Chapter 53 – Aiwei
Aiwei sees the inferno above Nuwa start up as she sits quietly following her monologue. He starts to think that maybe his ability is broken when it comes to Nuwa. ‘How can she be lying if she isn’t doing anything? I’ve never seen such a situation before.’
Aiwei’s Innate Ability can detect truth from speech, but it cannot detect truth in body language unless his soul tier is higher. The problem is that Aiwei’s ability is the perfect counter to Nuwa’s so she’s the exception.
He calms down as she stops “lying” and begins behaving affectionately with Azula. Aiwei wonders what kind of relationship they have. Iroh concludes the meeting since their conversations went a lot longer than their usual daily meets. They all willingly stayed until the end on behalf of the new elders.
That night, Azula and Nuwa stretch their bodies out a bit to shake off the rigidity and go to sleep cuddling.
The next day, Nuwa directs Toph to go hang out with the troops before shacking up in the War Room of the Council of Five dealing with logistical struggles. With money coming in from racketeering via the Dai Li though, it’s just a matter of getting the money to the right places with maximal efficiency and minimal corruption.
Slogging through nearly a full day of meetings, Nuwa returns to the Palace exhausted. She takes a nice big load from Azula in her womb to recharge her spirit and keep herself from slumping over in lethargy. She still has things to do like another meeting with the Order tonight!

Azula and Nuwa clean themselves up and head over to Iroh’s room. He brings them into the Spirit Realm to a different location. It’s a beach setting this time, with crystal clear water and various wild spirits which look overly adorable.
Nuwa used to be a fangirl for cute animals, but animals were too aware of her manipulative nature and avoided her, so she settled for fangirling over cute guys. She also blames the [System] for raising her as an archetypical snakebitch.
For this meeting, Bumi did some sandbending so they could sit in a circle. Piandao and Pakku are absent, but another old man is present. Jeong Jeong is a retired admiral for the Fire Nation who slowly came to hate himself and the destruction that the Fire Nation and firebending itself has on the World.
He’s a brown-skinned, lean old man with spiky white hair. He has white facial hair with two thin lines for a moustache and a pointy beard. In canon, Jeong Jeong was Aang’s first firebending teacher. He successfully teaches Aang how to firebend, but Aang was too young so he doesn’t take Jeong Jeong’s warnings about the destructive nature of fire seriously. He accidentally burns Katara, putting a mental block on his ability to firebend. It could be said that Jeong Jeong passed down his own hatred of firebending to Aang.
Nuwa and Azula take their seats and after some introductions, Jeong Jeong asks, “How’s Aang coming along with learning bending?”
Azula replies, “He’s obtained mastery with air, proficiency with water, mediocrity with earth but getting better, and still refuses to firebend.”
Jeong Jeong sighs and with some self-depreciation says, “Despite my objections that I am out of tune with Fire, Roku forced me to teach Aang. This is the result.”
Azula shrugs, “He’ll be fine if Zuko helps with his training. They have good chemistry together.”
Jeong Jeong nods. The elders make some small talk and take out pai sho boards. Nuwa has to use her [Inventory] to smuggle items into the Spirit Realm so she figures the Order found some minor portal to the Spirit Realm to make use of to bring items in.
The board game of Pai Sho is one of strategy and luck. The goal of the game is for Player A to arrange one’s pieces to form harmonies, which are arrangements of specific pieces near each other, and disrupt Player B from forming their harmonies. Once an agreed upon number of harmonies have been formed, the game ends.
In Pai Sho, the White Lotus is a powerful special tile that can turn the tables on one’s opponent with a single move by turning disharmonies into harmonies and vice-versa. The metaphorical meaning is that the Order of the White Lotus is powerful enough to turn the tables on the Fire Nation if given the right opportunity.
Nuwa asks Bumi who is mid-game, “Do you have any updates on what the Mechanist is working on at the moment over in Omashu? Ideally, our invasion could use some sort of underwater vehicle to surprise attack their Navy. Currently, we have no way to go up against a Navy that large.”
“Earthbenders are outclassed at sea and the benders aboard waterbender ships don’t have the destructive power to damage a metal ship without boarding it. Water Tribe ships are wood, so in a contest, the only advantage our Navy has is speed. While we are boarding, the Fire Nation can simply bombard our other ships with flaming trebuchet shots, and we’ll take a big loss. We’re simply not a match in the open ocean.”
Bumi replies, “Funny you should say that, he’s been sticking objects into water for days now! We’ve already been planning something like that since Pakku has been thinking of ways to beat the Fire Nation Navy.”
Xai Bau is still looking somewhat dispirited other than bonking Aiwei when he stares too long at Nuwa. Azula is also nearing the limit of her patience. Nuwa suggests, “Aiwei, why don’t you hang out with us ladies for a bit before returning?”
Aiwei’s eyes widen with joy and Xai Bau puts on a teasing smile as he says, “Sure, you three go have fun. Don’t mind us old men.”
Aiwei turns red-faced and adjusts his glasses several times in a row out of nervousness. The juniors get up and take a walk down the beach. Azula is ticked off about Aiwei’s obvious inclinations towards Nuwa. In Azula’s book, only close friends can look at Nuwa like that without expecting a beatdown from her.
Nuwa holds hands with Azula as they walk and Azula immediately calms down. Nuwa was about to habitually say some platitudes, but that would start her [Acting] and Aiwei would know, so she just keeps quiet.
Nuwa is actually very nervous about meeting Aiwei with Azula nearby given how one stray conversation topic can bring up something she never wants to bring up. She forcefully suppresses her instinct to have [Acting] on and walks ahead of Aiwei with Azula in hand nonchalantly. Given that Aiwei’s eyes haven’t left her swaying butt, the only thing that can take his mind off of pervy thoughts in her presence is her [Acting].
The sex daons she gathers from him indicate that most of his fantasies currently involve kissing and spanking her ass. She assumes that his ability to discern lies goes into overdrive when she is [Acting], otherwise such a small incident as the last time would be ignored or overlooked. ‘When I first used [Acting] in his presence, he showed great fear, but then he calmed down, and now when I have [Acting] on, he looks at me thoughtfully like he’s trying to figure something out. Maybe he’s trying to figure out the details of his abilities more.’
Nuwa turns her head to the side and probes, “Aiwei, how is life mentoring under Xai Bau? He doesn’t make you fight, right?”
Aiwei averts his eyes from directly staring at Nuwa’s butt and says, “It’s good. He’s a caring but strict teacher. We only spar, he says I’m not ready for real fights yet.”
Nuwa replies, “Oh? I get the feeling you don’t like fighting much given the scholarly robes on your Spirit form. You prefer reading, planning, and otherwise staying out of the limelight, right?”
At this point, Azula knows that Nuwa is planning something and there’s a high likelihood of sexual content involved, otherwise Nuwa wouldn’t care about him enough to speak to him in private. She’s a fair bit displeased since she thought that they would take a break from adding more sexual partners for a while, given the pregnancy. It took her some time to warm up to Nuwa’s regular sex with Dan and that was only because he was so subservient.
Azula isn’t so sure about Aiwei. His mentor is slightly shady. He’s just an innocent and horny kid.
But that combination of dangerous old man and innocent kid made her feel uneasy. In reality, the World’s Will had been slightly traumatized by interdimensional travelers called Rick and Morty thousands of years ago. Everyone who sees an old man and a preteen kid traveling together feel oddly uneasy for no specific reason.
Although disgruntled, Azula knows that Nuwa never does things for no reason. Nuwa has an angle on this guy for sure. So she ignores them and lets Nuwa work on him.
Aiwei replies with some timidity, “I guess..”
Nuwa turns around all the way so that she’s facing him and bends down to his eye level so that her cleavage sways dangerously downwards. “You should be more assertive about your preferences. If he’s your mentor, he should be showing you how to maximize your strengths and compensate for your weaknesses!”
Aiwei feels grateful that a beauty is looking out for him, but mostly grateful towards those ripe melons whose shapes he can make out clearly through Nuwa’s dress.
Nuwa smiles dangerously wide and says while pointing to her eyes, “My eyes are up here. Aren’t you looking at my body too much, little guy?”
Aiwei tears his eyes away and starts adjusting his glasses compulsively, “Th-That is.. Um umm I.. couldn’t help myself.”
Nuwa hums in a singsong manner and straightens out while thrusting her chest out, “I can’t blame you. You’re just a little kid to me..”
Aiwei notices that she lied normally without the inferno and immediately shouts, “No! You’re lying!”
At this point, Nuwa has almost all of her focus on suppressing her own ability. She actually feels that her understanding of her Innate ability is increasing by leaps and bounds by suppressing it and being hyperaware of its habitual activation patterns.
She puts on a surprised face, then smiles sweetly as she looks down slightly at Aiwei and admits, “Ok, fine. You caught me. You want the truth? I think you’re a big kid, but you’re not quite a real man yet. So, what are you going to do about it?”
Jumping, Aiwei realizes that he spoke on impulse and she isn’t lying about thinking that he’s just a big kid. Feeling bummed, his thoughts are guided straight towards becoming a real man. He asks with the beginnings of a newfound determination, “I-I Dont Know. H-how do I become a real man?”
Azula scoffs at how Nuwa manipulates people like putty, but Aiwei treats her scoff as disbelief that he will ever become a real man. He burns with slight indignation and his determination rises several notches towards a yet-to-be-defined or explained-in-any-way ideal of becoming a real man.
Nuwa says with a mischievous grin, “I can tell you how to be a real man right here to seal the deal, but it’ll be your responsibility to stay as one going forward.”
Aiwei nods and naively states, “I’ll definitely uphold my end of the deal and stay a real man! Er.. what do I have to do?”
Nuwa looks up domineeringly and says, “Of course being a real man means being a kind person! Feeding the poor! Defending the downtrodden and innocent! Defeating bullies! Spanking evil bitches! Teaching the future generations about balance!”
Aiwei looks at Nuwa with admiration at her lofty ideals, none of which are lies, “Okay! I’ll do it!”
Giving Aiwei a cheshire grin, Nuwa pushes him down onto a sandy outcrop surrounded by rocks and leans down close to his ear. He freezes up in surprise as Nuwa’s boobs are squished right up against his chest. Nuwa breathes lightly into his ear and asks, “Are you ready to become a man?”
Aiwei’s pupils dilate, his nose bleeds slightly, his breath hitches, and his boner goes full mast as he feels Nuwa’s spongy breasts and hard nipples press against his chest. A faint milky scent comes from Nuwa’s hair, reminding Aiwei of coconuts or his mother, he can’t tell which. Actually it’s the scent of Azula’s dried cum, which Nuwa is never able to completely wash out of her hair. It’s a pleasant smell though, so she doesn’t mind.
Aiwei looks dazed for a moment before turning his eyes to Nuwa and looking in her eyes genuinely for the first time, “Will you really help me? Someone like me? An outcast..”
Azula was considering making things difficult for them, but after hearing this, she sighs, shakes her head, and disappears back to the Mortal Realm.
Nuwa also drops her mischievous face and replies seriously, “I’ll help anyone who is or wants to be a real man if I’m in the mood to do so.”
When Aiwei detects no lie, he starts tearing up. He buries his face in Nuwa’s bountiful cleavage and tears stream down her dress. Nuwa sighs and thinks, ‘Poor guy must have had a tough life. All his friends and family would want to keep secrets and he would always know them. It’d be hard to keep track of what his friends have already revealed to him versus those that are supposed to be true secrets. They might even try to use his power for their benefit. He must have been kicked out of every village or friend circle he joined after accidentally exposing their scandals until he met Xai Bau.’
‘Meanwhile, my Innate [Acting] lets me be liked anywhere I go. We are opposite ends of the coin, you and I. We can surely help each other. We can even seek comfort in one another. The liar and the truth-seer, hahaha.’
