Mason’s players were all smiles and cheers. Though the ones really looking at him seemed to sober. He was more Transformed than he’d been since…maybe ever. He was more than half wolf now, with bat-like wings sticking out his sides.

He couldn’t bring himself to care what anyone thought.

There was power floating in the air, the mocking laughter of the horned god as he drank and jeered at his rival from his throne of skulls. It was making him feel…restless. Violent. Maybe less human.

“Deal with the wounded,” he said to Carl. “The threat’s over.”

“We’re on it, kid. You, uh, good? Anything else we need to do?”

He pulled up his profile and cleared martial law with a swipe. It was time for the civilian leaders to handle their problems. The players were dealt with, or would be soon. Anyone who made trouble now would be dead very quickly.

“Nothing. We’ll meet tomorrow, same meeting room as before.”

Carl wiped some sweat off his scalp with a polite nod, then he and the others went off. The players were all moving away from the wall now, the small army heading back into the city. Blake came out from the crowd, moving towards him with a big smile again.

Demi waited near the wall, hands in front of her waist, green eyes watching him as she pushed some hair away from her face. His eyes raked up and down her apparently re-summoned version of his vestments. She was covered completely in that leafy mesh again, and he narrowed his eyes. That was definitely not going to last long.

“Very impressive, brother of mine.” Blake yawned and stretched his arms. “I even leveled. Apparently my contributions were considered…”

“Later,” he growled. Blake went to to keep talking and Mason met his eyes, no emotion except annoyance. “I said later. Go back with the others.”

Blake blinked as his mouth snapped shut. The same flash of annoyance was obvious, the same urge to speak. But he just cleared his throat and went, which was uncharacteristically wise. Mason waited until he and everyone else was gone. Then he took a few steps towards Demi.

“I told you we weren’t making it inside.”

She’d backed up to the wall, hands behind her, chest rising and falling as she watched him coming closer. He could smell…anticipation. Excitement. And just a hint of fear.

He crossed the distance between them, hands against the stone as he sniffed Demi’s neck.

“What are you afraid of?”

She shivered and squirmed against the wall, and he could smell her arousal.

“That…you’ll lose control. That I can’t…take it.”

“Take what?”

“Whatever you’re about to do to me.”

He growled and lifted her, putting her over a shoulder caveman style, grinning as she shrieked. The power in the air was like a drug. The destruction he’d caused. The instincts of his animal body. He had some unstoppable urge to dominate, to howl his conquest at the world.

He turned and walked to the broken corpse of the dead avatar, and set Demi down. She stared at the broken corpse with a ‘you can’t be serious’ sort of wide eyed expression.

Until he turned her around, and dragged a claw carefully down her back.

Gaia’s vestments cut away like paper. In a second she was completely exposed except for the mesh left clinging to her legs from the thighs down.

“Mason, I…”

He bent her over the broken rib cage of his enemy until she stilled. Then he dropped and buried his face between her legs, licking and tasting her as he spread her folds. She moaned and tensed, and he trailed his tongue up over her ass, her back, a long line all the way to her neck.

“The only words I hear now contain yes, king, or please,” he growled.

Demi was panting, eyes fluttering as she pushed her ass towards him, the barest glance towards the wall and whoever might be watching.

He didn’t care. About that or anything else except getting what he wanted. He slapped his erection between her cheeks, then lowered it down until his tip slid against her opening.

“Are you wet enough for me?” he hissed in her ear. “Can you take it all?”

“Yes…my king. I’m…soaked for you.”

He pushed into her, feeling every inch as he stretched her around his maybe shapeshifted cock. He reached around to grip her tits in both hands, putting his teeth to her neck just as he’d seen earlier in his flash of lust.

She shuddered and froze like prey in his arms, body skewered on his cock. He took her slow and deep. Every thrust slapped against her perky ass. She whimpered and closed her eyes, sex clenching and literally dripping wetness down his balls already.

He leaned back and took a fistful of her hair, the other hand holding her over the shattered bone as he pounded into her. He looked up at the fading red eyes of one god, its power utterly destroyed, watching the avatar of another god taking whatever he gave with mindless obedience.

He didn’t know if it was him or Cerebus laughing at the dark sky, howling with primal dominance over this world, this ‘plane’. All he knew is that he fucking loved it.

When the desire to fill his mate arrived he didn’t think or hold back, he just drove deep and exploded inside her. She cried out and clenched around him, but it was like gently hugging an iron spear. He fucked her straight through, scattering bones as he pushed her down to the dirt, and kept right on pounding.

His seed dripped and squelched from her perfect little wet hole as he drove on. Her face was on the ground, hands curled around roots that grew from the soil, panting and moaning as he took her.

She shuddered with orgasm once, maybe twice, his only interest in the ego stroke of knowing how much she was loving it. In that moment there was only his victory. She was his as this city was his, and no man or god would stop him.

He pulled Demi’s face up with her hair, wrapping his other hand around her throat, his fangs against her cheek.

“Look at me while I fill you,” he growled. He’d almost called her Gaia, but blinked away the strange urge.

Her eyes opened but still fluttered, trying to lock on his. She looked somewhere between pain and overwhelming pleasure, totally lost in his lust.

The look in her eyes, the feel of her tight, hot sex desperately trying to squeeze around him…

His balls and every surrounding muscle clenched, another load bursting and painting Demi’s insides with wave after wave.

Her face was red, a muffled scream mostly choked by Mason’s grip as her eyes rolled. She was trying to push her ass back, but mostly she just spasmed and went limp in his arms.

He shuddered and twitched as the last few spurts of his seed shot into his lover. He rested unmoving on top of her, mind slowly clearing as he remembered where he was, and maybe who he was.

Old death and new blood hit his nostrils on top of Demi’s arousal. He realized she was hurt. That he’d hurt her. There were shallow tooth and claw marks all over her, little lines and pricks with traces of blood.

“I’m alright,” she said, sitting up to push back against his chest. She turned her head and searched for his lips. He kissed her and groaned, still buried inside her. Her green eyes opened and she smiled, making a throaty chuckle as she stared at him. “Trust me. I’m more than alright.”

He realized they were basically now fucking in a small, verdant field, instead of barren rock.

Plant life was growing around them. Fresh grass curled with roots; moss and mushrooms and flowers spiraled in circles around them. They were sprouting up around the bones of the broken dead and rocky earth, reclaiming the ground.

Mason watched in fascination as Demi’s skin started healing, covering over with rough patches of something like bark and green lines. He took a breath and closed his eyes at the smell of fresh life, and Demi’s magic. It was like she was all around him, covering him there in the field like a blanket, all softness and femininity, draining away the beast.

He shivered as his body spasmed with aftershock, like a whole new orgasm ripped from his core, dick spraying again deep inside Demi. He moaned and fought a tremble, and she laughed and watched him with a wide smile, arms raised to hold the back of his head.

“What did you just do to me?” he mumbled.

“Nothing you didn’t do to me first.”

He realized his claws were mostly gone. He gripped her tits to feel the hardened nipples as he kissed her deep. Then he slid a hand between her legs and felt the absolute mess he’d made of her.

“You’re officially my very cum stained slut,” he said with a grin, slapping her ass hard before he kept groping.

She sighed and nodded, squirming against him.

“Or are you my well trained cock slave?”

He grinned, and they just touched and said nothing awhile, until Demi looked at the dirt around them and frowned.

“I think…we cast some kind of divine spell.” Her eyes glazed, then popped open. “Um. Mason? I think…did we just…are you seeing this?”

He turned on One with Nature, reaching out to feel the life around them before he sensed it. A seed filled with power, not so different than the artifact he’d found in the maker hall. They’d somehow created a great tree. How the hell had they done that?

“Apparently I should fuck you in every barren field we find,” he said.

“I think we’d need some more dead avatars,” she answered wryly, looking at the bones and making a face. “I can’t believe I let you bend me over a rib cage.”

“You didn’t let me do anything,” he said, crushing her in his arms. She moaned and went slack again as if in acknowledgment. “Anyway, it wouldn’t hurt to try. For science.”

He was still buried inside her at half mast, and they were getting in very real danger of another, less bestial round.

“We should go to the others,” she sighed, touching his face and cuddling back against him. “It’s not fair I get all the fun. And…” she bit her lip. “I like it. Feeling how good it makes you feel. And watching you claim them. Knowing as you do, you’re really mine.”

He shuddered and went from half to full. Demi’s face scrunched in pleasure, but he was in control now and just held her still, petting her skin and touching whatever he liked.

“I was claiming Haley weeks before I met you,” he said, hoping she took it as playfully as he meant it. She met his eyes and turned serious.

“You’ll only have her for one lifetime, Mason. She’ll grow old, just like the others. You’ll have to be strong for her. To love her without sadness.”

He blinked and froze, understanding without accepting. He refused to see beyond the doom. Knowing any of them, maybe all of them, could die in the climax of the system’s fiery apocalypse.

One lifetime with Haley and the others, he decided, would be more than enough. Hell, with the way he’d spent the last few months, just a few years of peace would be pretty nice.

“I’ll worry about the future when I’ve made sure there’s a future,” he said. Demi nodded and kissed his chin, eyes getting a mischievous look, sort of like Haley’s when she had some scheme.

“Let’s go back to the palace. Maybe tonight, with all the girls, we can finally wear you down. I’m kind of excited to see them fight over who gets what. But I think I’m off to a good start.”

She wiggled her ass against him, and he laughed and slowly eased himself out. They both sighed at the loss of contact, and a shocking amount of his seed dripped out of Demi as she straightened.

“Uh huh,” he said, feeling satisfied but not even slightly done. He glanced up at the full moon and knew his secondary ‘fertility’ title was in full swing. “Good luck with that.”
