Jesus Christ. Maple invoked the name of another world's God, and it cut off. She shuddered. It was broken. The class system here was completely broken. It couldn't be serious—
A sudden chill made her shiver. It felt like...a presence. Something curvy and sultry, rather than the robotic non-presence of whatever gave out levels. Maple felt oddly aroused, though this new presence hadn't even said anything yet.
And then she did.
"Hello there! Are you tired of your weird and boring old classes? Want to forgo it all for something different? Something better? Well, now you can! Go...here."
The voice sounded as sultry as the presence felt—but the tone was way off. Even so, Maple's arousal was growing. Odder still, a direction had appeared in her mind. Like a compass, pointing to something in the distance. She'd be able to find it from anywhere.
Clearly, this lady in her head was a weirdo. She was doing something to her mind. Sasha was familiar with dream magic and would be her best bet. If she screamed loud enough...
"No, wait, wait. I'm a friend. Oops. I thought it'd be funny, break the ice a little, but I guess the joke didn't land."
Maple hesitated. She was stunned, really. Could it be a dream? But each second, her arousal grew, and there was a...pressure getting heavier around her. She might not be able to scream, soon enough.
"Ah, I can't stay for long. How about this pitch, then: I've been watching you, my dearest Maple, and your actions have amused me greatly. I wish to reward you, and have the perfect gift thanks to today, but you must go and obtain it yourself."
She sounded haughtier now, and less like a TV ad. Was that better or worse? Nothing she said made any sense. She should just scream before it's too late—
"—Ah, that made you trust me less. Okay, listen. You'll get more info if you go there, and you won't have to accept it. I know you're not satisfied with your current classes—a tiny error on my part, I'll admit—but I'm just positive you'll like this better."
"Wait. Is it your fault I'm a [Slut] and [Interspecies Seductress] of all things? That's not a small error. Who are you? And give me back my old, [Lesser Enhanced Pleasure]. The new one sucks."
It felt silly to focus on the last part while speaking to whoever this was, but she'd gone to sleep expecting to level and still wasn't over the last time. If this was some kind of manager for the system—she was filing a complaint.
The sultry voice laughed at that, and Maple really wanted to pin her down and show her what for. The sexual pressure was getting intense, but she had dealt with plenty of that by now. She could hold on a little longer.
"Oh, my little Maple. I'm so proud of you, really! You are correct, unfortunately. I meant for it to be a little nudge, but I used rather too much force, didn't I? You have my apology for that. I never meant to lock you into those classes, you should have been able to choose. Alas, it would cost too much to undo now. Unless..."
She made the distant marker blink in Maple's mind. Ugh. Maple felt her body squirming on its own now. She barely managed to utter her next question.
"What's...there?"
"A surprise! It'll be entertaining, if that helps. To use a saying from your world, you'll have to 'fuck around, and find out'. It's up to you, ultimately. Continue as you are, if you'd prefer. Full disclosure, some of those Skills had been jokes. Not even I know for sure what you'd end up with."
Some? Maple tried to ask, but she could hardly breathe. The mysterious voice continued, faster.
"Oh and, it might be slightly dangerous; just the local fauna and such, I imagine. Maybe bring help just in case, but be wary. Wars are fought over the artifact you'll find. I'll suspend your levels for...a week? Is that long for you, or short? Hm, a week should be fine. I should go. Good luck!"
Then she was gone. Maple gasped for air. She'd had so many questions, but—the pressure. Her panties were soiled—again—and Emma squeezed herself tighter around her. Rachel mumbled from her floor-bed.
"Maple? Who were you talking to?"
"...I don't know."
An [Innkeeper] cut her session with a certain adventurer short—leaving her a dream avatar to have her way with—and shot up in bed.
"Who the hell was just in my inn? What has that girl done now?"
She focused on collecting the orgonic energy before it was gone. It had other names, but Henry Whatsit had made that one grow on her. She couldn't get involved in that mess, but if the truth ever did come out—he'd be welcome to all the free drinks he wanted.
Maple's shenanigans were another thing she didn't want to be involved with. She had some guesses about what had happened during the day, and—the less she knew, the better. There'd surely be an investigation, and as long as Sasha had nothing to do with it herself...
She could hope she'd be fine.
As for right now—Sasha shivered at the familiar aura. It couldn't be, but...she'd sleep on it. Let Maple explain in the morning.
She cast [Sleep] on herself, and rejoined the goofy blonde.
"Have you been a good girl while I was a—..."
"Sasha! I turned myself into a—look how many holes I have! You'll fill all of them, right?"
"O-of course."
She lived to please.
