Pleased with the initial test, Horyu deactivated his Sharingan, feeling a slight strain around his eyes. It was a reminder that despite the power of the Uchiha's bloodline, he was still bound by physical limitations.

He then looked at the percentage of the Mangekyo Sharingan and further. "Wait, does this mean I can awaken them just like that by increasing the percentage? And I don't need the regular triggers?" But the system didn't answer his query. It never did. Horyu sighed and went to bed. He felt tired.

At the same time, in the Hokage building, a few Jonin were standing in front of Hokage Shisui. The air was tense with anticipation. Shisui looked at the gathered group, his eyes serious. "I believe you can all guess why I called you here."

Itachi, the Jonin Sensei of Team 7, Kurenai, the Jonin Sensei of Team 8, Asuma, the Jonin Sensei of Team 10, Guy, the Jonin Sensei of Team Guy, and several others nodded.

Asuma broke the silence, his voice curious. "I saw some Genin from other villages. A few important ones as well. Is this one of those?"

Shisui nodded, his expression solemn. "I invited four Kage to have a Five Kage Summit to talk things through. The lord of the Land of Samurai will arrive as well to oversee the meeting, and all villages brought their key Genin. I want Konoha to shine through in this exam."

The room buzzed with whispers, the significance of the event not lost on anyone. Shisui continued, "Come forward to make your decisions."

Itachi stepped up first, his demeanor calm and collected. "Team 7, under the guidance of myself, Uchiha Itachi, composed of Uchiha Sasuke, Haruno Sakura, and Inuzuka Kiba, shall participate in the Chunin Examinations." He took a step back, his eyes showing a hint of pride in his team.

Kurenai followed, her voice steady and confident. "Team 8, under the guidance of myself, Yuhi Kurenai, composed of Uchiha Horyu, Hyuga Hinata, and Aburame Shino, shall participate in the Chunin Examinations." She too took a step back.

Asuma came forward next, his stance relaxed yet authoritative. "Team 10, under the guidance of myself, Sarutobi Asuma, composed of Nara Shikamaru, Yamanaka Ino, and Akimichi Choji, shall participate in the Chunin Examinations."

The room fell into a hushed silence, the gravity of the situation setting in. "All three rookie teams," a Chunin gasped from the side. Iruka, present among the onlookers, wanted to say something, but he held his tongue, as Shisui nodded in approval.

Guy then stepped forward, his characteristic enthusiasm tempered by the solemnity of the occasion. "Team Guy, under the guidance of myself, Might Guy, composed of Hyuga Neji, Tenten, and Rock Lee, shall participate in the Chunin Examinations."

Shisui stood up, his presence commanding attention. "Very well. I expect nothing less than the best." His voice carried a weight of expectation, a challenge to the young shinobi of Konoha to rise to the occasion.

The meeting dispersed with a sense of purpose. Each Jonin Sensei left with the responsibility of preparing their teams for the challenges ahead. The Chunin Exams were more than just a test of skill; they were a display of Konoha's strength and the potential of its next generation.

Back at home, Horyu was jolted awake by the familiar ping of a new quest alert. Groaning, he sat up, rubbing his eyes before focusing on the screen materializing in front of him. The glow of the system interface cut through the darkness of his room, revealing the details of the quest.

Looking at the quest, Horyu let out a low whistle, "Not bad." The Chunin Exams were not just a test of skill but a battlefield for political maneuvers and showcasing the power of each village. He then focused on the rewards, intrigued by the new concept of 'perks'. "What are perks though? It is my first time seeing it." As usual, the system remained silent, offering no explanation. "Probably a new feature like titles. Not bad. Not bad at all."

Horyu scrutinized the subquests, analyzing which ones he could complete together and which might require him to choose one over the other. For the written test, he had two options: complete it flawlessly on his own merit or use deception to gather answers. While he was confident in his intellect, the latter appealed to his cunning nature. However, the risk of being caught cheating was a factor he couldn't ignore.

In the Forest of Death, the 'Master Tracker' and 'Undetected Predator' subquests seemed to complement each other. His skills in stealth and observation would allow him to track and ambush other teams without being detected himself. He nodded to himself, "These should work together."

The preliminary matches posed a different challenge. The 'Master of the Arena' required him to use a combination of jutsu types, while 'Ultimate Strategist' and 'Adaptable Warrior' focused on outmaneuvering the opponent. "These don't clash," he mused, "but they require different approaches. The 'Adaptable Warrior' seems more in line with my style."

For the final round, the subquests varied significantly. 'The Unyielding', 'Master of Elements', 'The Illusionist', 'Kinjutsu User', and 'Indomitable Spirit' each presented unique challenges. "It's unlikely I'll be able to complete all of these," he thought. "I'll need to adapt on the spot and see which opportunities present themselves."

He then said to himself, "There is one more option." He looked at the ceiling, pondering deeply. "Forgoing all these quests." He clenched his fist, his mind racing with the implications of such a decision. "Do I want to put myself under the spotlight?"
