Chap 83: Za WARUDO
After she destroyed the head of the vampire subsequent to nearly causing the death of everyone on the team, Jojo was fueled by so much rage she didn't even realize she was bleeding out until she finally hit the ground and passed the fuck out.
Coming to was the hardest thing, as she was suddenly hit by the sound of everything at once. The pain in her chest eased as her heart went back to its normal rhythm.
Their eyes tracing around, and the whiteness of the room lets her know that she is currently in a hospital. But that wasn't an important detail, she found the lively face of her comrade. Waiting at her bedside after the final battle, the Speedwagon Foundation picks everyone up to be treated. Every single one was treated and healed, out of all seven of them, Josano was in the worst condition, and she was the last to wake up.
Polnale was right back to her side. She said, still a bit of sass in her voice. "Hey there buddy, how's the other side ?" Even though most of her face is covered in white cast, she can still joke.
"Safe it for another time, Polanle." Kakoyrin said with a grunt, she had bandages wrapped completely around her waist and her breast.
"The doctors did all they could and were able to help. They said you staid on-off death's door for a good bit there." Josane let her know. Out of all, she is the one to come out relatively safe with no major injury.
In the corner of her eyes, she spotted Iggy lazily lying in a dimly lit corner, his body sprawled out as if he had no care in the world, his tail occasionally flicking in boredom.
"Dio's.... body" she croaked, her voice was dry. 'Fuck, how long was i out for.'
"Don't worry; she is definitely dead. You're only out for an hour, just to be sure we'll decide to put her body to burn at dawn; the morning sunlight should finish the job."
'That's good to hear.' With some help from her friend, she got up into a sitting position.
"Wait, what about Takichi?"
"The boy left just a bit ago. Said something about his job is over."
'Did he have to leave in such an abrupt way.' Jojo shakes her head, while she does care about him. What choice he made is his own, she can't tell him what to do.
At dawn, everyone was present except for the only male member of them. Everyone watched as Dio's body was exposed to the sun, the corpse burned away, leaving nothing but burning ash that drifted away with the wind.
At the end, they have all survived. The Stardust Crusaders shared one last heartfelt goodbye, but saying goodbye was never an easy thing for that woman.
"But if anything were to happen, let's meet again someday."
"I'll be delighted to meet you sometimes, other than being in a stand-related issue."
"As long as i have time away from school. Right, Jojo ?"
"You young kids should learn to be more free, go outside some more. That's the problem with Japanese kids these days."
"Yare yare daze."

While the team had left to go back home, Takichi was still around. He sat inside the mansion of Dio, rummaging through various rooms. He has found the item to complete his questline in hand.

[Received: Random World key]
His eyes looked at the reward and felt a ping of joy. Of course he would, he had put up the good work for it after all.
[The World(A)]: The World is an exceptionally powerful Close-range Stand, much like Star Platinum; its overwhelming physical might and near-unstoppable control over time undeniably make it one of the most dangerous Stands.
He doesn't need to read the standard description to know. The world is considered to be one of the strongest, if not. The strongest stand, with its ability to stop time. Takichi could only imagine how much this would be as his trump card, it would do much help to him in the coming missions.
Summoning the stand, She appeared right next to him. Arms crossed in a towering stance, her eyes are emotionless but somehow give off a sense of danger when she stares at him with those golden eyes of hers.
She looks almost like her previous owner, now removed from the tank track, with a body that is slimmer in comparison to the muscular form. Aside from that, she is still the same stand from what he can observe.
"Can you...stop time ?" He wondered about it the most. It would be such a shame if he could only use The World but not her power. Mentally preparing himself, Takichi takes a breath and spreads out his arm dramatically.
"ZA WARUDO TOKI WO TOMARE!"
The world suddenly froze, a bubble expanded across reality as everything was stopped in a motionless world, putting a faded color throughout the universe.
"I did it, i stopped time!" His succes didn't last however, the next moment is when the time stop ended.
"Hhahaha." He gave out a tired laugh.
Sure, he stopped time, but it lasted for a moment. Maybe even less than that, only half a second.
'That's fine, i can train to make the time stop longer. Just like Dio, I can grow my time stop to be ten seconds as well. Who knows, maybe one day i can obtain heaven. Do i even want that through ?'
Realizing he was distracted, Takichi turned his attention to going back to his world. The other prizes can wait.
Stepping through, he entered his room in the private house where they left it. Just to confirm, he brought The World out, and sure enough. The stand follows his command, appearing with a flare of esteemed air to her entrance into this world.
"You don't need to be so dramatic." He said.
Summoning his second stand, Yellow Temperance also makes itself known.
--------
(Takumi's pov)
His puppet did not detect her at all when they entered his barrier range, and she was better, so much so she could bypass his many talismans and monitor the puppet.
At this moment, it would take them a dozen minutes or less to make it back here to help rescue him. Moreover, his weapons were equipped on them. Takumi isn't defenseless, he still can use weapons stored in his inventory, of course.
Considering all of his available options, right now, he doesn't have a chance to win, but fighting is not what he would immediately choose. At least, not right away.
"What could i offer that you can't take by force ?" A genuine question came out from his curious mind.
The master manipulator that she is, Senjaku would rather trick around and lie for what she wants. But that was when the option suited her, he wondered what she is planning this time.
"Well, i want one thing." Licking her lips, she paused before saying, "your body."
"What ?" One thing came to his mind when she said that.
'She wants to steal my body ?' Out of fear, Takumi drew a blade from his inventory.
"Relax, relax. No need to be so tense." She tries to ease him by raising both hands, showing no sign of hostility.
But he won't believe that. Takumi keeps her in a glare with his guard up.
"I'm not really aiming to take your body, at least not in the way you think."
"Explain!" He said, not dropping his guard and keeping the blade close. Mentally planning for the worst-case scenario his mind
"Fine, I doubt you understand what I'm trying to do, but. I guess it's better this way. Let's skip the long talk about your body or should I say...bodies."
Takumi shudder to imagine his own flesh being driven like a pawn in her-brain.
"How do you even know that ?"
"Hmm...first, i thought it was another type of curse technique. Where it allows siblings to communicate despite its range. I then figured it out when I compared the the curse energy you three have, and then I found the frequency of your soul."
'Soul ?' Yet another subject he did not have knowledge about.
The soul is a major part of getting more powerful as a sorcerer. So it came as no surprise when Takumi, who has three bodies but only housed one soul within.
"You can see my soul ?"
"I can sense it." She stated. "It is hard to do, but that isn't what appeals to me. Rather is your body is what really piques my curiosity.
I did some tests, and guess what ? You have a natural affinity to many curse techniques, so much I even wonder if your body is made to be containing curse energy itself."
His mind was working to understand it, and the word 'contain' made his eyes go wide. Like he just uncovered a huge secret.
Senjaku looks at him with a smirk, "have I got your attention now ?" Her smile grew like an evil businesswoman.
