Chapter 127: The Last Struggle
-----
The power of this jewel was not simple at all; as the message said before, I utilized its powers; this was one of the eyes of the Seamless Abyss! It wasn’t even a piece of equipment or something; it was merely a black jewel, but by just holding it and imbuing Cosmic Energy into it, an aura covered my body, making me invisible for 30 seconds.
And not just the simplest way of invisibility, because Blednica would be able to easily detect me if it merely made me visually invisible. No, it made my presence completely disappear; not even my odor or my body sounds could be smelled or heard.
It was an absolute erasure of presence! Of everything!
True Invisibility!
The only way for her to detect me would be the moment I actually hit her, so it’s not going to be easy for her, no matter how strong she has become by absorbing a part of my Soul Energy and Life Force with that half-assed Sacrificial Magic Circle.
And that’s why attacking her with a single, strong hit will be much better than throwing several attacks at once!
{Thousand Blades}: {Eclipsing Sun}!
I gathered the Blade Ki provoked by the several slashing attacks that I contained with my own Aura and fused them together, combining them with the Spells on my hands, as I spun in midair, descending towards Blednica as she frantically tried to look for me.
SLAAASH!
“UURRGHHH…?!”
She was quickly slashed in two halves, and this time, not just her blood, but her very soul was sliced apart as well!
“M-My soul… YOU!”
Her two halves fused back together as they transformed into countless human-like heads, opening their jaws monstrously and attempting to devour me!
CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!
Their closing jaws barely managed to not bite my body as I flew back, and then spun around the skies. There were still a few more seconds of invisibility!
I have to hit her with an even stronger blow than before! Something that’ll leave her very weakened. Because even with the damn Anubis Judgement debuffing her through the roof, she’s still incredibly tenacious.
“Come on. Come on…!”
I continued gathering Cosmic, Celestial, Spiritual, Magic, and Ki Energies together into both Gram and the Scythe as I decided to activate Gram’s {Balance Mode}!
FLASH!
Both elemental auras converged, and as Gram took on the appearance of both a holy sword and a demonic sword, completely full of power, he was ready.
By converging all these energies, all these skills, and everything within the depths of my soul and even within the black jewel in my pocket...
Something, something emerged!
Enlightenment, as if all these connections fused, becoming a singular power, a singular technique—no, something deeper than that.
A deeper, enlightened understanding of the sword and the cosmos.
Is this... the principle of a Dao?!
Then…!
“Where are you?! WHERE ARE YOU?!”
Blednica kept monstrously shapeshifting, her body constantly expanding as she kept looking for me. Her tentacles constantly tried to catch me as I evaded her blows and kept charging the power into both of my weapons.
The convergence of everything I know... It is coming out! Just a little more... a little more!
“YOU RAT! STOP ESCAPING MY GRASP!”
Blednica lost it, her entire blood-made body expanding everywhere aberrantly. With hundreds of thousands of tendrils and appendages spreading across hundreds of meters, she was constantly becoming a larger threat as time went by!
I had to stop her now or never!
FLUOSH!
Suddenly, a mass of energies was born from both Gram and the Scythe, converging together into a long sword made of stars.
“RAAAAHHH!”
Blednica could not detect me, yet somehow managed to reach me with her countless tendrils as she tried to simply expand everywhere at once.
At the same time, I pointed the huge sword made of stars and descended towards her, putting my life and mana into this attack as my body quickly transformed, gaining golden fur and giving me the slight appearance of a golden cat. The Half-Demonic Beast Transformation further boosted my power as I sacrificed everything I had for this shot!
{Thousand Blades}: {Celestial Blade Cosmos}!
SLAAASH!
The moment I slashed Blednica, a huge piercing light made of bluish and starlight energies erupted, slicing through her entire soul and body, and then piercing through space itself, opening a huge hole in the fabric of reality as an enormous wave of cosmic energy materialized!
“W-What the…?! What is this?! UGH…!”
Blednica screamed in agony as she found herself trapped in a strange world—a cosmos made of swords that materialized as I put it all into this ultimate technique.
Not even I was sure of what I had conjured... but this was the pinnacle of what I could achieve!
Thousands of blades made of cosmic energy and stars started flashing through the domain, piercing Blednica’s soul as she constantly struggled to keep herself alive.
Her soul was constantly being reduced into smaller and smaller pieces, shattering like pieces of glass. My body was moving on its own as each swing of my blades made it possible for these swords made of cosmic energy to move towards her!
“YOU!”
Blednica noticed my invisibility had worn out, but it was too late now.
Another sword pierced her head, splitting it in half.
Her entire body started bubbling and constantly growing new heads.
However, yet another dozen blades pierced her, cutting her apart again.
Her soul was being ground constantly, cut down further and further into pieces!
“S-STOP…! I want to see my brother! I WANT TO SEE HIM!”
CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!
“ARGH…!”
However, three blades pierced her head, splitting them apart even more!
“You want to see your brother?! Do you think that justifies killing so many people who had nothing to do with this?! Do you think I’ll empathize with you because of that?!”
The bubble made of cosmic energy suddenly started to compress around Blednica, her monstrous body growing hundreds of arms and claws, slowly trying to tear it all apart!
“LET ME SEE HIM! LET ME SEE MY BROTHER…! MY BROTHEEERRRRRR…!”
“Don’t worry, you’ll see him soon.” I smiled, my eyes glowing bright blue as I spent every little bit of Cosmic Energy I had saved until this point.
FLASH!!!
I condensed the last bits of energy into a gigantic blade, as I pierced Blednica’s very soul core and shattered her existence into countless pieces!
“In hell, of course!”
CRASH!
“UUAARGH!”
Her agonizing screams resonated across the desolate Realm of the Demons, the skies above rumbled rapidly as her monstrous body kept fighting back as I shattered her soul into countless pieces, covering my entire body!
“Ugh…! You’re still going at it?! Just give up already! Enough is enough!”
“NEVER… NEVEERRRRR…!”
Her tenacity knew no bounds, as I felt the {Presence} of the Bleeding Scream interfering with her death! Was that thing trying to keep her alive no matter what?!
Her blood started spreading across my body, constantly beginning to pierce my skin, draining my blood, and making my HP continuously pummel down!
If it wasn’t for Healing Touch, I would have already died from this alone!
“You fucking…! Tenacious… BITCH! {Rise}!”
At that moment, I decided to bring out another of my trump cards. The moment I shouted that simple word, a wave of death energy emerged from my heart as my Inventory opened, summoning hundreds of corpses.
They were the corpses of all the Blood Thralls and Blood Knights we had slain and hunted, which quickly were imbued with my leftover energies, and even Spiritual energy, overflowing with new power and temporarily rising as Undead around us!
[The Effects of the [Ruler of the Dead (S)] Skill have taken effect!]
[The Corpses of Blood Thralls and Blood Knights have accepted your offering of Spirit Energy!]
[You have raised several [Abyssal Undead Vampires (A++ Rank)] and [Necrotic Blood Thralls (A+ Rank)]!]
[Their hatred for the one that brought this fate upon them has made them temporarily stronger, increasing their Attack Power when fighting Blednica by +100%!]
“W-Wha…?! What is this trick now?! ARGH…! UUGH?!”
Blednica was shocked as her formless body was suddenly grabbed and wrapped by hundreds of Undead Soldiers! All her knights and all the innocent people she turned into abominations came to give her their goodbye gifts!
“Who are they, you ask?!” I roared; my sword tightly stuck within her shattered soul. “They’re all the damn people you’ve brought down to meet your fucking brother, Blednica! They’re all the people that you’ve cursed with horrible fates! It is all YOUR FAULT! And it’s time for you to pay for what you’ve fucking done!”
“YOU!”
“You promised us prosperity, yet you only brought us doom!”
“You sacrificed my soul despite having sworn loyalty to you!”
“Treacherous witch!”
“KILL THE WITCH!”
“You turned my daughter into a monster!”
“You forced Daddy to eat me alive!”
“DRAG HER DOWN WITH US!
“We don’t care about your brother; you’ll die without seeing him!”
“KILL HER!”
The Undead roared, their empty eyes overflowing with phantasmal flames as they grabbed Blednica’s gigantic body. Even if she was made of pure blood, they were somehow capable of holding her in place, as if their powers could seal her blood in place.
“UGH! LET ME GO! YOU PESTS!” Blednica screamed. “You’re nothing but TRASH, steppingstones!”
She summoned hundreds of Crimson Spears and Blood Swords, crushing the hundreds of Undead one after another, all while I kept imbuing energy into both of my weapons, constantly shattering her soul more and more.
However, as this happened, her blood kept tightly wrapping itself around my arms and legs, draining my blood like some damn parasite!
If this stalemate continues, she’ll win in the end!
Don’t I have anything else with me- Ah!
FLASH!
Suddenly, a golden monocle was summoned to my right eye, as it glowed with a divine aura, imbuing itself into my red earrings!
[You’ve activated the effects of the [Abraham’s Lincoln Monocle] Ability [President’s Authority]!]
[By exchanging 250 Durability, the Cooldown of the [Blood Demon Earrings (A+ Rank)] Ability [Blood Absorption Barrier] has been reset!]
[Can only be used once every 7 days.]
[The Special Ability of the [Blood Demon Earrings (A+ Rank)], [Blood Absorption Barrier] has been activated!]
[By sacrificing -100 Durability, a Barrier that absorbs 70% of all Blood Attribute Magic will be created for 10 Minutes. 30% of absorbed blood will restore the user’s HP and MP.]
[Can be used only once a day.]
A barrier around my entire body was formed, absorbing Blednica’s blood around my arms and legs, and freeing me from her parasitic grasp!
“Uuurrgh?! W-What…?!” Blednica panicked. “You’re… absorbing my blood?! I-IMPOSSIBLE!”
It couldn’t completely absorb her blood, only the blood wrapped around my body, but that was enough to scare her, opening the way for my last burst of energy to erupt from both of my weapons!
Crack, crack…!
“S-Stop…! STOP!”
Crack, CRACK!
“Y-You can’t just…! After everything I’ve done…!”
Blednica kept screaming, the Undead continuously dragging her down and absorbing her life force by touching her body.
CRACK, CRACK!
And her soul kept shattering more and more; her core, where my two weapons were stuck, was finally giving in!
“YOU CAN’T JUST…!”
“I can, and I WILL!” I roared. “This is for everyone you’ve wronged, Blednica… This is your Karma!”
“UGH! NO!”
Without hesitating, I kicked her stupid face one last time, as both of my weapons completely pierced through her Soul Core, the crystallization of a powerful being’s soul!
CRAAASH!
“S-Stop…! STOOOP!”
Her last scream was the very last this time, the entire sky above suddenly cleared, and the black hole where The Bleeding Scream was trying to digest the planet closed, her Presence completely gone!
However, the over-accumulation of energies within both of my weapons crushing through Blednica’s soul was too much, provoking a huge burst, an explosion right as I killed her.
BOOOMMM!!!
And in that moment, everything became pitch black…
[The Bleeding Scream] says that they will remember this…]
[The Seamless Abyss] is watching you, no emotions can be detected other than a calm, acknowledging silence.]
