Chap 61: puppets control
The sky was clear outside, it's countless star shining through the bedroom window. Takumi tried to roll over to get more comfortable. A too-hot muscled around his waist, warm breath fanning beside his neck, too-hot torso pressed against his arm, and an immovable slab of a thigh stopping him from moving out of the bed.
As if the chains around his leg aren't enough, her hands were on him, big and needy. She’d torn his clothes apart, she was assertive but still attentive, caring, she took care of him. His wife was a murderer, and each day he was falling more in love with her. He should be scared, but he still let it happen, he assure her back telling that he were okay.
There was no way for him to go back to sleep now. Eyes staring at the boring ceiling, Takumi let out a quiet sigh. The Zennin was beyond peak human condition, that also means her senses is at that same caliber and he won't test how good it is.
'System. Activate 4 pulls.'

'I managed to pull a frickin gundam ?' Now he's fully awake, eyes wide.
Takumi actually felt a bit of regret not having enough space for a giant robot. Tojiko would no doubt buy him a bigger house just to park it in if he told her.
His memory bank isn't that big on code geass, one of the notable thing of that anime is the giant robot in it. The knightmare frame as it was called are humanoid war machines, Takumi has a mass production model. Which is basicly just grunt soldier.
'Well, giant robot are still giant robot.' piloting them is still cool, sure they are not that strong.
He's sure that a grade 1 curse can beat it, either from the curse technique or this machine lack a way to beat it.
confronting a sorceress may be more advantagious, with modern weapons being a good counter. A futuristic weapons on his robot would be a good tool as a anti-socceress weapon.
Next is a mysterious sword ? Katana ? Takumi genuinely have no knowledge of this weapon and what show that it came from. But it does have a (B) classification, so he judged it must be a powerfull tool. He will practice with it later when he get the chance.
The shield potion is something he'd just use later in the morning, Takumi see nothing that would indicate that the effect has a time limit when looking at the description. A hidden shield to protect him from the damage he can't detect.
[Puppet Manipulation(C)]: allow user to remotely control cursed corpse puppets over a wide range.
'I have an idea what to do with you.' An image of a light bulb turn on in his head.
----------
The next morning came with the shining sun coming through the window, Takumi and Tojiko are having their lovely time feeding eachother breakfast.
"Hmm, yeah i can get you some dolls. But why ?" The big woman throught as her lover feed her a spoonfull of pancakes.
From her point of view, Takumi doesn't seem like the type of boys that would play around with dolls. But she has no reason to denied that request, in fact Toji would like for him to ask her to do more.
"Oh, well i like to test something on them. I'm trying to make curse puppets." He said, "can you do it right after ?"
"Ofcourse, i'll can do anything for you."
When they finished eating, Tojiko gave him a peck on the neck before she went out for her task. Stepping away from their morning activity, Takumi take a look through the cupboards and bring out a big cup, his other hand brought out a round bottle from his inventory. It cast a slightly glowing light with magical liquid stored in a sturdy glass. Its weight in his hand feels slightly heavier than expected, as though imbued with a magical essence.
The liquid inside shimmers with an ethereal glow, in shades of light blue color, suggesting its protective nature. Downing the consumable item, Takumi feels a sweet flavor on his tongue with a cool, energizing sensation traveling pass his throat as a blue protective aura takes effect. He watch as the potion creates a temporary barrier around it's user, fortifying him against attacks whether physical or magical harm.
He then went to train, Takumi stopped going to the dojo but that's changed his routine of training martial art. He sometimes still call to his old teacher, miss Tomoe would ask him on his life, frequently give him advice about sword fighting. However, practicing alone means he's train without someone to guide him.
It was mid day when Tojiko returned, at the same time Takumi finished his martial arts practice at home.
Greeting him with a kiss planted on the lips, like a demanded reward. "I'm back, honey." Sweet was her voice around his ear.
"Welcome back, you can put those dolls away in the back."
Tojiko bring back 5 dolls for him, all human size, their body is made from wood. Having a plain design with a flat face, using ball joints in each knee and shoulder along with one in the neck.
Setting them in the back, Takumi told Tojiko to stay in the living room for him to be by himself. Now with his test subject is ready, he can continue on his project.
He carefully lay one doll on the ground, a hand place on it's head. Takumi activate the curse technique, right away the doll body jolted. Curse energy flow from his palm and cloak the doll.
Takumi waited a moment before letting go of his hand, there the doll lay still just as he put it.
'Stand up.' He give a command with his mind.
The doll lifeless body began to twitch, then. In a un-natural manner, with the weight put on the sole of it's foot. The doll back arching upward slowly to standing straight up.
"Okay, a bit creepy but i guess that works." He din't expect the way his control of the doll would be so un-human. 'Raise a hand up.'
Following his next command, the doll body twitch before raising one hand up.
"Hm....a bit crude, you are." He said, a bit disappointed.
Compare to his clone, this doll are much slower when responding to a command. In the field these wouldn't be much of use, the material these puppets were made of was also quite weak for the requirements he needed for their purpose.
The only good part he can take away from this experiment is they are cheap to preserve and use. The curse energy he use to control them is very small, so small that he din't even notice it at first.
'But here's the main part.' Came the concern he had when using these dolls.
Their range.
The original user of this curse technique, Mechamaru is a soccerer with a heavenly restriction. This is a a trade that alow him to control curse puppets in a wide range in return for a deformed body.
Takumi obviously don't have this trait, so he was wondering how this would affect his use over the technique. But testing them while he can't go out is ok, he'd still need to make them look more human-noid first.
Curse energy is indeed can't be perceive by non-soccerer, his dolls are real construct that can be seen by the normal eyes. So Takumi need to craft a body more suitable for his dolls technique.
