"So... how are we doing this? '' Asks Mordred with curiosity, wanting to know how I'm going to bring the childs here...
A good question...
"Do you want to be alone with them, give them a test or something? I can watch from afar... " With my level of control over this place, it is an easy thing to do.
After pondering for a moment Mordred decided on...
"Alone. Just watch, Let me give you a good show " She summoned her armor and got ready to receive the kids... at least she is considerate enough to use one of the training swords that were in this painting.
I made some distance and observed from a far place, making it so the newcomers won't be able to sense me...
How I'm going to reach the kids? Well, I sended a couple animals and bugs toward their place, all I have to do is wait for them to be alone and... open the door
--- . --- . ----
In the middle of the night...
A young figure is seen moving through the cover of the night...
Blonde hair, blue eyes and formal clothes...
This is Arthur Pendragon, a Member of the Noble house of Pendragon, one of the Descendants of King Arthur...
A declining family to the point where they have to name their child with memories of the past in order to provoke fate and make those name shiny... again
And it worked, Arthur is a genius Swordsman, a natural wielder of boly swords, his talent was the best the family provided for hundreds of years...
But this left the boy with disappointment when, after training and beating the instructors they sended again and again...
They just can't keep up with him...
That's why he decided to search for his opponent by himself...
Since his family treats him like the hope of the family... they wouldn't let him face any harm... even his instructors were holding back while sparing in order to not provoke his family...
Since his family could provide what he needed... he now has to search for it outside...
Something safe considering his mastery over the sword and the holy properties of it, giving him an easy time against devils...
Or so he taught until he felt like missing a step
Or rather stepping into the air...
Looking down he can see why... he was falling through a door... a door that appeared on the floor out of nowhere...
A disorienting feeling filled his mind as soon as he crossed the door... he felt the world spinning but soon enough he could see why...
He was falling
It didn't take much time for his body to touch the ground, but with the adrenaline going through his body and his senses reacting to the sudden threat...
The seconds felt eternal...
"¡Senior Arthur! '' a familiar voice reached his ears and as soon as he saw the speaker... he couldn't help but to curse in his mind...
Many thoughts went to his mind and of them being someone just targeting a random kid in the night...
But with someone so familiar here? Is more than clear that they were being targeted...
And before they could talk the sounds of heavy steps resounded in the place...
"Le Fay, behind me " As a swordsman he had to take the vanguard and if his guess was correct... they will need all the help they can find...
She nodded and when flying a little over the air... and soon enough they could see their enemy...
Clad in heavy armor decorated with red tones, sword in hand... an exquisite work on the details all over it... and without a doubt, is not something used for decoration...
that armor is for battle...
But Arthur didn't have time think about that, he knows knows that he needs to take the lead... especially in a situation where their outnumber their rival
And so he did
He enhanced his body and then made a jump with all his strength, his frame blocking the view towards his only ally...
His enemy had his sword over his shoulders, a clear sign that he didn't take them seriously, using this as a chance to hurt his opponent he placed all the weight he could in this downward slash trying to cut him in half...
He expected him to dodge, block and meanwhile all would give a chance for Le fay to cast a spell...
In the midst of the swing of his sword... as he sword falls toward His enemy, he felt a strong grip on his wrist... locking him in place, stopping all his momentum at once
"That 's it? " Is what I heard him say...
Le fay tried to cast a spell in order to free Arthur from the enemy grasp... but with the sound of a shattering glass due to the barrier casted before breaking apart, Arhur was sended flying backwards... and by the raised leg of her opponent, a single kick was all it took to send Arthur flying away… no enhancement, just a normal kick…
"Where are you looking at in the middle of a fight? '' She froze in place... she couldn't understand... she was too far... so how is he on her back?...
She felt a hand grabbing into the back of her head, and soon after she was sent towards Arthur with a strength enough to make her flying spell unable to stop her fall landing over Arthur who was getting up...
With the sound of a sword stabbing into the ground, the enemy declared
"You are too weak for me to use my sword, get up we are just getting started" They followed the voice... At this point it was clear that the other party could end their life in any moment if they wanted to do so... and now, a normal wooden sword appeared in her hands...
Seeing that he is not an enemy... At least for now, Arthur tried to gain a little bit of information...
"Who are you? Why bring us to this place" While also buying time for Le Fay to cast her spells...
"You should state your name first, Knight '' Arthur was trying to figure out who he was... a Knight with a presence like that, a presence that puts in shame any and every Knight he has seen so far... where did he come from?
"Arthur Pendragon " He said with a polite voice while getting on the other side of the field and getting ready to fight, Arthur signaled with his eyes for Le Fay to do the same...
"Le Fay, Pendragon, Sir Knight '' She started to float once again in the distance, in a perfect spot for both defend and attack while being far enough for her opponent to not reach her...
"So you really are this world version of Father's descendants, you even carry his name and the one from my mother... -"
This world? Father and mother? Dont tell, There is only one person who would use claim those name like that, both of them though at the same time
And didn't have to wait too long to receive the answer for their doubts...
"The knight of Treachery Mordred, Mordred Pendragon. Your hands are trembling... but it's not from fear, right? Get ready, I won't let someone with their name stay as weak as you are "
An opponent... who cares about his name... his hands are trembling with excitement for fighting a worthy opponent... at last
As for Le fay? She can feel the mana inside Mordred… so she couldn't help but to ask herself… What magic does this Knight use, and… can she learn it?
And now that she looks around the place... A childish curiosity appeared on her hearth...
