Chapter 313: Engage, Don’t Marry

As Seraphina finished speaking, Adrian's eyes widened in surprise. "The former Count himself is coming here?" he asked, his voice laced with incredulity.

Seraphina nodded, her expression serious. "Yes, Adrian. It seems that the Blackthorn family is taking this marriage very seriously."

Adrian's mind was racing with thoughts and questions. He had never expected the former Count to come to their estate, and he wasn't sure what to make of it.

"Will Mira Blackthorn, the current Countess, be coming as well?" Adrian asked, his voice curious.

Seraphina thought for a moment before responding. "Probably not, Adrian. As the current Countess, she needs to be in her territory to manage it. If her parents are coming, it's likely that she'll stay behind to take care of things."

Adrian nodded, his mind processing this information. He knew that Mira Blackthorn was the first daughter of the Blackthorn family and had inherited the Count title. Lyra, on the other hand, was the second daughter.

As he thought about the upcoming meeting, Adrian's expression turned serious. "We need to discuss how to deal with them, Aunt," he said, his voice low and husky.

Seraphina nodded, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Indeed we do, Adrian. What do you propose?"

Adrian thought for a moment before responding. "I think we should just have an engagement ceremony with Lyra, but I won't marry her until I marry everyone else."

Seraphina's eyes widened in surprise, and then she smiled. "Indeed, we have not married you, so having Lyra would be unfair to us. So, we will have you two be engaged for now."

Adrian nodded, his mind at ease. He knew that he couldn't marry Lyra without marrying his other women first. It wouldn't be fair to them, and he didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

As they discussed the details of the engagement ceremony, Adrian couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. He knew that he had made the right decision, and he was grateful to have Seraphina's support.

For a while, they discussed other minor details, such as the guest list and the venue. Adrian listened intently, his mind processing all the information.

As they finished their discussion, Seraphina smiled at Adrian. "I think we've covered everything, Adrian. You'll do great, I'm sure."

Adrian nodded, his expression serious. "Thank you, Aunt. I'll make sure to do my best."

As they parted ways, Adrian couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. He knew that the next few days would be crucial, and he was determined to make a good impression.

But as he walked away, he couldn't help but think about his other women. He knew that he had to take care of them, to make sure they were happy and content.

And he was determined to do just that, no matter what challenges lay ahead.

As he walked, Adrian's mind was filled with thoughts and questions. He knew that he had a long road ahead of him, but he was ready to face whatever challenges came his way.

And with that, he continued on his way, his heart filled with determination and his mind filled with thoughts of his women.

As Adrian walked away from his conversation with Seraphina, he decided to take a stroll around his estate. He needed some fresh air and time to clear his mind.

He walked through the courtyard, watching as the soldiers trained and sparred with each other. Adrian nodded in approval, pleased with the progress they were making.

As he continued his stroll, he made his way through the gardens, taking in the beauty of the flowers and trees. The sun was shining, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers.

Adrian's mind began to wander, and he thought about his upcoming engagement to Lyra Blackthorn. He wasn't sure what to expect, but he was determined to make a good impression to her parents as he had promised her to take good care of her.

After a while, Adrian decided to return to his room to take a rest. He was feeling a bit tired, and he needed to recharge before the upcoming meeting with the Blackthorn family.

As he entered his room, he was pounced on by Sophia. He fell on the floor and she was on top of him, her eyes blazing with passion.

"What took you so long to return to your room?" she asked, her voice husky with desire.

Adrian was taken aback by her sudden attack. "What are you doing here, Sophia?" he asked, trying to catch his breath.

Sophia's eyes sparkled with amusement.

"I've been waiting for you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I pretended to go for training earlier, but I actually came to your room to wait for you. I wanted to continue where we left off, but you took so long to return."

Adrian's eyes widened in surprise. He had no idea that Sophia had been waiting for him all this time.

Before he could reply, Sophia leaned in and kissed him. Her lips were soft and gentle, but they quickly turned passionate and demanding.

Adrian was stunned by her sudden kiss, but he quickly responded. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close as they kissed.

Sophia's lips crashed against Adrian's with fiery passion, her tongue immediately seeking entrance into his mouth. The moment their tongues met, a spark of electricity seemed to pass between them. Sophia moaned softly as she explored the contours of his mouth, her tongue sliding against his in a sensual dance.

Adrian responded in kind, his own tongue tangling with hers as he pulled her closer. The taste of her was intoxicating—sweet with a hint of the mint leaves she'd been chewing earlier. His hands moved to cup her face, fingers threading through her silken hair as he deepened the kiss.

Their tongues moved together in perfect harmony—at times teasing, at others passionately dueling for dominance. Sophia's tongue traced the roof of Adrian's mouth, making him groan, before she gently sucked on his lower lip. Adrian retaliated by catching her tongue between his teeth for just a moment before releasing it with a playful nip.

The kiss grew more heated as Sophia's hands roamed down Adrian's chest, her fingers slipping beneath his shirt to feel the hard muscles beneath. Adrian's grip on her hair tightened slightly as their tongues continued their sensual battle, each movement sending waves of pleasure through them both.
