Chapter 169. Scouting
Tarakona was the first to react.
[Dragon, now my love!]
"Easy Tarakona I only just..."
[Dragon. Now.]
"I don't think you should argue with her Master." Zeldi giggled.
Tarakona let out a growl as she started to paw the ground near the door. Part of me was afraid she would dig a hole if she continued.
"Tarakona! I thought I raised you better than this?" Kettu humored.
Tarakona's growl got worse.
[You are here for a baby Kettu. Do not lecture me on wanting to mate with my mate.]
"I've been meaning to ask about that..." I started only to get interrupted.
[Ask later. Dragon now!]
Zeldi giggled again. "Go on, Master. She deserves it, and it's not like anything will happen while you're gone."
Zeldi, why did you have to say that red flag?
"We will make sure the property is safe, Master," Kettu added. "Go, please, Tarakona."
I let out an extremely fake sigh. "I guess I have to then."
Dríade made a gagging motion, but the rest of the girls all rolled their eyes at her. Even Abelha seemed keen on seeing what all the fuss was about.
I didn't wait any longer than that to run outside. Tarakona wasn't the only one who wanted to test out my Dragon form again. The strength it had was intoxicating.My Dragon stepped to the side but still offered a whine of impatience.
*Okay, Deeds. How does this work?*
We have made this as easy to follow as possible. Just think of the Livestock you wish to transform into and say Livestock species transformation. Should be easy.
*I feel a bit like a Power Ranger yelling out my moves before I do them.*
The Deeds didn't get my joke.
"Livestock Dragon transformation," I said as quietly as I could to avoid embarrassment.
Just like last time, I felt everything shift as my body elongated and scales began to replace my skin. My teeth shifted into points, and my eyes started to see way more than I was used to, like an entire colour pallet had just opened up.
Tarakona watched with rapt fascination at my change, only breaking her trance when I was done.
[You look as powerful as I remember, my love.]
I felt it too. The very ground beneath me seemed to have its own heartbeat that I could control but I held back the growl this time.
<I can see why you spend the majority of your time in this form.>
I stretched out my wings, making sure not to hit the house as I did. My height was still a little bit taller than our resident Dragon, and my scales were the same golden as the last time, but I felt untouchable.
<I feel like I can take on the world.>
"You look it as well," Kettu called out from below. The Kitsune had snuck up and somehow touched my side without me knowing. "Tithalia will be impressed. Her expectations for you weren't that high, and I can definitely say you surpassed them." She shook her head and tried to hide a laugh. "And a Golden Dragon as well?"
[My mother can get in line if she wants him. He is mine right now.]
Kettu took a step back and raised her hands in surrender. "Far be it for me to get between two Draconesses fighting over a male. That's a quick way to end up dead."
Tarakona didn't reply to that and instead nuzzled into the bottom of my chin, all the while letting out a rumbling purr. I could also smell her arousal, though that wasn't a big accomplishment, as she was specifically waving her tail towards my nose. It was having the desired effect on my body.
"We're all curious how big it is, right?" Zeldi whispered from her position, leaning out the window. Her whispering was still the equivalent of standing right beside her to my new form.
[Big enough to break you, sister.]
"I know that. I still want to see it." My mare threw back with a wink.
I felt a little embarrassed at that, but it was suppressed by the pride that ran through my scales. They should all want to look; I was mighty.
"Typical Dragon." Kettu hummed with amusement. "I'd say be decent, but I'd have to tell Tarakona, and she's not going to listen."
Voras was equally as enthralled as Zeldi, though she was more... Subtle about it. Not by a lot, though.I could also make out Madu, who had stopped her patrolling at the sight of a giant golden Dragon appearing, but my attention was quickly returned to Tarakona as her tail touched the side of my snout. The movement brought another wave of her arousal to my senses. If Dragons had a heat cycle, she was well and truly in it.
[My love. Shall we retire to my room? There is much I wish for you to do to me.]
A splendid idea.
"Go check up on Dallas's farm first," Zeldi called out. "Make sure it's all safe and stuff."
We both growled towards the Centaur in unison, getting a shriek in return as she hid behind Kettu. Voras scuttled around to the farm side of the house.
[As much as I don't want to, she has a point.]
<I don't mind stretching my wings for a bit.>
[Then you can stretch me afterwards.]
Again, I was reminded of Zeldi saying Tarakona was the horniest of my girls. She did a remarkable job of hiding it some days.
<You are trouble.>
[I am your trouble. I'd say keep up, but you will enjoy the view from behind a lot more.]
With that, she jumped into the air, gaining altitude rapidly before evening out into a glide. Every part of my new form demanded I follow the Draconess. I couldn't tell if I wanted to fly with her or catch up so I could pin her down. My answer was a simple, both.
"Clovek," Kettu said just as I prepared for my own launch. "Take care of her."
<I will.>
My own ascent was a lot less graceful in comparison, but I managed. There was a lot of reminding myself how to fly again, but it was a bit like riding a bike. If bikes required another set of limbs you had to maneuver.
Tarakona did not look away the entire time. If I'd been blind, I could have easily found her by following her scent. Both her natural one and her arousal.
[We will do this quickly, my love. You only have an hour, so I would like to still make use of it.]
<If we don't, then I promise to use the full duration tomorrow.>
My Dragon hummed as if thinking about it before a smile that revealed her pointy teeth took form.
[Both options would please me greatly.]
I let out the Dragon equivalent of a laugh as she directed us in the direction we needed to go. Tarakona also remained below me as we flew, never trying to fly above me. I couldn't tell if that was just because she liked me being on top or not.
[It is a Dragon's custom, my love.]
Tarakona caught me looking.
[I am your mate and as such I can never be seen as above you.]
<You can, though. It's not like I know much about your species and their customs, and not being a Dragon to begin with does make our relationship a little different.>
[Hmmmm. As much as that idea sounds good, I like when you're above me. It is why I treasure moments like these so much. Moments where you can dominate me and I can do nothing but accept my fate.]
I am learning more and more about my girls as the time goes on. It was slightly ironic that the biggest of my girls was the most submissive in the bedroom.
We settled into flying for a bit, just chatting about the land until we came upon Dallas's farm. I was expecting something a little thrown together considering he'd only been in charge for a month or I guess a cycle in this world.Instead, I was shown a sprawling construction site that was heavily removing the surrounding trees in favor of flat land for houses and a few barns. Multiple different species of creatures all moved with practiced precision as they went about their tasks until they noticed our approach.
A call was given, and they all scattered into the trees in different directions as if they could escape if they wanted to.
[My love. Look over there.]
Tarakona indicated towards the far side of the farm where I thought I saw the animal counterpart of Livestock until my Dragon eyes focused enough to see what it really was.
A herd of seven cow girls all with collars that forced them to stay in the fenced-off area they were designated. Any attempt to flee was rewarded with a shock that sent them back inside. Not even a potential Dragon assault was reason enough to let them go.
We stopped and just hovered in the air watching.In another pen, harpies that had one of their wing feathers clipped were dealing with similar treatment, though they huddled together instead of trying to flee having already learnt that lesson.
[This is what farming Livestock normally involves, my love.]
There was hatred in her voice.
[We cannot even save them; if we took them back with us, the collars would just force them to return. Killing their owner would just mean they have to follow him into the afterlife as well, so that isn't an option.]
<Are they all Livestock?>
[Not like me. The Holster girls will probably produce milk but not with any buff.]
So the Deeds don't care about them. Another thing I need to understand at some point.
<You make it sound like the only way to save them is to buy them off Dallas.>
[I have very few other options, and there's only one price he will accept.]
I growled deep in my throat. This was a good opportunity as we had been in need of a Holstaur but not as a trade. It was not worth losing any of my girls. And there was also his Livestock to take into mind. One that had brought him back.
<What if she didn't want to?>
My words were said out loud as the question came to mind. Tarakona let out a confused whine as she didn't follow.
<What if whoever his Livestock is brought him back because if she didn't, all of them would die as well?>
Tarakona nodded.
[Possible. But it still doesn't change anything. If he is a problem that refuses to go away we will freeze this whole farm.]
She was right. As much as I didn't want to admit it.I turned around and started heading back to my own farm. I needed a plan because violence was not going to work as well as I had hoped.
