Chapter 6

Freya POV

I finally completed the bracelet with this I can at least guarantee her safety. The unassuming bracelet felt cool to the touch, its brass texture and colour add onto its facade of being just an ordinary simple looking bracelet, yet deep within its metallic core lays a vast magical array capable of manipulating time. Well what can you expect from someone who's as great as me, ordinary mages would not even notice that this is a powerful artefact.

Luckily the Empire is peaceful albeit with dark undercurrents happening in the background so asking for a month leave from the Grand Sage was relatively simple, it also helps the fact that they wanted me to check out the situation at the Tribe Lands secretly. After the great war 20 years ago and the peace treaty signed ending the five-year war. The Empire and the Tribe Lands has lived with relative peace with each other albeit with small skirmishes every now and again, a five-year war breeds unreconcilable hatred after all, even now the effect of that hasn't completely diminished but compared to before it has simmered down a little.

But there are rumours that a civil war is happening right now. An ambitious leader of the Ascator Tribe has been making waves and plan to unite all the scattered tribe once again. No wonder the Emperor feels uneasy because last time someone united all the tribes in one banner; a great war happened. If war breaks out again I don't think the Empire will be able to withstand the blow especially with the nobles having separate control in different parts of the empire each with their own self-interest, so working together to defend the empire is definitely an impossibility. They have grown arrogant with time and thinking that the empire is invincible. Well, it might look like that from the outside but a strong sturdy tree-like the empire will fall eventually if it is rotten on the inside; just a few quick fatal blows would be enough.

Well it's not like it's my problem, I will just do the job I'm assigned to and whatever happens, I'll leave it up to fate. Looking to the side the warm glow of the sun cascading onto the world below visible from the window tells me that its afternoon and I have a brief respite before my lesson on magic with Princess Emilia starts. I wonder how the slave is doing; I smiled knowing that she would be bored out of her mind. I retrieve a small crystal then activated it, it glowed with a small flash of light then showed a still image of a small petite girl wearing a skimpy maid uniform sporting a blissful smile with her mouth stuffed with food.

Ahh~ look at that blissful adorable face.. I could just eat her whole.. looking so sweet like that I have to be careful I don't contract diabetes.

Stopping just outside my room, I opened the door slowly. Peeking inside I notice the still form of my slave her head slumped slightly to the side, her eyes close and her mouth slightly open. A drool was slowly forming on the side of her mouth just about to trickle to the side. I sighed tenderly and walked in. The gentle breeze that found its way into my room was playing tussle with her soft black hair. I stood still for a moment and just enjoyed the peaceful serenity of the room. Automatically I find myself reaching for the crystal in my pocket and positioned myself to snap her picture. I smiled in contentment after the deed was done and I slowly made myself towards her in a trance.

I found myself brushing back the long fringe that was slightly covering her eyes to the side. Her elongated eyelashes flutter quietly with the gentle blow of the wind. Now on all fours on top of the bed, I brush my thumb lightly over her doughy cheek and I marvel at how soft and delicate she is. Like a drug addict who hasn't taken her drugs in years, I find myself leaning forward with my tongue out lapping her drool.

Sweet.. why do her bodily fluids taste so sweet!? It's irresistible.

"Hmm.." she made a slight noise of complaint and that was the last straw. I jumped on the sleeping girl, holding her waist tight and pushed my lips against hers. She yelped in surprise leaving her mouth unguarded and my tongue immediately slipped in. Her eyes opened widely; panicked. I gave her an evil grin before diving back in, my arms snaked around her pushing her soft small body towards me.

Closer.. I want her to be closer to me.. I want to see her small frame devoured by me.

Her arms flailed as she struggled then drop meekly on the side when she finally figured out her attempt to stop this was futile. Breaking off the kiss I placed my lips near her ears and whispered.

"Put your arms around me." my voice soft and hot-filled with desire. She looked at me at the corner of her eyes and nodded slowly, timidly she did as she was asked and I rewarded her with a small playful bite on her earlobe.

"Ahh~" she moaned as she bucked against me.

"You like that.." I cooed as I peppered kisses all over her neck, I don't know if she's conscious of this or not but she's presenting her neck wide open allowing me to get better access. I let out a small laugh and nuzzled her softly. I gave her a quick kiss finally ending our small tryst.

The slave rested her head against the head frame of the bed panting her small face red and flushed. Unfortunately again I don't have the time as I have to tutor the princess.

"Name.." I asked her abruptly.

"Huh?" she asked questioningly her eyes dazed and out of focus. I look down and saw the wet patch on the bed and I gave her wicked smirk.

"Your name." I reiterated.

"Ah.. oh.. umm... It's Aidan.." she said with barely a whisper, her voice timid and shy.

"Freya.."

She stared at me blankly.

"It's my name.." I said softly, looking away. The atmosphere in the room has turned queer and I couldn't help but feel self-conscious.

"It's nice." I heard her say a moment later. Silence filled the room and I stared off to the side while perched at the edge of the bed. I look at her again and she gave me a small smile and I closed my eyes for but a moment enjoying the melancholy.

"I like your name too.." I said softly.

"Huh?" she stared at me in shock.

I feel myself turning red and I immediately stand stood up tossing the bracelet towards her.

"Put this on and get your self something to eat." I ordered then walked briskly towards the door, before closing the door behind me I snapped my fingers causing the chain to shatter freeing her.
