Aftermath of the Show V

Making the decision to bring Nox in was all well and good, unfortunately for the Freya Familia, there were two very important steps in that endeavour that might prove challenging.

First, they had to find Nox who had disappeared over the last few days.

Second, they had to somehow convince him to come into the core of what would essentially be enemy territory for him, the Freya Familia home, Folkvangr.

In the end, they had no choice other than to start looking as Nox might not reappear soon and they had need of him with some urgency.

The higher ups dispersed and looking for Nox in groups. Horn took a more intelligence based approach, using connections and disguise to look around while the others were far less subtle in their search.

Ottar decided to stay with Freya since someone needed to watch over their goddess and even when everything was fine, that duty usually fell to him when he was not training or in the dungeon.

Allen, Hogni and Hedin each searched around Orario for traces of Nox or information of his whereabouts each on their own while the Gulliver brothers elected to stick together during their search for the prize they all seeked.

After a few days of no result however, Ottar and Horn privately decided on taking some more direct and official measures. Ottar went directly to the Loki familia to ask for Nox.

They were quite sure he wasn't in the Twilight Manor but as his goddess, Loki ought to know where such a key member of her familia was hanging about.

They were only half right in their assumption however. Yes, there were people in the Twilight Manor that knew where Nox was but no, it wasn't his goddess.

Those individuals were Riveria, Ais and Tiona. But though they technically knew where Nox was, they really didn't.

Nox was in his secret lab working on stuff, that much they knew as he had told them exactly where he was going. The catch, was that they had no idea where this secret lab actually was. However, the trio did possess the means to contact Nox if need be so Ottar and Horn, were definitely getting closer.

To explain how things turned out the way they did however, one had to look at Nox's actions after his clash with Allen.

As said before, he went into the Dungeon, calling a meeting of his group. Additionally, he told Riveria to collect Tiona and have her come with her.

The exact purpose of this meeting for which Nox called everyone in however, none of them knew and could only go and hear it directly from the source.

When they all finally gathered, everyone was talking and wondering what exactly Nox wanted with gathering all of them at the same time and also checking out Tiona, aka the extra which they knew had yet to be inducted in the group formally through contract.

Tiona herself was looking around like a fish out of water at all the beauties gathered in one place, seemingly by Nox's word. She knew he had lovers but damn! There were a lot more than she expected and each more beautiful than the last!

Though she was a bit jealous . . . more like quite jealous . . . maybe extremely jealous but we're getting off track. While Tiona was indeed jealous, she had already prepared herself for it so she wasn't too taken off balance.

In fact, most of her jealousy did not come from the fact that Nox had lovers but instead from how so many girls had beaten her to the punch about him, leading her to reprimand herself internally for not being more forward and serious about it in the past.

As Tiona thought about things while paying attention to all the girls around her, Nox finally arrived after seeing them all gathered together.

"Thank to all of you for coming together on such short notice." He greeted.

"First of all, I'd like to introduce Tiona. You all know who she is since she's quite famous . . . and notorious." Nox said, much to Tiona's embarrassment who swore she would get even later for him putting her on blast in front of all her new sister who giggled or at least smiled at the introduction.

"Tiona, this is my crew, my beautiful lovers and staunchest allies who all bound themselves to me of their own free will. I called you here to offer you that same deal." He continued and passed Tiona a magical contract, explaining what it was and what it did.

"You can read the conditions and cho-" Nox was in the middle of the explanation when Tiona simply stopped him and dripped her blood on the contract without even reading it, essentially binding herself to Nox without even knowing the conditions.

"There! No need for more explanations." Tiona said, apparently quite proud of what she did and, to Nox's exasperation, some of the girls already had a higher opinion of her due to that and even admired the way she did things.

"I could sell you off and you'd even count the money for me." Nox facepalmed hard at how careless his new lover was.

Tiona however, only rubbed her head while laughing foolishly, clearly still proud and unrepentant over what she had just done.

"Well . . . Riveria will lecture you later." Nox said and Tiona's expression suddenly dropped as she looked at the high elfess' unamused expression.

"Mercy!" The amazon pleaded but her cry for clemency fell onto deaf ears and Nox moved onto business immediately afterwards.

"I assume you all know about my little encounter with Allen Fromel of the Freya Familia yes?"
