Chapter 384. Hey, Wanna Bang?

Seven Sins System Chapter 384. Hey, Wanna Bang?

Luckily, I had a few tricks up my sleeve. I could always sneak out for a bite to eat if things got too dire. All it took was a quick switcheroo with my clone, and I could slip out unnoticed. It was a handy little trick that had served me well in the past, and I wasn't about to let a stint in captivity stop me from enjoying a decent meal.

But while hunger was something I could handle, sleeping on hard floors was another matter entirely. My devilish back wasn't exactly built for discomfort, and I found myself tossing and turning throughout the night, unable to find a comfortable position. It was like trying to catch some shut-eye on a bed of nails.

And then there was the boredom. Oh, the boredom. We were stuck in that cell with nothing to do but twiddle our thumbs and wait for our captors to make their move. It was enough to drive a devil mad.

As strange as it sounds, being trapped together actually brought Puriel and me closer in a weird sort of way. At first, it was like pulling teeth trying to start a conversation. Imagine making small talk with someone she has spent centuries trying to vanquish. But as the hours stretched on and boredom set in, we found ourselves opening up to each other more and more.

It was awkward at first, no doubt about it. We'd sit there in silence for what felt like hours, stealing glances at each other out of the corners of our eyes, not quite sure what to say. But slowly, bit by bit, we started to find common ground. We'd talk about our likes and dislikes, anything to pass the time.

It wasn't half bad. Sure, we still had our moments of tension and awkwardness, but underneath it all, there was a strange sort of camaraderie forming between us. It was like we were two strangers stuck in an elevator, forced to make conversation to pass the time.

The third day of captivity felt like an eternity. The monotony was suffocating, and I was desperate for something, anything, to break the endless cycle of boredom. So, in a moment of sheer desperation, I blurted out the first thing that came to mind.

"Hey, wanna bang?" I asked, my voice flat and devoid of any real enthusiasm. It wasn't like I actually wanted to do anything with Puriel; I was just so bored that I was grasping at straws for entertainment.

Puriel glanced at me, her expression mirroring my own sense of ennui. With a long exhale, she responded in kind, her tone just as flat as mine. "Sounds like a good idea. Come here, I will melt your dick away," she said, her words laced with a challenge.

I couldn't help but chuckle at her response. It was classic Puriel – always quick with a sharp retort, even in the most dire of situations. It felt more like a sigh than genuine laughter. The truth was, there was nothing remotely enjoyable about our situation, and my attempt at levity fell flat.

"Sounds nice," I said, my voice devoid of any real enthusiasm. I extended my hand toward her. But quickly, I let my hand drop as if the effort felt too exhausting to sustain.

With another exhale, I found myself resorting to more of my trademark devilish banter. "I'm too lazy to move. I think I'm gonna die. But I don't want to die as a virgin. Please give me a BJ before I die," I joked.

Puriel's response was as casual as ever. "Then die," she quipped, shaking her head in amusement. "May the goddess of chastity bless you," she added, her smile wry and knowing.

"Yeah, I hope I could bang her in the afterlife," I retorted with a dark chuckle, feigning death as a final flourish to my morbid joke.

She shook her head again, this time in response to my melodramatic plea. "I should've brought my phone and recorded you. I'm sure your subordinates and your friends would get a kick out of your antics," she teased.

"Go ahead, it might go viral," I quipped nonchalantly.  With a sigh, I turned to her, my expression serious despite the underlying boredom that gnawed at me. "Wait… Does that mean I can kill those kidnappers?" I asked, the words coming out in a monotone. "I'm seriously almost dying of boredom here," I added, a hint of desperation seeping into my voice.

But Puriel was quick to remind me of our agreement, her tone firm and unwavering. "You must not kill mortals. Remember the agreement," she reiterated, her words carrying a weight of moral responsibility.

I let out another sigh, running a hand through my hair in frustration. "Then at least entertain me," I pleaded, the boredom becoming increasingly unbearable.

"How?" she asked me.

I leaned back against the wall. "How about sharing some stories from your realm? I mean, it's better than just sitting here doing nothing," I suggested, hoping to coax some entertainment and information out of her.

But she saw right through my attempt. "Nice try, Azrael. But you know that won't work, right?" she retorted, her tone laced with amusement.

I let out a defeated sigh. ‘Yeah, right,’ I admitted internally, running a hand through my hair in frustration once again. It seemed my attempts to break the monotony were futile.

With nothing else to do, I resigned myself to the dullness of our situation. We were stuck in this dreary cell, with no end in sight. It was times like these that I wished for some excitement, some action to break up the tedium. But for now, it seemed I would have to settle for the mundane.
