2. Birthday Present?
“Seriously, knock next time.”
I pout as Choko Aburame, my stepmother, leads me through the clan compound. She wears a high-collared dress and black glasses. Her long brown hair cascades over slender shoulders and tremendous breasts. Walking behind her, my eyes are constantly drawn to the hypnotic movement of her curvaceous ass and thick thighs. In short, she's a total milf.
I’ve never looked at her like this before, even though we’re not related by blood. After regaining my reincarnation memories this morning, I awakened to the mature appeal of this absolute hottie in my house.
“Don’t be embarrassed, dear. That kind of curiosity is natural at your age. I’m so proud my little girl has grown into an adult woman!”
What part of experimenting with clones is ‘natural?’
I roll my eyes. “So, what’s this about?”
“You’re going to pick out your birthday present, Shino-chan!”
What kind of present does a ninja clan give the heiress of the main family? Part of me is afraid to find out, not that I have much choice. Choko didn’t give me more than half a minute to don my high-collared coat and dark glasses before she ushered me out the door.
The Aburame clan compound sure is huge! Not that surprising since they’re one of Konoha’s top ninja clans, but you never got to see much of it in the Anime. Come to think of it, Shino’s mom didn’t appear in the Anime either. I guess most of the Aburame clan wasn’t important enough to the story; Kishimoto-san must have considered them as little more than a footnote that wouldn’t amount to much in the plot.
That’s depressing. Why did I pick such a minor character for my reincarnation?
As we walk through the hallways, I see several people I recognize from this body's memories:
I spot Ari, a first cousin on my biological mother’s side, walking in the opposite direction; she looks like me, but with slightly smaller boobs (C-cup) and thinner thighs. Not as sexy as me, but slender and still smoking hot as fuck even in civilian clothes. I recall that we grew up together, though she doesn't have much ninja talent. Ari makes eye-contact with me, and seems about to say something, but a glance at Choko sends her scurrying away like a mouse that spotted the cat.
Further along, we come across Imomushi, one of my branch family second cousins on my father's side. She's a typical Aburame woman with brown hair, dark glasses, and a high-collared coat. She bows to Choko as we pass without lifting her head for a moment. So deferential!
On the stairs is Auntie Mimizu, another brown-haired beauty with a high-collared coat. She removes her dark glasses to wink her sultry eyes at me and blow a playful kiss at us with her plump lips. She has some heft to her curves and a pair of bouncy bazongas I find udderly hypnotizing. From this body's memories, she's one of the nameless Aburame kunoichi who act as spies and assassins for Konoha.
None of these women appeared in the Anime. I suppose I need to confront the fact that this world is 'real.' I mean, duh. Of course there are going to be tons of people I don't recognize from my knowledge of Kishimoto-san's work.
Choko leads me downstairs deeper into the compound’s underground facilities and I realize where we’re going. The Nursery.
We emerge into a dimly lit room that smells like mushrooms, composting leaves, and wet bark where branch family members cultivate hundreds of insect breeds. “At birth, everyone in the main family becomes host to a colony of Parasitic Insects. These chakra-eating bugs are the staple of the Aburame clan, but they have limits at the level of elite ninja and beyond.”
I couldn’t argue with that. Anime-Shino and the Aburame were never in the same league as the Hyuga clan, let alone cheat-code-level Sharingan shenanigans from late in the series.
“Even your father, Shibi-kun, the ‘pride of Aburame’ struggles to prove himself among the Konoha Jonin.” I’d never heard stepmother talk about dad’s problems like this before. She points at a jar filled with purple liquid that sloshes and ripples on its own. “Torune-kun had great potential with his Phosphorus Destruction Insects, until Danzo-san snatched him up.”
I stay far away from the jar. The antibodies necessary to host those insects are rare; the Aburame clan has many cases from our history of ninjas trying and failing to wield the swarm of nano-sized insects.
We pass an enclosure with tiny beetles crawling over a rotting log. “The Parasitic Giant Beetles are an option for you but require exquisite chakra control. Many a poor Aburame has been consumed by them from the inside-out.” Choko frowns at my apprehension, sensing my lack of confidence. “Maybe when you’re older. On the other hand, you could sign a contract to summon giant insects. Their problem, of course, is the tremendous cost of chakra.”
Right, the reason Naruto could summon giant toads was because of all the chakra he got from hosting the Nine-Tails. Some of my memories are fuzzy, especially later seasons, but I know that much.
“If none of those are going to work for me,” I say, “What can I use?” Though I guess Anime-Shino didn’t get anything besides the basic-bitch bug set at first, so I can’t expect much at my level.
“That’s what we’re here to test. Welcome to the Neoteny section.”
Where the previous habitats mimicked the forest floor, the enclosures here have the clinical sterility of a lab. Dozens of grubs and larva occupy small single-occupant glass cages. Branch family members tend to the insects with spray bottles, forceps, and eyedroppers of nutrient solution.
“For generations, we’ve bred highly specialized insects to perform specific tasks,” Choko explains with gleeful enthusiasm, gesturing with her arms as we walk. “They never metamorphize into adulthood, making them useless in combat, but they’re unparalleled in certain arenas. Their drawback is also a main feature—they can’t survive without blood from the Aburame clan.
“And not just any clan member. You’ve got to have the right smell, or they won’t bond with you. Some of us have it and some don’t. Shibi-kun and Torune-kun were unlucky. Go on, give it a try.”
Hesitantly, I wave my hand over a grub, not sure what to expect. No reaction. Choko leads me from enclosure to enclosure. My anticipation builds with each failure until one of the larvae squeals and squirms at my approach. It’s kind of cute.
That’s when it hits me. I remember why I asked old man Deus to make me an Aburame. Bugs are awesome! Creepy-crawlies can’t make me flinch. This really is my own personal heaven! I imagine a bearded figure giving me a solemn nod of approval.
Choko shrieks with excitement. “That’s a Pheromone Insect, my personal life’s work! Unfortunately, I’ve never been able to bond with one. I’m so proud; you’re going to be a splendid kunoichi!”
I smile at her and ask, “What’s it do?”
“It allows you to influence people with subtle, scent-based genjutsu. We’ll implant it later.”
“Implant?” Where does Choko intend to stick that thing?
“Oh, I suppose I forgot to mention everything in the Neoteny section are body-modification insects. I did say they’re useless in combat as-is. The Pheromone insect makes its burrow in the soft tissue of the armpit.”
As painful as that sounds, I’m eager to get a leg up on Anime-Shino. I’ll take every edge if I eventually have to fight Akatsuki members. Wait, what’s Akatsuki? I think I got a flash of Anime lore! Too bad I didn’t get more, or maybe I could warn Konoha of what’s coming.
Choko continues to parade me through the line of grubs while searching for a reaction. Finally, we reach a box of shiny blue larvae that twitches and rolls as I come near. My stepmother bursts into tears and hugs me.
“This is everything I could have hoped for. Those are Deep Dwelling Insects! The forbidden secret of our clan! They allow the user to manipulate bloodlines and copy Kekkei Genkai. You’re what we’ve been waiting for—a chance to make the Aburame great again!”
Holy shit, the ability to copy Kekkei Genkai sounds broken as fuck! Eat my dust, Anime-Shino! Stupid-powerful Reincarnation talent here I come!
Choko grabs my hand and leads me away from the Nursery at a run.
“Where are we going?”
“To the implantation room. I’m also a Deep Dwelling Insect user, though I was sadly never able to fulfill its potential, so I can perform the ceremony myself.”
I suddenly have a bad feeling.
“Where does the Deep Dwelling Insect get implanted?”
I follow Choko into a sparse, undecorated bedroom. Before I get an answer she locks the door behind us. “The uterus.”
Choko’s dress falls to the floor. I don’t get a chance to appreciate the sexy figure in front of me as what emerges from her vagina distracts me. It’s blue with a texture like an engorged larva abdomen but looks like nothing more than a big fat cock.
“Happy Birthday, Shino-chan.”
I remember now, the reason I was reincarnated!
“The most deviant and perverted souls must purge their worldly desires through reincarnation before they continue their journey on the Wheel of Samsara. Choose the method of your cleansing.”
This has to be a nightmare! How was I supposed to know what would happen when I chose the world of Naruto as punishment for my perverted life? Kishimoto-san, you never told us the Aburame clan was full of futanari!
I imagine a bearded figure flipping me the bird.
Fuck.
