Chapter 34. Dragon food problem

"Well that's it for the ring. Anything else I can do for you princess?" I asked climbing down off her back.

[Not unless you can find a way to pleasure me?]

"Lay me an egg then we can both get what we want."

[Boo. I want to.]

I thought an her status as she said that.

Tarakona

Comfort too low. Production decreased as a result.

Production quality: F-

I may be getting an egg sooner than I expected.

"Well if this system is anything to go by you can now lay eggs again." I told her. It was still at a decreased rate but we only needed one for both of our quests.

[Really? I don't feel any different and usually I would feel a pressure in my abdomen when I could lay.]

"Well my turn for a weird question, how many eggs do you lay at once? Is it a multiple times a day but only one at a time thing or lots all at once?"  The question had been on my mind for a while but I never had the right time to ask.

[Depends mainly on how much I've eaten. At my height of laying I could lay around three a day but that was during a particularly lazy part of my life. All were at different times throughout the day not at once. However if they were fertilized they would stay in my womb to develop a bit longer and by doing so would create multiple in that window that I would lay at once.]

So one at a time means I can sell them but if she suddenly lays a lot at the same time they're going to hatch. Easy enough to remember, I wonder if they'll still be eggs when she's a dragonoid? Better yet can she still lay them in that form or is it going to be a whole thing about her needing to spend most of her time in pure dragon form?

Wait food! I just solved Zeldi's food problems with the grain barrels now I need to somehow get enough meat to fuel a dragon of her size.

"You're not by any chance a omnivore are you?" I asked with little hope.

[No Master dragons eat meat.]

Thought so. So what are my options?

The first thing that came to mind was the automatic butcher but I needed one thousand points for it. It could be possible if I milked Zeldi consistently for a week but that doesn't solve the issue right now.

The main problem was that she couldn't leave the farm and hunt herself and I don't know a thing about hunting in general to go looking myself. I could trade for meat when Tilty finally let's traders through but I feel Tarakona's appetite would be much larger than the supply. Not to mention the only thing we could trade is Zeldi's milk so getting meat that way would only take us longer to get the automatic butcher.

The next option was my quest reward. As the single item I could get the butcher even though I was looking at the buildings and the polymorphing potion. I mean that has to be my option right?

No way was I going to get one thousand points before Tarakona got hungry unless her eggs were worth a small fortune but the quality is F-.

Zeldi's milk was D- and it only sold for ten points a liter so I wasn't holding my breath for it to be worth much. Her being a dragon could change the price but Zeldi being a producer was rare in itself so....

[Master? Are you okay?]

Lost in my own thoughts I'd walked straight and almost ran into the last wall of the barn.

"Yeah I'm fine. Just thinking about how I'm going to feed you." I answered putting the ring back in my inventory.

[Ah. Yes that might be a problem. I could always eat Tilty? I'm sure Zeldi wouldn't complain, and don't put your ring away Master. It needs to absorb Mana from the surroundings to recharge.]

I brought the ring back out. The well inside had probably filled about one percent so I put it back on as Tarakona said. I wasn't worried about loosing it as it seemed to attach itself to my finger until I wanted it off. I could have questioned it but it went into the 'magic is the answer' list in my head.

"I think Zeldi would complain about Tilty getting off easy if you did that. I'll admit to only knowing her for a couple of days but each time it was always 'sell Zeldi to me or else,' so yeah." I admitted.

"And I'm glad you didn't." The mare in question interrupted. "Not that I thought the wonderer that responded to my pleas would."

Zeldi had put the green dress on this time and held three of the empty bottles in her hands.

"Wonderer. Keep forgetting about that part." I admitted grabbing the bottles and putting them in my inventory.

"Well you shouldn't. I called out to anyone to save me and you answered. Now my savior if you are done washing Tarakona I could use a milking, it's starting to get a little tight in my chest."

[Ooow can I watch? Zeldi has spoken well of your skills in this department.]

"Yes to both of you. Just where would you like us to go as I don't think Tarakona can fit in the house." I said only to be interrupted by Zeldi forcing me onto her back. She had mentioned this was a Centaur family thing so I just accepted it.

"The front porch should work. If you don't mind doing that wing thing again Tarakona? Master doesn't like others seeing me naked."

"Nope you're mine and only mine." I said back.

[Of course I will.]

We got back to the front porch but instead of just milking her on the wood I pulled the mattress out of the bedroom using my inventory and got Zeldi to make herself comfortable on it. We had a bed now so I wasn't to worried on if the mattress got ruined by the elements. It also reminded me I needed to do something about the bathroom.

Tarakona set herself down around the house with her head on the ground with her wings blocking any view her body didn't from the treeline.

"Will you produce milk when you get pregnant?" Zeldi asked the dragon as she settled in and removed her top.

Tarakona seemed surprised by the question but hummed when she figured out an answer.

[No lady Zeldi. Dragons hatch with their teeth already sharp enough to tear into meat. If they cannot find any they can be substituted for milk temporarily, though dragon parents will normally steal or kill to provide for their young.]

I helped Zeldi get comfortable before bringing out one of the bottles for her to hold as I began to massage her breasts.

"Dam I wanted to see what your babies would look like trying to nurse from you." Zeldi pursed her lips together. "If they already have teeth I'm not letting them suckle on mine either."

That got a chuckle out of both myself and Tarakona.

[At ease there Lady Zeldi. Dragonlings are more likely to chase you for your tail.]

"That's not any better." Zeldi complained as the first stream of her milk came out.

It filled the bottle to almost a third just by itself and I realized this will be the first proper time I've milked her since she lost the debuff that limited her production.

[No but it will be amusing to watch.]

The bottle filled to half.

"I can't even come up with anything my own foals would do that's similar. We all can run on our own four hooves shortly after birth but we run for the sake of running not to chase something."

"Maybe they'll be the big sibling and get Tarakona's hatchlings to chase them so their all tuckered out?" I offered as a middle ground.

[An interesting prospect. But I highly doubt it will be just the two of us by the time Zeldi does give birth. Zeldi has mentioned you haven't been here long and already you have both of us.]

She had a point.

"Could you imagine it Master? Hundreds of other producers all lifting their tails just for you, while I get to decide who will become the next mother?"  Zeldi almost had stars in her eyes as she said this.

"Earth to Zeldi." I joked swapping out the bottle for an empty one and selling it as soon as it was in my inventory. Her teat was not even close to being empty so this was going to be a big haul. "How about we focus on what we have here and now because as much as I don't want to crush your dreams, I doubt we will have hundreds of producers on this farm."

My little mare shrugged. "You have a dragon. I'm sure we can figure out some way of letting you ride her from city to city buying all the livestock you can find."

[It could work. Once I can leave that is.]

Yet another thing I needed to sort out.

"Again let's just focus on the immediate future. Like how we're going to feed Tarakona, because she's not going to eat grains."

[That would be unappetizing. I did offer to eat Tilty.]

"Start with her legs but leave the rest." Zeldi answered with a shrug.

Note to self maybe keep an eye on her. Not for Tilty's safety but to make sure Zeldi herself doesn't go too far she can't come back.

The second bottle filled up just as quickly as the first and I had to pull out the third to make sure I didn't lose any.

[You make a lot of milk don't you lady Zeldi.]

"Didn't use to. Normally I'd struggle to fill one of these bottles each day if I milked myself. Clovek here just has magic hands that are so good I want to give as much as I can." Zeldi answered.

[Would I be able to try milking you? Not now but when I have my other form?]

Zeldi hesitated a little. "Only if you don't have claws when you do. I mentioned before that my last milking machine left marks that I'd rather not have again."

[Completely acceptable. I wouldn't want anyone with claws helping me lay eggs either.]

The third bottle filled up and I had to buy another just to keep going, and I was only now switching to her other teat. I still had her other pair to milk. The two full ones in my inventory I sold bringing my total points right now to twenty nine.

"Gods below Master I always love when your hands are on me."

"Glad to be of service."

"Well since you are so glad, mind servicing me a little more?"

I smirked and latched onto the tit that I wasn't milking to suck the last few dregs. "Well in that case turn around my little mare. We can show Tarakona what she's missing out on."

Zeldi shivered then winced as her tail moved and I could almost make out a sticky line between her back end and tail. "By the Everdark I need to stop asking for it. You are so much more aggressive than my father ever was with my mothers."

"I'm only human. With a little Milky buff."

Zeldi snorted. "Sure you are. Then Tarakona care to tell us a little more about yourself just while Master finishes milking me?"

[Gladly.]
