Chap 172: jealousy
"You know very well, you can stop pretending now."
In all of Gojo's life, being called the strongest isn't that far off from how she expected. Being that talented is a privilege, Gojo was well aware of that fact.
People fear her, respect her, adore her.
She is alone.
Men want to be with her and women want to be her. She enjoyed it. How could she not ? She had all the power.
Yet she is alone.
Such is the preference born as her own birth as it is her life which she had no control over. The very life circumstance of her upbringing.
I am not alone
So, it can be concluded that Gojo isn't to blame by the view life had force upon her. It can also be concluded that she cannot be blamed for the love she had for him.
"What makes you think I am pretending huh?" Her entire demeanor dropped.
In all of the Jujutsu world, few men exist that are strong, fewer can call themself that, only one can be considered the strongest. So she is well within her rights to claim him as hers, it matters not what the world thinks.
"You can't believe in this dream that I am yours, not anymore."
"I wonder if Geto say the same thing when you kissed her?" She can tell, she can very much tell, as hard as he tries, the man fails to keep his composure.
The room temperature drops. Takumi's lip twitched, not responding right away.
"You saw it?"
"Oh, I saw it alright, every detail, burned into my skull." Like a burning mark on my skin.
"Regardless, our relationship goes no further than this, I'm afraid." He said, straightening his shirt.
His attempt to stand was stopped by Gojo flipping the table, her gaze met his. His path was obstructed by her.
"Why are you obsessed with me so?"
"Because I love you." She replies, "Because you are mine."
"I do not share that level of 'love' for you." He ground out the words and added. "Actually why don't we-"
She kissed him, surprising the man and she pushed him to the ground. An invisible force took his arms and pulled them above his head.
"Let me go." He yelped as her finger slithered into his chest, his body pinned down by her curse technique. "This is wrong."
"Wrong?" She scoffed. As if the word can stop her. "I don't care."
She bore her eyes down, white hair hanging from the side of her head, blue eyes watching him with an burning intensity. If any other man were to witness this they might fall in love.
But he's already in love. And the fact that is not her whom he fell for made her ever so more mad.
"Come on, sensei, just let me have a kiss, it'll be fast." She leans in slowly.
She wanted affection, his affection, only his, only him. Being so vulnerable, soft, like a popagranite, for her to devour.
Takumi was desperate to reason with her but the girl didn't listen, she didn't want to. In that moment, Takumi was forced into doing something he did not want to do.
"Gojo, no, listen to me." He can taste her breath, minty and vanilla.
She ignores his feet scrapping at the floor, or the laser that came out his eyes.
"You need to stop." Her hair smelled of perfume.
"I said NO!" Time seemed to freeze, Gojo didn't realize it when he had hit her.
He had struck her face, along with a ghostly apparition of a fist, sliding right through her defensive shield.
It had hit her body, even with infinity, she couldn't stop it. It didn't register at all when she flew across the room, her back hit the concrete wall and spilled down to the floor. Blood trickled from her nose and her cheek was swelling from the impact.
Gojo lay there, eyes glued to the ceiling, her body motionless beside some crumbly dust and crack wall. She didn't need to look, she knew, but her eyes. They wanted to see, they saw him, the man she loved so much, and in his eyes, she saw surprise, guilt and brief anger slide by.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you." His voice trembling, "I was....I....you were..." he tried to find something to say.
He kept rambling, all the while, Gojo's attention was focused solely on his face. She still liked him, even when he had hurt her, she knew it but was unable to change her emotion.
It was wrong, but she couldn't help it. There's an insurmountable barrier that was stronger than her, stronger than her limitless, that kept them apart.
Physical pain was not something new to her, the act of him rejecting her caused a more severe pain than that.
Her expression was unreadable, his hand touched her face. That blue eyes glow, more ferocious than before, it was so much, dark, possessive. Just like....Toji.
Takumi pulled away at that thought, just in time for her hand to grab him.
"I've given my answer."
"And this is mine."
The room exploded in blue lights, Takumi flew out from the dust and smoke. High into the cloud, followed by Gojo.
Taken from his inventory, bombs, the big ones, he threw them without conscience for her. Not that she can be harmed by these pitiful explosives.
*Boom* *Booom* *BOOOM!*
Gravity bombs, holy grenade, wormhole core, he suspected at least one would be able to bend her control over space enough for a clean hit.
"NUE, FASTER!" he yelled at the approaching Gojo.
"Do you think that was enough ?" She casually matched his speed. Flying right beside him.
"No." Unsummoning Nue, the skies crackle, no. Not crackle, turn. Black wheels suddenly appear on top of his head.
Gojo spun, blocking a massive car-sized fist with her arm. Swiftly, a kick to her side, a stab to her neck with a black blade. She was moving through the air along with this creature who bore a sickening smile, one that shone her own mad reflection.
"MAHORAGA, SAVE ME!"
Her eyes processed the information of this creature, it let out a roar booming so loud it launched her body.
Maho flies down and catches Takumi, carrying him princess style.
"To the coast."
"Noooo!"
Gojo shook her dizziness away to make chase again. With significantly more difficulties. Her eyes strained on their location, following all the way out of Japan.
"Maximum, lapse: Blue."
She would've been lying if she thought it was going to work, but it still shocked her that her attacks were blocked so easily.
The white female creature turns and, using that black blade, it slashes her attack in half. The blue in which not a single being was able to avoid, not to mention that this is the buffed 100% version of it.
"Keep your hand away from him!" Gojo's insides were burning, it was boiling hot, so much that it hurt her physically.
A continuous stream of max blue was shot Takumi's way, with a fully adapted Mahoraga to infinity, blocking and deflecting them were easy enough as not to disturb Takumi's focus.
It did, however, slow down their overall speed.
Gojo's shriek of anger reached them just as her fist met Mahoraga's. Takumi also joined in, summoning his stand.
It was a 3-on-1 fight.
Gojo held her own, Takumi was barely a threat, what with tricks and weak curse technique.
"F̸̬͔͙̟̖̅̇̃͋̊̔ͅȑ̴͖͎̣̄̐̇̀̆̀͂͌̕̕̚͘͜e̸̡̝̙͍̺̠͍̖͚̱̥̦͒́̾̊ͅͅȇ̴̛̠̩̘͎́̿̆͆̄̓́̈́͒̑͠z̸͚͈̙̟̦͔̈́͛̏̇͋́͆̌͊̾͆̑͒̈́͂̈̀̉́́̑̈́͘̕͘ë̵̮̦̮͈͉̻̭̙͈͉͖́͋̉̄̀̂͆̀̿͛̐̂̄̑͋́̓̒͌̓̃̋͛͘̚͝"
Her body didn't obey her command, she saw that white fist coming, and something else, golden in color but just as dangerous.
She tank the hits, with nose bleeding, head split open, and being impaled. Her curse energy dropping just as fast.
'All the summons' she calculates, 'all the techniques he's using. He is expending more curse energy as I am, even with a bigger pool, that will dwindle him soon.'
"You're mine, sensai!" She matches them, for every punch she gets, she gives them back. The unbearable pain is nothing, nothing if she can't have him.
"And I refused to be denied."
Her hand held Takumi's wrist, then Mahoraga grabbed Gojo by the hair, she was pulled away and got gut punch by The world.
Screaming, one hand dealing with Mahoraga, and one parrying The world, they kept fighting with the sea as their new battleground.
Though she does not have the time to think for a second why do they drag this fight out here for ?
Too busy, occupied with predictions to and fighting Mahoraga and The world to even notice that there is something in the water.
"Now, F̸̬͔͙̟̖̅̇̃͋̊̔ͅȑ̴͖͎̣̄̐̇̀̆̀͂͌̕̕̚͘͜e̸̡̝̙͍̺̠͍̖͚̱̥̦͒́̾̊ͅͅȇ̴̛̠̩̘͎́̿̆͆̄̓́̈́͒̑͠z̸͚͈̙̟̦͔̈́͛̏̇͋́͆̌͊̾͆̑͒̈́͂̈̀̉́́̑̈́͘̕͘ë̵̮̦̮͈͉̻̭̙͈͉͖́͋̉̄̀̂͆̀̿͛̐̂̄̑͋́̓̒͌̓̃̋͛͘̚͝!"
All of them scrambled away from her, Gojo looked down, purple light blinded her. Pillar high as the skies, fully envelops Gojo.
