Chap 115: affair of wife and husband
How did he end up in this situation? Fighting his own wife ? What kind of man would do that ?
Takumi breathed out a silent sigh, the sky shone down at the two of them, man and woman.
Tojiko is wearing her usual attire, a black top with baggy pants, with her worm curse spirit curling from hip to neck.
Takumi thought back at what she said.
"If you can't manage to beat me, then don't bother going to Jujutsu High." That was their binding vow; it showed how much she really wanted to keep him away.
Not that she thought him weak, as she had lived with him long enough to know his limit of strength.
This was to make sure he had the actual skills to go into the field.
The place they are at is where he once beat Mahoraga. Speaking of which, he didn't tell her about how he completely conquered the ten shadow techniques.
The two circle each other.
Talisman in Takumi's right hand, and a knife in his left.
Tojiko holds a Katana in her right hand in a relaxed posture.
But in Tojiko's eyes, she's witnessing a massive form of dark and green energy towering inside the man as a dark aura engulfs the air around him.
'This is much more than any grade one I have ever fought.' Her eyes narrow, deep in thought.
"I'm letting you have the first chance to strike." Still, she is very confident in her own capabilities.
Between them, only one has the experience of killing a sorceress. The ex-Zennin smiled.
The talisman in Takumi's hand burns with green flames, it would take some time before any effect kicks in, and so Tojiko moves in.
Small dots of shadow open at her feet but were too slow, when they activated. A spike made from shadow would pop out but by then Tojiko's position had already changed.
Toji's mind raced, though her face stayed in a taunting grin. 'Hmmm...those are pretty dangerous, but aren't the real weapon.'
Takumi had yet to use any of his ten shadows, and that part she noticed ever since the match began, Takumi had been carefully moving to avoid her, not like he was afraid.
"Are you worried I'm going to kill one of your shikigami ?" She asks, Katana slicing near Takumi's neck.
*Roar* A pair of claws jumps out from Takumi's feet.
Kurona and Shirone had their mouth of fang ready to bite Tojiko's head and leg individually.
*clang* *arfff*
Instead, Tojiko uses her blade to block Kurona's attack, letting her sword be shattered by the wolf's mouth. At the same time, kicking Shirone's head away from getting chomped on her own leg.
*pop*
Another sword came out of the worm, equipped in her hand, this one is a curse tool. She slashes it at Takumi, who blocks it with his knife.
*Splash* Despite blocking the blade, Takumi stares in confusion at his arm, which is now bleeding.
"But I-" his mind raced, quickly picking up at the subtle difference in her weapon. "Curse tool."
"I have some of my own too." Discarding his normal tool, Takumi drew out from the shadow his own special weapons.
*BANG* *BANG*
Tojiko narrowed her eyes, twisting her body as two bullets sailed past her body.
In Takumi's hand is a pair of guns, not any normal kind of gun.
[Scarborough Fair(B): guns used by the famous Bayonetta]
'This thing came with heels too but too bad i ain't gonna wear it just for style points.'
Takumi let out a barrage of magical bullets, shooting aimlessly at Tojiko. She moves like a blur dodging it all while making it seem like the guns pose no threat at all.
'Show off.' Takumi thought, finger pulling the trigger continuously and moving away to gain distance from her.
The bleeding wound closing at a speed visible to the naked eye. Madoka deer's reverse curse technique pumping through his arm. Tojiko let out a "heeeeh." smile of realization when seeing it.
"It seems like a long match will be a problem to deal with."
*pop*
Now Tojiko uses both hands to wield a pair of Dao, spinning them in a circle in front of her. Slicing every bullet as she ran full speed at him.
'Crap.' His attempt to get away proved to be useless as Tojiko forms rapidly approaching.
*BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG**BANG* *BANG* *BANG**BANG* *BANG* *BANG**BANG* *BANG* *BANG**BANG* *BANG* *BANG**BANG* *BANG* *BANG*
Takumi called out to Nue, its wing appearing, and he was about to jump on, but Tojiko threw one of her Dao with insane precision.
It hit Nue right where the bird's head was, killing it.
Takumi let out a shocked gasp, "Nue!" He felt his connection to one of his Shikigami being cut.
Slaming into a new hand sign, he summon funeral Tiger and tranquil deer at the same time. While doing so, Kurona and Shirone are getting beaten up brutally by Tojiko.
They went down, but not before getting two hits off Tojiko with a bite at her ankle and hand.
'Not yet, I can't let her see.' Dropping the guns, Takumi's mind made the decision to revive the three lost Shikigami.
While they are gone, the power resides in them, he transferred it all to Tranquil Deer. Transforming her into.
Chimera beast: Agito. Shifting in place is a new shikigami form he created. A muscular humanoid shikigami with a feathered mane, a mask over its face that resembles Nue's, feathered arms that end in claws from Divine Dogs, black antlers that protrude from its head from Madoka deer, a feminine torso with black stripes, tiger-like feet, and a tail that ends in a snake's head. It also sports black hakama bottoms.
"What the-" Toji was caught off guard by its sudden appearance.
In the next moment, her body was sent flying into a nearby wall as Agito's claw hand struck her in the chest.
*Fuuu* Takumi breathed out a long sigh.
Takumi dislikes using this method of gaining power, each time he does it, it feels like a part of him is ripped away.
But the current effect of it is undeniable, a great power up with no cost in curse energy, but the death of his Shikigami.
He watched Tojiko shoot out of the rubble fall on her, moving so fast he wasn't even able to react.
Agito lost an arm as its discharge lighting to the surrounding area while trying to catch up with Tojiko's heavenly body.
They exchange fists, Tojiko dodging it all while landing massive blows that leave holes in the Shikigami. All is useless because of the reverse curse technique healing Agito's wound in seconds.
'Please wait just a bit more.' He tells to the Shikigami reside in the shadow.
Running to Agito's aid, Takumi focuses a beam of high-pressure water at Tojiko.
*splash* *Fussswh*
A blue stream of water narrowly hits Tojiko's chest, her body disappears, so his attack only hits an empty space.
"You think I'll have trouble from this ?" Her soft voice was blowing directly into his ear.
Takumi whips his whole body, with a punch winding up to hit.....nothing.
"This is nothing, you should be more serious now."
His shocked face turned to scan around quickly to find her, left, right. His Shikigami didn't manage to find her either, so it moved into defending his back.
"If you think I am hesitant to hit you, you're wrong."
"Don't you love me ?"
"I do, that's why-" He saw it, she appeared so fast he couldn't react in time. "This is going to hurt me more than it hurts you."
Pain wrecks his body, Takumi can register anything but the pain assaulting him right now.
He felt it come from below his ribcage, but it was so much more, like his organ was turned into mush.
He feels cool air, which must mean he was sent flying.
*Cooong* a heavy thud and sound of a metallic object collided into him.
His eyes struggled to open; he didn't manage to order his Shikigami. He heard the sound of fighting in the distance.
'I can't move.' His consciousness is beginning to fade, with it is the control of Mahoraga. Panicking in his last moment of control, he tried to send her an order.
