Chap 122: the white hair teen

News of the Gojo clan setting Takumi up quickly spread among all the attendees. But they were quickly shot down, as far as anyone knew. The fight was only a spar and they had no idea about the bet Takumi had with Kara.

So with insufficient proof, the news was only regarded as the Gojo clan head being embarrassed by a man. As much as Naobita and many other clan members wanted reparation for what they did, they couldn't really do anything about it.

And the fact that Takumi is a clan head means little to the lower-class clan member. The elders from the Gojo and Kamo do, however, act accordingly, some have come to praise and toast with their table.

Later, Gojo Kara came in looking absolutely sloshed. Like she just woke up and is having the biggest hangover ever, face twisted in displeasure.

Narime Kamo came in last, she quickly took her seat and tried to act as calm as she could. Avoiding making any eye contact Takumi's way.

For Takumi, he had little intention of staying, but it was his responsibility to be here. Silently listening to the voice talking and enjoying a cold drink in hand.

"You should hold back on the wine." Her voice, a constant presence ever since he got back.

"But I'm drinking soda." He got what she was trying to do. Tojiko took away the glass in his hand.

This entire time, he was sitting on her lap. Despite being the leader of a clan, she still treated him with a level of possessiveness. Like he was owned by her, and everyone can see it. Being the larger in size, Takumi easily fit in her lap.

Strength, that is what they saw when looking at Tojiko and Takumi. The woman who has the most physical powers, and the man with the most powerful curse technique. The image of them drew all the eyes, and yet, the two couldn't care less for those eyes.

Takumi helplessly sighs as Tojiko rests her head on his shoulder. He let her enjoy that, since the moment he entered her mood had significantly lifted. Not so much filling the air around with killing intent anymore.

At this time, his clone's body saw someone trying to get closer to them.

'It's her.' He recognizes that hair and look, and that shining blue eyes.

He moved to block her path before anyone could notice. Standing between her and Takumi's table. So fast he makes it look like teleportation, because it sorta is.

"What are you doing?" The young Gojo said, She turned her head slightly and gazed up. Her clear blue eyes, a man's sudden appearance surprised her, and a wave of curse energy shot right at him.

Shaking the clone body, he stood there and tank it.

Her voice has no emotion, like a lake with no ripples. But beneath that stillness, he could feel something stirring.

Something heavy.

"Move." Her intention was clear, she wanted to see his main body. Takune has no intention of being disturbed, one fight was enough for today.

The clone's body was pulled aside by an invisible force, the only thing he could track was the faint trace of curse energy left in the air, running in a light blue color.

"Za warudo!" His feet stuck to the ground, but he knew he couldn't hold back her technique unless he made a scene. So he used the 5 seconds of stopped time to take her away from the public view.

Gojo Satomi blinked.

She was about to reach the table where that handsome guy was. But when she blinked, somehow Satomi found herself on a balcony far away from where she was supposed to be.

Satomi turned, and he was there. A servant she saw earlier. He whispered something she didn't quite catch.

"So the time stop can affect even the 'infinity' too, huh ?" Was he mocking her ? He sounded happy to bring her here.

"How did you manage to touch me ?" Gojo was sure nothing could get past her barrier. Even right now, her technique is still active.

Meaning that guy must have something that could affect the very ground she's on in order to bring her out without causing a stir in the ballroom.

Her mind went from angry to confused in the short time span of under 5 seconds as she replayed everything that just happened. Trying to figure out what that man did to her.

She faced him, eyes wary and ready for a fight.

"Hey, now, let's not be hasty here." The man put his hand up in a harmless gesture. "I was just............doing my job." He said matter-of-factly. Which is correct.

"You can't just stroll up to the head of a clan like that."

"I can do whatever the heck I want, and a man servant is not someone to question me." Gojo turns around to leave again.

"Za warudo."

She is back, again. Like she didn't even move from her spot. From her view, it's like time was rewound and she returned to this exact point again.

"The clan head is tired, may I ask what business is that you wanted with him ?" Takune politely asks the still-confused Gojo.

"I just want to meet him, what's so wrong about that ?"

"Well, maybe you could. At another time, another place."

"Yeah ? And where would that be ?" She asks, half-joking and half serious.

"You know of Jujutsu high, yes ?"

"Are you saying someone in the position of a clan head is going to teach there ?"

Takune didn't answer her, just looked straight into her blue eyes and smiled softly. And when she blinked again, he was gone without answering her question.

Something swelled within Gojo's mind, she looked around in anger again. Like a child who had never been told "no" in their life before, she was about to go in again and crash the party. Her hand was midway through activating blue, but she never fired it. The blue orb of curse energy just floated between her fingers until she canceled the technique and sat down on the floor.

The white hair teen feels a sensation akin to being pulled from the deepest part of her heart. She had always been taught to suppress her emotions. To become an emotionless, calculating force of nature. To let nothing distract her from the decisions she makes. To not let anything get in the way of what needs to be done.

But all of that was meaningless when she felt like nothing could stop her. Gojo Satomi realized her power was more than she thought, being way above anyone in her clan. And for the first, she found someone who is just like her, someone who is stronger. She wants to meet him again.

"And that servant guy, too, just who is he?" Meeting one man who is so overpoweredly strong was not what she could say since she didn't even know that was a possibility, and here, she sees two of them.

Gojo placed a hand to her mouth, her previous emotion were gone. Replaced by a warmer and happier tone. Where a smile had begun to form under her finger.

"Heh, I can't wait." She finally decided to leave then.
