Maybe it was a bad decision, a spur of intrusive throught, or bad luck.

That Takumi decided to not immediately find a way out. Before anyone could see him, Takumi jump behind a wall hidden in one of the collapse conner of the building. Just as he did, sound of footsteps followed.

"Another one." A female voice, saying in a annoyed tone of voice.

"Another one ? Wait, do you meant this is the ghost 'sorceress' work ?" The seccond voice also belong to a female. This one sound more timid and shy than the first one.

'She sound young.'

"Yeah, these cases of a rouge sorceress on the loose. Strangest thing that happened in the last few months. Also stop painting him in a good light. He's stealling our job over Hana."

'Welp, it's about time.' Takumi throught about the absence of the jujutsu society when he was hunting the curses. Weird when an entire organization meant for stopping curses din't even show up once.

Now that they're here, Takumi is curious to know what they say about him.

"But isn't it a good thing to have someone help us out ? It make our job easier, right senpai ?" The seccond voice now know as Hana asked.

"Not to the higher up, they don't like it one bit. Their fragile and stupid ego can't handle that shit is changing and their old traditional way is being disgraced."

'It's that bad huh.'

The higher up is made from elders coming various clan made to keep the order in jujutsu society.

However in Takumi memories, the way they goes about and keep this 'order' is through suppress other to keep themself in the top.

The order to kill yuuji, and then blame it all on Gojo for the Shibuya accident. Was some of the small order they make.

Thinking of it, Takumi had thanked his luck for not chossing to go and join them.

Kane looked around, the scene in front of her shown a aftermath of a battle, it was a short one.

'One curse spirit and one sorceress it seemed' she made a quick evaluation of the environment.

Inside her head, running through multiple possible scenario that could take place in here.

She and her junior officer was sent to investigate this site after they were informed by the auxiliary managers from jujutsu tech.

She turn her eyes to see for anything for clues, her eyes stop suddenly on an object laying on the floor.

Her shoes click on the floor as she walk over, crounching down she picked something off the ground.

"Hey, Hana."

"Yes, senpai ?"

"Our cases never have a gun right ?"

"Yep, all the mark left behind on scene indicate that our suspect used a blade. One edge, there is a high chance it is katana."

"Call principal yama, tell her we got new intel on 'ghost' suspect." Kane raise up the found object for her junior to see.

"Shotgun shells ?" The younger voice sound suprised.

"Yeah, and not the legal kind."

*crack*

Both of the sorceress head snap at the sudden sound. They all turn at the source of sound, The junior of the two began to walk over.

"Who's there !" Hana shouted.

Kane was more a cautious, staying behind. A figure stepped out from behind a dark corner, wearing a dark cloak that cover their whole body, with a mask which make their identity unable to discern.

"Put your hands up." The masked person have to trouble with obeying Hana order and show her their hand.

However, she was too hasty to noticed the glowing eyes behind the mask. Kane open her mouth to warn her colleague but before she could say anything Hana was struck by a beam of green light.

[Paralyzis eyes: Lapse]

Kane was about to jump in action but something else strike her head from behind. The sorceress fell over losing consciousness without knowing what had hit her.

Hana felt a wave of anxiousness as her body freezed up, no matter how much she try to struggle to move her body just won't able to.

She only heard the sound of something heavy being dropped behind her.

'Senpai.' She throught of something bad might have happened to her.

The mask person eyes linger on her for a seccond before they turn to leave. Hana was worry that they try to do somethimg outside of her view, but nothing came.

Several minutes passed and she regain the ability to move again.

--------

Taking a long way back home, it takes a lot longer than usuall but that just to make sure he can shake off if there's someone followed him.

It's a high chance he won't be follow but Takumi had to be carefull.

Despite having almost being caught, Takumi can't stop smilling. The rush of aldrenalin as a by product having success in his technique getting better, it's making him wanting to laugh out loud right now.

*phew*

Letting out a sigh of relief, he almost forgor he can cancel his clone if need be. But testing his own physical on a sorceress is needed as he wanted to know how strong he is.

'Granted, that might just be some weak grade 2 or 3. Doesn't matter much anymore.' Takumi brushed the topic away, moving to the table where food was laid out for him.

"Thanks me, you guys can go now." The two clone body disappear at his command.

Now that he is sure of his power is getting stronger, Takumi move on to his next objective. Which world he can go to or would he even want to go in the first place.

Takumi has 4 world keys inside his inventory from all the quest and missions he has taken. With one he already have an idea of what behind the door. But what of the others, 'system, if i open the door and don't want to leave. Can i close it ?' He asked.

[Negative, with user current status. Once user has chose to open the gateway, user must pass through]

'And if i don't ?'

[Enforcing other measures inculded: peacefull coercing, body compeilling, moving the gates towards user and etc etc..... ]

'Great, but what if i got ended up in a dangerous area ? For all i know the other side could be in space and i'm getting suffocated.'

[Do not worry, user. The system is desgined to assist user, any gates entry point will guaranteed user safety and suitable for user travel in the world designated]

But why would he leave ?

Sure getting strong is something he has to do eventually, Takumi already have accepted this. But enjoying this life is equally important, no ? It wouldn't hurt to stay just a day or two longer.
