Chapter 4. The Iron Chain

The night was getting late. A man named Vance along with some of his subordinates brought me into a prison of frightened young women. Their hands were handcuffed and connected by iron chains to iron collars around their necks and their legs were also bound by it. All of their clothes were disheveled or torn, some of their clothes even barely covered their bodies.

He pushed me roughly. "Ah!" I screamed when my body hit the floor. My legs and arms are tied like them.

They covered my mouth with sleeping drugs and kidnapped me shortly after I came out of the alley. I pretended to faint when I smelled the evil scent from their bodies. An aromatic aroma for a succubus like me. I heard their conversation when they brought me to this place by carriage and learned they were slave traders. Slave trade is illegal, but many of them still do it secretly, since it is very profitable. Especially female slaves, the more beautiful the slave the more expensive the price.

An iron door slamming sound came behind me.

-Ngiiikk --- Braaak!

I wake up slowly and turn towards them. "Let me go!"

Vance and his subordinates laugh at my stupid requests. "Miss, you are so beautiful. How could we let you go?" said one of them accompanied by laughter from the other.

Vance raised his hand asking his subordinates to be quiet, then he approached the iron door in front of me and looked at me with a sly smile. "I will let you out after my business is finished... After all, I have to make sure my merchandise is a good item before it is sold."

"What do you mean?" I asked, pretending didn't understand his words.

Vance stretched out his hand between the door's iron bar to grab my chin, his eyes examined my entire body from head to toe with a nasty gaze. "I will enjoy your body before selling you," he let go of his hand roughly, then he turned and walked away accompanied by his evil laughter, followed by his subordinates.

I watched them move away from me and smirked evilly. "Fine... I'm hungry after all..." I licked my lips imagining what I would get later.

An awkward pat on my shoulder turned my attention away from them. "Miss, are you alright?" said a woman there.

"I'm alright, " I replied with a smile.

"My name is Irien. May I know your name?" she said again.

"Lilieth, " I replied simply.

Irien looked at me and watched me in detail.

"Is something wrong?" I asked, confused by her attitude.

Irien shook her head. "You look different from us. You look from a good family. How could you possibly end up here?"

"They kidnapped me when I walked home, " I answered.

Irien and the other women exchanged glances in confusion. Since slave traders usually rarely do that. If they wrongly kidnap a high-status woman then the whole kingdom will look for them. They will be forced to live as a fugitive for the rest of their life or lose their lives if they get caught. But in my case it was different, as a succubus, I had an extraordinary charm that no man could resist. My charm could dull their common sense and Vance was trapped by it. That's why he kidnapped me without investigating my origins.

"What about you?" I asked.

They bent their heads in sadness, some of them began to look teary as each of them started telling me how they ended up here. Most of them were sold by their family, some were used as collateral for gambling debts but in the end, she was never bailed out.

"Lilieth... I only can say please hold on... It will hurt for the first time... But over time... You will get used to it..." said Irien as she was trying to encourage me, her eyes also looked teary.

But instead of words of sympathy or wiping away their tears, I gave them a smirk. "Then what? Do you want to be acquainted with the pain forever?Let it trample on your pride?"

They all fell silent while still keeping their heads down. What can they do? Weak women against strong men.

Their attitude reminded me of my old self. A weak princess named Eve... "If you follow me, I'll give you the power to get out of here. How's that sound?"

Irien raised her head to look at me. "Lilieth... That's impossible..." she said. But from the look in her eyes, she wished that everything I said was true.

"You don't have anything to lose. Don't you want to try it?" I said again. My offer sounds like a heavenly wind to them, tempting but sounds impossible.

Irien gulped in temptation, she didn't want to be a slave forever. Even though my offer sounds strange, it's better than doing nothing. "Okay, " she said doubtfully.

I turned to her and smiled in satisfaction at her answer. I pulled the chain around my neck and hands. In one pull the chain broke, then I broke the chain at my feet. They all looked at me in surprise. I walked closer to Irien slowly and she could only retreat until her back hit the wall. I stroked her face and held her chin. Irien is beautiful for a commoner, her skin is smooth even though her hands are scarred from the harsh work as a slave. "But of course... It has a price. Are you willing to pay for it?"

Irien turned her gaze to the broken chain on my hands and neck before nodding in agreement.

I grabbed her hands and pressed them against the wall. Irien was shocked by my movements, not finished with the sudden surprise, a hissing sound could be heard from it.

-SSHHH ...

Irien struggled to get free but her hands seemed to be glued to the wall.

I retreated when I gave her an evil smirk. Irien turned her gaze to her hand. The chain had melted and bound her into the wall. As soon as the others saw it, they immediately curled in fear in the corner of the room.

Irien returned her gaze to me. "Lilieth... What are you?" she said in fear.

I brought my face closer to her and stared deeply into her eyes. "What I am is not important. Now, I'll ask you one more time. Do you want to try it?"

Irien looked doubtful for a moment, but finally, she answered me with a nod. "Then endure it..." I said as the clothes that covered my body began to turn back into my hair, showing my naked body clearly.
