Showing Off the Girls Before the Toys

Currently, Nox and the girls were heading to the Hephaestus Familia to show off their new tools of destruction, Haruhime and Aisha walked along in the street like nothing was even wrong.

The offered to wear cloaks or even stay behind but Nox insisted otherwise. He was actually looking forward to the Ishtar Familia's reaction . . .

'It's not like they can produce any proof these two are no longer part of the familia as dictated by their falna, which means that by this world's common sense, they were willingly released by Ishtar.'

'Hehehe! Besides, no matter how talented I am, no way a Level 2 infiltrated their fortress, stole all of their stuff, took two of their members and killed their most powerful fighter right?'

'Not even the most powerful familia in all of Orario, the Freya Familia could pull that off without alerting anyone of their presence most likely.'

'Ishtar's most powerful subordinate is her Level 4 boy toy anyway and him I can handle in a frontal confrontation.'

'The girls will be safe in the dungeon safehouses and their statuses will grow fast too so they'll be able to defend themselves pretty soon.'

'Just in case though, I gave them a few emergency use magic scrolls that can unleash high level magic, regardless of the user's power.'

For now though, all of them arrived at the Hephaestus Familia home completely undisturbed. Well, the news had to get around first and Ishtar was probably to swamped with problems to go out and look for more of them.

So by the way things were going, the spectacle Nox was looking forward to might not happen at all, at least not for a while. Another foolish god that Nox had paid zero attention towards might however try something stupid . . .

That would be for later though. Now, it was time to show off all the immensely dangerous toys he made to the goddess of smithing and her familia captain and hope for many pleasant rewards more specifically, the snu snu type.

'Hephaestus is the shy type that tries to keep her dignified self out even when she doesn't really need to or want to for that matter. So my luck with her might not be great but I'll definitely earn some points I can use to flirt with her later.'

'Tsubaki on the other hand, is much more straightforward so I might actually get a nice reward . . . Now that I think of it, bringing the girls with me was probably not a good idea if I wanted to get lucky but still . . .'

'If this can light the fire of jealousy in Hephaestus and make her take more initiative, then it will definately be worth it.'

As Nox floated around in his thoughts, he and the girls were guided to Hephaestus and Tsubaki that were conveniently in the same room.

The reason for this, the goddess was doing her daily task of chatting her familia captain to death on the speaking matter of Nox himself.

Tsubaki thought it was actually quite cute from Hephaestus to do so but she had to admit it got a bit too annoying after some time had passed and these "chats" happening every single day.

This being the case, Tsubaki was ready to unload all her frustration by teasing the hell out of everyone once she heard Nox was visiting with a bunch of girls, a piece of information that seemed to greatly upset her goddess, much to Tsubaki's amusement.

"Hey Hephaestus, Tsubaki! How are doing?" Shiki greeted, entering the goddess' study.

The red haired goddess said nothing and was just glaring at the three girls making them think.

'Why am I getting glared at? Maybe I am being seen as a homewrecker!? But I'm and official lover!' Haruhime thought.

'Another rival . . . This time it's even a goddess!' Exclaimed Lili in her mind.

'Wow! To think even a goddess could not resist Nox's charms. As expected of the man I've chosen.' Aisha concluded.

Meanwhile, the one who broke the silence was Tsubaki who asked with a teasing smile.

"Doing great Nox! But why don't you introduce your companions?"

"Right, right!" Nox responded.

"These three are the members of a little team I've been building. Haruhime, Lili and Aisha." He introduced the trio.

"Girls, these are the goddess Hephaestus and the captain of her familia Tsubaki."

The three girls then introduced herselves and while Tsubaki greeted them all, Hephaestus remained silent.

'Who are these girls Nox brought in out of nowhere!?' Was the extent of her thoughts.

But then, Tsubaki decided to stir the pot further with a devious smile.

"When you said your team . . . didn't you mean your harem?" She asked, making Haruhime and Lili blush while Aisha just adopted a proud look.

"Of course not!" Nox answered making Hephaestus look up with hope and Tsubaki glare at him.

'Is he planning on denying he has that kind of connection with them?' The blacksmith though, a bit disappointed with the boy.

"My harem is much more expansive! This trio is just a small part of it!" Nox exclaimed smugly.

'To be a rightful harem king, one must be honest and above board when it comes to relationships.' He thought.

All the girls and women instantly froze at that unexpected statement.

Then, all of them showed their own unique reactions.

Haruhime nodded sagely while thinking that someone as great as her Nox-sama should of course have more admirers than those she already knew.

Lili just sighed since she had already expected such a reality but was happy since she had managed to get a spot for herself. Nox had been dodging her attempts to get closer but it seemed he considered her to be his.

Aisha just laughed while thinking this was indeed how a realm man, at least in her opinion should act. Thus she was immensely pleased with the statement.

Tsubaki, laughed as well, realising it was foolish of her to doubt the boy who had shown to never fear admitting his own attraction for women and his harem ambitions in front of her.

Hephaestus on the other send seemed to have lost her soul and was just standing there, looking at empty space, her mind completely blank. She almost wanted to cry.

Amidst her laughter, Tsubaki asked another question.

"So . . . Hahaha . . . Haaaa. Care to share some of the other harem "candidates"?"

This question brought back the girls from their thoughts, even the frozen Hephaestus who had already recovered. She was a goddess after all. This would not be enough to break her.

"Well . . . If you insist . . ." Nox said.

Tsubaki just nodded, prompting him to continue as the others paid close attention to his answer.

"You and Hephaestus for example!" Nox said with a killer smile.

Hearing this, Hephaestus thoughts began turning real fast.

'W-Well . . . If he sees me in that way . . . For m-men with his talent, getting a couple of m-mistresses is nothing strange . . .' And in such a matter, the red haired goddess not only justified Nox's lustful way in her mind but also felt happy about being included in his perceived harem.

Needless to say, Hephaestus was already in too deep and the sudden appearance of other girls led her to take a step forward, just like Nox had hoped.

'Since that's the case . . . M-Maybe, just maybe . . . I should consider being a little more p-proactive with my feelings . . Just a little bit.' She thought.

Meanwhile, tsubaki fired back at Nox.

"Well, well, little Nox! To think I'm included in your harem!" Tsubaki said.

"You did say you'd "spoil" me once if I became a better smith than you." Nox reminded her.

"Oh, I remember! But . . . One little "spoiling" session might not have any deeper meaning you know." Tsubaki teased back.

"Hehe! One will be more than enough to get you hooked Tsubaki." Nox cockily declared.

"Heh! Even if that's the case . . . You're not a better smith than me, so why don't we talk after you make, at the very least, that happen." She countered.

"Right!" Nox suddenly exclaimed.

"On the matter of smithing. I actually came to show off the masterpieces I've made for my little team and myself today!" He said with pride.

"Oh? Let's see them then. Right Hephaestus-sama?" Tsubaki said.

"Indeed. Let us see these, so called, masterpieces of yours." With the conversation moving into her territory, Hephaestus instantly recovered all her divine presence.

"I'd like to remind you, Hephaestus . . ." Nox started, drawing the goddess' attention.

"That you also made a promise to me in the case I managed to create something that truly impressed you . . ." He said.

*cough* "I know that!" Hephaestus exclaimed with a slight blush.

"You need to show the goods first though." She declared.

"Hehehe~" Aisha chuckled from the side, laughing at a dirty interpretation of the red haired goddess' words she made.

Nox and Tsubaki picked up on it but thankfully, the rest remained unaware, as Nox and the trio, pulled out the items and set them on a nearby table.

"Here are my masterpieces!"
