Entry 2: System [01]

"Ugh."

Groggily raising his head from atop the cold surface of a black paint-coated desk, a young man with chubby cheeks and a large bruise from conking out on the desk the night prior sat upright. Looking into the reflective desktop screen in front of him, he was able to make out an unruly mop of dark-brown hair above a face with a slowly-disappearing jawline and full cheeks.

"I'm so hungry that I've started to see things now." He thought out loud, as memories of a time before he was so morbidly obese flashed before his eyes.

'Hm? I don't… feel hungry? Huh…!' The youth finally realised that what he was seeing was not actually a dream, as his brows furrowed in the reflection. Quickly he pinched himself to leave the torturous fallacy that his mind had made up, but no matter the number of times he twisted and turned the extra skin on his arm, he did not find his surroundings to revert back to how they were. On the contrary, his face just contorted into a frown, as the pain he was not used to was transmitted from his brain.

'Don't… No! This can't be… Is this really?!'

"I've actually transmigrated!"

[Ding! System Initialising.]

[System has fused with the host.]

[Welcome! You have been chosen as the Host of the Sex Recompense System.]

As though dazed and looking into the void, the young man appeared to be staring at nothing. And dazed he was, as lines of blue text appeared before him like they were being typed on the monitor that was space itself.

[By the grace of a Higher Entity, Host has been rewarded the SR system]

[Host may access the system panel when you wish to do so.]

"Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. What. The. Fuck." The 38-turned-18-year-old couldn't help but utter, as the endless onslaught of system text flitted across his vision. He knew what a system entailed, and the unimaginable cheat-like powers main characters gained from their systems after having read several isekai novels in his past life. But the burning question that arose within his mind was…

'Am I the main character of a novel, now?'

— — —

Putting aside the idiotic thought and gathering his bearings, the young man quickly remembered the final system message that had appeared reminding himself to access the system panel. He had read several types of isekai-system novels in his time, and not all of them had started with a peaceful first chapter. If he just so happened to have been thrown into the middle of some dungeon, that lay waiting for him outside the door of the room he was in, then he could be in for some dangerous troubles.

Deciding to put away his inhibitions at talking to the empty sky like a schizophrenic patient, the young man called out "Display system… interface?"

[Displaying system panel.]

Samuel felt like an arrow was shot through his unprotected heart at the incessant poor evaluations of the system.

'System… did you really have to do me like that?'

[Evaluations were displayed so that the Host has an understanding of his current constitution. In the future, the system panel will be displayed without evaluations.]

"I see. Well… thanks, I guess?"

[You're welcome, Host]

Samuel wasn't actually so butt hurt over some evaluations, given the fact that he could barely make it off his bed in his past life. To be honest, Samuel was extremely grateful towards the system for giving it the chance to transmigrate to another world (as he assumed). Truly, the only reason he asked was to see if he could transmit his thoughts to the system rather than having to speak each of his commands out loud- and he was successful in his endeavour.

Still thinking over his transmigration, he wondered what type of world he was sent to.

'Surely it's a modern world, right? I mean… I woke up to a literal desktop… desktop?'

Samuel's eyes widened in confusion and disbelief as he rapidly brought his attention back to the desk he found himself to have woken up on. The chime of the system was drowned out in his mind, as the youth realised his actual circumstances.

[Ding! Host has not transmigrated. Host has regressed 20 years into the past.]

Before he could let the revelation get to him, Samuel quickly took in a deep breath in and out. At this juncture, it would be best to remain level-headed. He would leave all the emotional baggage to future him. For now, he had a system to unpick and he would damn well be unpicking every detail of a literal sex system.

'I mean I basically understand all of the constitution. It's just displaying my body's physiology. But I'm slightly confused about the max health and stamina. How does that differ to the normal health and stamina?'

[Max health and max stamina stats are the limiters for the health and stamina bars.]

'I see. So if I was to raise my max health and stamina, the normal values would not be affected.'

[Host is correct. Current health and stamina will always remain at a value of 100.]

'Cool. I'll keep that in mind. Could you explain the bottom section of the panel?'

[Yes, Host. SR points are points earned when carrying out certain activities or completing missions and achievements that reward SRP. Skills can be earned…]

"Hold on a second! You didn't say what activities bring in the SRP. Hehe… surely they're related to sex, right?"

[Host is indeed correct. Displaying relevant sexual activities:]

[Kissing: 5]

[Handjob/Fingering: 5]

[Oral Sex (Cunnilingus/Fellatio): 15]

[Vaginal Sex: 50]

[Anal Sex: 10]

[BDSM: 5-25]

[Impregnation: 100]

[Creampie: 25]

[Bukkake: 5]

[Hickey: 10]

[You may gain the points for each sexual act any number of times per woman per day.]

'Wow. Seeing it in front of me makes this all seem so much more real.'

Samuel marvelled at the reality of his situation. Living as a virgin for 38 years of his life was not the best for his mental upbringing, and he was genuinely excited that sooner or later he actually would be able to get some.

Thinking over his appearance and his lacking male qualities, the young man wondered if he would actually be able to get laid. But upon reflection, he realised that it did not actually matter. He knew that systems rewarded those that earned points handsomely, and so he resolved himself to commit heinous acts in order to fu- gain SR points.

Having gone through death once, he felt a lot of the moral locks on his behaviour had been shattered. It was a feeling similar to when a human gave in to their desires when the purge alarm sounded.

'But what's with Vaginal sex being worth so much more than anal sex? System?'

[Points assigned to each sexual activity have been created based on Host's current tastes.]

'I see. Hm… I guess that makes sense. From what I know anal is a lot of hassle for diminishing returns. Yep… I would definitely value leaving hickeys as the same as anal. And I don't even want to think about the impregnation points. Who knew I had such a fetish? Not me, for sure.'

[…]

Samuel just looked away from the system text in a show of ignorance. Unfortunately for him, the message followed his line of sight and continued to torment his once-haughty gait.

"Sam! Bree! Come downstairs! Dinner's ready!"

'Ah fuck! Now to deal with the can of worms that is my family.' Samuel thought as his face lost all colour.
