Chap 98: vampire hunting
One sister bitten by a bat
The other was bitten by a wolf
That's the story he found out, once he joined the vampire coven.
"Just a children's story." They said, yet he couldn't quite believe that. If it were just a story, then it must have an origin.
Takichi's entry to the coven was well received, plenty of trickery was involved to get him in. Firstly, as just a normal foot soldier, he was sent to the front of many, if not all, battles.
Fighting the werewolves' armies led by their leader, Lucian. To him, it is all but a free meal, each battle he grew more powerful from the rivers of blood made by Vampire and Werewolves' deaths.
Soon, he was promoted to be one of the death dealers. His "kin" knew him for his skill and looks, with the higher position vampire always trying to charm him.
It took him a while to sort out all the information inside the Vampire and werewolf blood he consumed.
One of the three leading 3 vampire elders is the progenitor of the entire Vampire species.
And the mother of all werewolves too, he now knows all of their location.
Takichi just waited for the day to come. Unlike most vampires who sleep during that time, his demon form allows him to remain awake. While everyone else in the castle went to their room and rested inside their coffin, he just faked sleeping for some hours, then.
*creaking*
He opened it slightly, not a single soul was around. It was just him, awake and walking freely.
*grrrl* A growling sound came from just outside of his room. The werewolves that were captured were all turned into slaves for the vampire. Guarding their slumbering masters.
Takumi yanked on the chain, pulling the werewolf aside, and went to the top of the castle. Where the tri-council of vampire elders resides.
Takichi entered the somewhat empty room, there was a throne at the end, and everyone sat encircling a podium.
Walking to the middle of the room, he brought his hand above his head, the muscles in his arm tightened as they expanded in order to generate more power as he brought his fist down.
*Crack*
The floor cracked open like an egg, letting him see three coffins. Each with a shorthand for each person's name. M, V, and A.
M for Marcy, the first elder.
V for Viktora, the second elder.
A for Amolious, the third elder.
Takichi prys open the coffin with the M on it, inside is the slumbering body of Marcy Corvinous.
She lay with her arms crossed over her chest, even with him making such a ruckus in the room. She showed no sign of awareness.
Coldly, he stared into her. His hand transformed into a claw and jabbed into her head.
There was no explosion of blood, or any reaction other than Takichi's slit eyes turning red as he absorbed every part of the Vampire into him. Once he is done, there is nothing left, not even clothing, as his body melts down. Feeling his strength significantly improved, Takichi was very confident in deciphering the blood of vampires and werewolves. As he digested their blood, meat, bone, and more, their biology was being studied even while he gained more strength.
"One down....one to go." He closed his eyes, "but before that." He said, focusing on the blood of the vampire flowing inside his veins.
Memories, specifically the memories of their origin. He sees another person, the original immortal. Then visions of a gray-haired werewolf woman come into his mind, located in some mountain.
"What have you DONE!" Something was about to hit Takichi from behind, his eyes moved as he saw the attacker and then dodged.
He has plenty of time to see and react to his enemy, one of the elders. She came from one of the other coffins, V for Viktora.
Her eyes were red as him, through missing the slit pupil. Takich stared at her, a bit confused about why she was so angry. Until he looked at the memories, it was another lie told between her and Marcy.
She hissed at him while keeping her distance. Just circling around Takichi with her open mouth, revealing a set of blood sucking fang.
She knew he was an enemy, too; her vampire senses were screaming for her to retreat. To turn tail and run, looking at him made her hair stand on end for an unknown reason.
Takichi, on the other hand, is still quite calm; he can tell she is conflicted by fear and pride. Fearing him as someone who could kill her, and the pride that she couldn't run from a man.
While he searched for more information, another detail hit him, there was something valuable from her he could take.
"I can use the experience, come on then." His body shook, muscles contorted, and grew. A glint of metalic coat his finger, making a sharp set of claws.
Viktora drew a blade, hissed, and came in swinging. She aimed to tear him apart, parried by a claw hand. She repeated the combo of attacks, changing the direction where she came at him in swift succession. Takichi just swiped a hand and knocked the blade out of her hand.
*Crack* *clang!*
Her blade and the arm that held it were ripped away, it hit the floor. He realized that was too much strength as Viktora just looked blankly at her missing arm, disoriented from what he had just done. It seemed her mind had yet to catch up to the reality.
*Plash!*
That alone was enough time for him to approach her in a blur, turning his left hand into a massive cleaver. He cut her from the abdomen upward, bisecting her from the gut, passing the rib cage, and out of her neck.
*Stab* She hadn't even gotten a chance to scream when he kill her.
His arm then shifted to a tentacle, which coiled around her body and absorbed it as well. All but a single part, one key she has inside her chest.
