Chapter 36. Who’s she?
Arcania's screams and Andrew's previous battles noises attracted more of Diorix subordinates' attention. Some muscular men rushed into the room in a hurry.
"Sir Diorix, are you all right?" Their weapons were raised ready to attack.
Diorix raised his hand and lowered it, ordering them to lower their weapons.
"I am fine."
Their eyes immediately fixed on Diorix's wounds.
"Sir Diorix, are you really okay?" they said.
Diorix glared at them.
"Are you against my orders ?!" he snapped.
They lowered their heads and lowered their weapons, obeying his orders.
"Clean up the garbage," he ordered again.
They exchanged glances with each other in confusion before they left to carry out his orders. After all the ruckus finished, I turned my gaze to Arcania who bent her head limply in front of me. She looked calmer now.
"I promise, I'll treat you well, " I said.
Arcania can only be silent in submissions.
I turned my gaze to Diorix.
"Sir Diorix, how about we return to the arena? I still want to look around in a bit." Even though my business with Diorix is over, but there is one thing that still makes me curious.
"Alright, I'll accompany you."

The night was getting late when we came out of the room and walked through the narrow corridor which was full of corpses now. The blood that flows from the corpses turned the walls around us into bloody red color, filling the air with a pungent scent of blood. Some of Diorix's subordinates were seen busy clearing the corpse and taking it out.
When I entered this place I could feel the demonic aura from some demons and I could feel that one of them was similar to mine. In other words, there is another succubus who has the same power as mine.
"It doesn't matter if there is another succubus. I just want to know who is her master and her purpose."
A Demon Lord can only make contracts with one succubus, and that contract can only be cancelled if the succubus dies. And based on what I know, Lord Damon is the only Demon Lord who came from the dark dimension to this world, I have never heard of another Demon Lord coming here. If there is someone else, I should be able to feel his power. That's why I decided to return to the arena. If I'm lucky, maybe I can get valuable information there.
Diorix's subordinates opened the door to a special room that faced the arena. As soon as we entered the room the sound of cheering from the audience was heard. Diorix and I approached the VIP chairs and sat side by side, while Andrew, Kitty and Arcania stood behind us. My eyes fixed on the fierce match in the arena below me. A cyclops swung its big bat which was held by a bull demon. Fresh blood flowing from several wounds on their bodies. Their eyes glared at each other, their veins clearly visible from their large muscles as they pushed each other. But despite their large size, their strength was nothing compared to Andrew or Diorix's centaur. Cyclops is a stupid monster that only relies on muscle's strength. They are easily trapped and captured even by an amateur monster tamer. I'm more interested in the bull demon. Even though the bull demon is a lowly demon but demons are different from monsters or hybrid-beasts, 'Magic Collar' will not affect them. Only two things that make them obey, through contract or fear. That means the owner is either a demon hunter or another high demon. Whichever is bad news for me.
I turned my gaze to a red-haired woman who folded her arms behind the bull demon. Her face looks elegant and from her dress, she doesn't seem a commoner.
"Sir Diorix, do you know who she is?" I asked as I pointed at her with my eyes.
Diorix turned his gaze to her and watched her for a few moments. "I've never seen her before."
"Even Diorix doesn't know anything about her."
I closed my eyes trying to feel her magic power but nothing... I didn't feel anything from her. There was no magic power, demonic aura or even a scent that indicated she was a hybrid-beast as if she were just an ordinary woman, that made me suspicious of her even more.
"Did the demonic aura that I felt before come from her?"
I want to confront her directly, but if I do it then she will discover my identity. As long as I don't know what her motivation is, I can't let anyone find my identity. I gestured to Arcania to approach me.
"Arcania, investigate her. If there's something strange, retreat and report to me," I whispered.
Even though Arcania didn't look happy, but she still answered with a nod and followed my order. My eyes were returned to the arena, the Cyclops swung its big bat hard and landed on the bull demon's head.
-Brraakkk!
The demon bull flew out of the arena accompanied by cheers and applause from the audience. The red-haired woman let out a disappointed sigh while the monster tamer behind the cyclops raised both hands with a triumphant expression. My eyes fixed on the woman and watched all her movements. She seemed aware of my gaze and turned towards me. A smile and a slight bow were given to me when our eyes met, I responded to her with a smile. Then she walked out of the arena followed by her bull demon.
I watched her reaction as Arcania followed her. But she just continued to walk among the crowd without realizing her. I frowned in confusion.
"She really didn't see Arcania or she just pretended not to see her?"
