temptation II
“Now,” I continued, leaning back slightly, letting my grin grow wider. “How about we seal the contract and make you my servants? I promise… it won’t that hurt.”
Katrina tilted her head, her sharp gaze fixed on me, suspicion flickering in her eyes. “So the blood… it isn’t the contract?” she asked, her tone cautious but tinged with curiosity. “I thought that was it.”
I shook my head, my grin turning sly. “No, my dear,” I said, my voice low and smooth. “The blood is just the beginning. We need more than that.”
Penelope furrowed her brows, her hands clenching into fists at her sides. “More than that?” she echoed, her voice a mix of defiance and nervous anticipation. “What exactly does ‘more’ mean?”
I leaned forward slightly, resting my elbows on my knees, letting my gaze travel slowly between Penelope and Katrina.
They were both teetering on the edge, caught between curiosity and wariness, craving and control. And I had no intention of letting them off the hook.
“One of the devil’s greatest sins,” I began, my voice smooth, deliberate, “is lust.”
Katrina raised an eyebrow, her body tensing as if she were preparing for me to say something outrageous. Penelope tilted her head slightly, the confusion in her eyes mingling with a flicker of something else, something she wasn’t ready to name.
“So,” I continued, my tone casual, as if we were discussing something as mundane as the weather, “we bind our servants with lust.”
Penelope’s eyes widened, her blush deepening as realization dawned on her. She opened her mouth to speak, but it took a second for the words to come out. “You mean…” Her voice wavered, trailing off as she searched for the right phrasing, though the truth was already sinking in.
I smirked, leaning back slightly, letting my answer linger in the silence before I spoke. “Yes,” I said simply, my voice carrying a hint of dark amusement. “Sex.”
Penelope’s blush deepened to the point that her ears turned red, and she avoided my gaze, though her body betrayed her interest.
Katrina, on the other hand, stiffened, her jaw tightening as her eyes narrowed. She looked ready to argue, to fight against the idea, but she didn’t move away, didn’t back down. That hesitation spoke louder than any words.
“You’re serious,” Katrina finally said, her voice flat, though I could hear the faint tremor beneath her defiance. “That’s… how you seal your contracts?”
I shrugged, keeping my gaze steady on her. “Yup, I’m serious. That’s how the deal works. But I promise it will be worth it. If it wasn’t…” I paused, letting my smirk deepen as I glanced toward Red, who was still seated elegantly, watching her daughters with that knowing look. “…there’s no way I could have kept your mom with me all this time, right?”
Red chuckled softly, her gaze flicking between the twins and me, her satisfaction evident. She leaned back, crossing her legs, as if daring them to challenge my words. “He’s not lying,” she said, her voice smooth and calm. “I’ve stayed by his side not just because of loyalty, but because of what he offers. You’ll never find anything like it elsewhere.”
Katrina looked between us, her jaw tightening as she struggled to process what she was hearing. “So you’re saying this is… what? A lifetime pact? And the price is…” She hesitated, her voice dropping. “Sex?”
I nodded, leaning back in my chair, my smirk turning into a grin. “That’s right. I could satisfy your hunger and your… other appetites.” I let the words roll off my tongue, deliberately slow, savoring the reactions I was drawing out of them. “Think of me as a two-in-one devil.”
Penelope’s blush deepened, her eyes darting anywhere but at me. She bit her lip, shifting uncomfortably as if the room had suddenly become too warm. “This is ridiculous,” she muttered, though her voice lacked conviction.
“Is it?” I asked, tilting my head slightly, my tone teasing but steady. “You’re already feeling the pull, aren’t you? You tasted my blood, and now you can’t stop thinking about what more I could give you. Why fight it?”
Katrina crossed her arms. “You’re awfully confident,” she said, though her voice had lost its sharp edge. There was doubt in her eyes now, a hesitation that she couldn’t hide.
“I am,” I admitted with a grin. “Because I know what I bring to the table.” I extended my hand to them, my gaze steady and inviting, but there was an edge of command in my tone. “Do we have a deal?”
Penelope stared at my hand, her breathing shallow as she wrestled with her thoughts. I could see the conflict in her eyes, the way she was torn between her pride and the undeniable pull of what I was offering. Katrina was no different, her lips pressed into a thin line, her fists clenching and unclenching as she fought the urge to give in.
The room was silent for a moment, save for the faint sound of their breathing. Red finally spoke, her tone soft but firm. “You know he’s right. You’ve already started down this path. There’s no shame in admitting it.”
Katrina turned to her mother, her voice sharp despite the tremor in it. “How can you be so okay with this? You’re just… fine with him making this kind of deal with us?”
Red’s expression softened, and she leaned forward slightly, resting her elbows on her knees. “I’m more than okay with it. This is an opportunity, Katrina. One that most would kill for. And it’s not just about him, it’s about what you’ll gain. Strength. Purpose. A connection to something far greater than yourselves.”
Penelope’s voice was barely a whisper as she finally spoke. “And… you really believe it’s worth it?”
Red’s gaze softened further, and she nodded. “It is worth it. I’ve lived it, Katrina. This isn’t just a choice, it’s a transformation. One you won’t regret.”
Katrina shifted uneasily, her fists clenching as she stared at me, her pride warring with the undeniable pull of what I was offering. Penelope stood beside her, equally tense, her flushed face betraying the storm of emotions she was trying to suppress.
