Chapter 388. Don’t Be Horny!

Seven Sins System Chapter 388. Don't Be Horny!

Once again, the kidnappers lifted our unconscious bodies from the floor. The way they handled me was just as rough as before, dragging me across the cold, hard ground like I was some sort of ragdoll. One of them gripped me with zero care, yanking me around until I was sure I’d have bruises all over my body by the end of this. It was almost like they were competing.

Puriel, on the other hand, didn’t get quite as bad treatment. Two of the goons approached her, grabbing a different part of her body. One held onto her top, while the other gripped her legs, lifting her up with just a little more care than I got. Still, it wasn’t exactly gentle, and I couldn’t help but feel a little pissed about the difference in treatment. I was the one pretending to die, but they still handled me like I was disposable. If I were a real mortal, I’d be dead by now.

Despite the frustration, I forced myself to stay passive. Making a scene wouldn’t help us escape, and that’s what I needed right now. So, I bit my tongue, took the hit, and clung to the hope that our little act would eventually pay off.

‘Heh, mortals,’ I scoffed internally, letting myself enjoy a little smugness despite the awkward position I was in.

They dragged us out of the cell, and it was pretty clear we weren’t headed toward the yard. Instead, they took us toward the garage. A van was parked there, its doors wide open, ready to haul us off to who knows where. I rolled my eyes. Predictable. As if I hadn’t seen that coming.

They shoved me into the van first, and when I hit the floor, it wasn’t exactly the softest landing. I mean, it wasn’t like I was expecting a fluffy pillow or anything, but damn, could they show a little more respect? Then Puriel was tossed onto me, her body landing against mine with all the grace of a sack of potatoes.

I grimaced, trying not to show my discomfort. She landed awkwardly, her body all twisted up in a weird tangle. It was like we were caught in a bad slapstick comedy—completely upside down to each other. Her face was right up against my legs, and her body was sprawled out across mine, making the whole situation even more awkward. The worst part? Her chest was pressed uncomfortably close to my groin. Each bump in the road just made everything worse.

And let’s not even get started on the smell of the van. It was filthy—grime everywhere, the air thick with an unpleasant odor. It was like they couldn’t even be bothered to clean their own transport. This was far from the luxurious life I was used to, but hey, at least it distracted me from how awkward and uncomfortable everything else was.

There we were, two bodies tangled up like a mess of limbs in a filthy van. It was a disaster. For a moment, I couldn’t help but think about how ridiculous it all was. Here I was, a devil who thrived on chaos and mischief, and yet I couldn’t find the humor in this situation. It was so weirdly ironic.

Of course, Puriel probably wasn’t having any fun either. She probably felt even worse than I did. I wasn’t exactly sure how she was holding up, but I could imagine her discomfort. I mean, no one wants to be in this kind of position. And let’s be real, if it were up to me, I’d be the one complaining.

The kidnappers piled into the van, their presence only adding to the cramped space. They slammed the door shut with a loud noise, sealing us in for what was sure to be an uncomfortable ride. The engine roared to life, and the whole van jolted, setting the stage for a long, bumpy journey.

Every bump in the road sent shockwaves through our bodies, and it wasn’t helping the situation. We were jostled around like ragdolls, constantly making contact with each other in ways that just made things more awkward.

The air smelled like old upholstery, oil, and sweat—definitely not the pleasant scent of a five-star hotel. But in a weird way, I was kind of grateful for it. At least it gave me something to focus on other than the awkwardness of Puriel’s body pressed against mine. I couldn’t help but notice the warmth of her body, though. It was... strangely comforting, in a way. But I’d never admit that out loud. That would totally blow our cover.

I quickly snapped myself out of it, repeating a mantra in my head. ‘Don’t be horny. Don’t be horny. Don’t be horny.’ I tried to ignore the way her body felt pressed so close to mine, and I definitely didn’t want to think about the fact that, if she were a succubus, my devilish instincts would be a lot harder to control. But she wasn’t, and I knew better than to test the limits. She had made it clear before that her divine abilities could turn my manhood into literal ashes. The thought made my body go cold.

Still, my body wasn’t listening to reason. The more we bumped around in the van, the more I couldn’t deny that some part of me was... responding to her proximity. It was maddening. I tried to focus on the danger of giving in to temptation, but the desire kept creeping in, and no matter how hard I tried to suppress it, I couldn’t get rid of it.

But I wasn’t about to let myself be that stupid. ‘Stay focused,’ I reminded myself. There was no way I was going to let something as trivial as lust mess up our escape. I just had to survive this. And somehow, I’d figure out how to get out of this mess—without letting Puriel know how much I was struggling to control myself.
