Streaking through the city

Maple ran out the door, worried they'd already gotten far without her, but surprisingly they were both still in the alleyway by the house.

Anemone sat crouched in the dark, arms wrapped around her knees. It wasn't the happy-streaker body language that Maple expected. She approached slowly, trying not to draw attention.

Anemone looked up and whispered for the first time that night. Whisper-shouted.

"Finally!"

She stayed balled up though, and Emma looked worried too. Maple offered her a hand.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm fine."

The reply seemed to be as much for herself as it was for Maple. Apparently she'd had a fit of nerves in the dozen or so seconds it took for Maple to follow. Was her presence really so reassuring? Maple waited for her to take the lead. It wouldn't be a problem at all if she wanted to call it off and go back inside.

Anemone's confidence returned in a flash, of her boldly poised body, arms outstretched as far as they would go.

Her form was only just visible in the dim mix of lamplight and moonlight. A subtle, yet enticing view. If Maple were out this late and focused on getting home, she might even overlook her.

But when her eyes focused and the light caught just right, she saw tight curves, taut nipples not at all hidden by the thin layer of paint covering them, and a lewd face enjoying every second of her exposure.

Maple's leer lasted only a couple seconds before Anemone clapped her hands and whispered sharply.

"Let's go! I'm gonna run through the light!"

"Wh—"

Maple reached out to stop Anemone, but was too slow. The thought of seeing her in full light crossed her mind and she hesitated. She hurriedly cast [Detect Gaze] on all of them, just in time to watch Anemone cut across the lit street. Empty, but it would take only one person seeing her like that—one [Guardsman]—to ruin everything.

Anemone had a bounce to her step. She stopped in a shadow on the other side of the street, then turned back toward Maple, panting and grinning.

Unbelievable.

A rush went through Maple like a secondhand high. Her stomach fluttered, and another emotion bubbled up from the depths.

Annoyance.

Anemone was going to get them caught. She was being too risky. And...why did she get to have all the fun?

Anemone took off down another dark alley before Maple could rein her in, and then Emma pulled Maple along by the hand, her face full of excitement. She was using her fully exaggerated sexy form. It was their turn to run across the street and she was dragging Maple with her.

The secondhand thrill was even higher now. Their interlocked fingers implicated Maple as a clear accomplice to her slime girl's debauchery. Her face reddened just a little as the light illuminated them.

Before she could think too much about it and begin to panic—they'd made it to the other side with no pings against her [Detect Gaze]. They paused there, basking in delight as Anemone had. Maple chuckled. That wasn't bad at all.

A dangerous idea began infecting her mind, and Emma gave her a knowing eyebrow raise. Maple shook her head. It was too risky. She ignored the temptation and raced after their other accomplice.

Several turns down dark alleyways later, they caught up to her. She was crouching again, behind a barrel in a dark alley, her face obscured by her hair. Her whole body trembled slightly, and at first, Maple feared the worst.

Then Anemone gasped and her whisper was nearly drowned out by a moist schlicking sound.

"Maple—I can't—wait any longer..."

She went at it desperately in a pitiful display of lust. Maple stared down at her with contempt.

"Jeez."

She hadn't paid attention to what the front of the building was, but there hadn't been any lights on so they were probably safe enough there.

Anemone stared up at Maple, a pleading expression on her face.

How frustrating. Here Anemone was hogging all the fun again. Maple made a quick risk-reward calculation, then cast [Phallic Transformation] on herself.

One hand gently grabbed the back of Anemone's head, while the other slipped her pants down. All would be righted, now. She guided Anemone's mouth to where she needed it.

Finally, a thrill of her own. She could almost say it was the most perverse thing she'd done, but for better or worse, several of her memories objected.

Anemone enthusiastically latched onto her cock. She used only her mouth while her hands worked on her own pleasure. Maple guided her head with a hand, feeling blissful warmth, suction, and that tongue.

Maple let her eyes roll back into her head while she enjoyed the sensations. She soon felt Emma lifting her shirt up inquisitively. Take it off? Smirk, smirk, smirk~

She mentally translated the body language she could feel. It was more than she'd initially planned, but what was one more calculated risk? Something that would enhance this moment even further. Simple risk-reward.

The desire had been there from the start, anyway. Faintly.

Emma took her clothes for her, and then she was just a silly bee-girl getting her stinger polished by a perverted half-elf in a dark alley.

She'd just been really getting into it when Emma tapped her urgently. Maple's eyes snapped open and flicked down the alley. Shadows. Footsteps. And then a voice she thought sounded familiar.

"Hello? Who's there?"

All of Maple's excitement turned to pounding dread. She pulled her cock out of Anemone's mouth with a horrifying pop, and ducked behind the barrel next to Anemone. The sound of her own heart nearly deafened her.

Emma had all of Maple's clothes. A shirt protruded from her body, but Maple didn't have the space to put anything on. Nor did she trust herself to maneuver behind the barrel without being seen. The play was to pretend they weren't there and wait for the woman to leave.

It was easy. They had this—

Anemone was still trembling against her. Over the sound of Maple's pounding heart was the schlicking of Anemone's fingers going at it relentlessly.

"What are you doing?!"

Anemone grabbed Maple's hand and pulled it to her crotch before replying with her own frantic whisper and gasp.

"I can't wait any longer—"

She was soaked and clearly about to blow. How silent would she be then? She resisted Anemone's gyrations, and her anxiety doubled when another holler came from the street.

"I said, who's there? I'm not afraid to call for the Watch!"

Maple met Emma's eyes. Anemone was a lost cause, but her reasonable accomplice seemed to understand how bad the situation was. And Maple suddenly placed the voice.

"Is that Betty?"

Emma made an 'o' with her mouth before nodding rapidly. She held up a finger, seemingly having an idea. Her head turned toward the woman, and she seemed to hesitate.

Then, she meowed.

It was a perfect imitation of a cat, actually. Maple raised her eyebrows, impressed. She'd barely been making goofy sounds the last time she'd heard her.

Emma shot her a nervous glance as they waited for Betty's reaction. Anemone was lost in her own world, grinding against Maple's hand and trying to get her fingers to comply. Betty's voice rang out again.

"Oh, just a stray. Are you hungry? I have just the thing. Here, kitty kitty~"

Emma's eyes widened and she gave Maple another look. She hesitated again, and then surprised Maple with another perfect imitation.

A dog's woof, this time.

"When'd you learn how to do that?"

Maple whispered, but before Emma could answer with anything more than a nervous glance, Betty took another step into the alley.

"Oh my, a pup too? Here little babies, I've got some milk and treats for both of you."

Emma's bark was nowhere close to sounding like a puppy. Betty was insane. Maple was seriously considering the run-away-naked-and-hope-it's-too-dark-for-Betty-to-recognize-them plan, when Emma made another sound.

"MOOOOooooooo"

Silence followed. Even Anemone's lewd endeavor ceased. A bewildered expression crossed her face and she seemed to wake from her daze, finally comprehending how close they were to getting caught. She whispered some question, but Maple ignored her.

Betty took another step toward them.

"Okay, this is getting ridiculous. Who's there? Margaret, is that you pulling my hoof again?"

Maple and Emma stared at each other in horror. Emma's mouth was opened slightly, and she kept glancing toward Betty. She couldn't possibly have another animal to imitate, right?

Maple tried to think of something she could do, naked as she was. Magic?

She had one spell that might create enough of a distraction for them to get away, if she was okay with doing that to poor Betty.

That would be [Phallic Transformation], of course, but that might be too much. And it occurred to Maple that she might be the only one in Syber who even knew that spell. All it would take is a few pieces coming together and she could very well be outed as the culprit.

Drat.

Just as Maple was about to cast the spell, and Emma seemed on the verge of another sound—a second voice joined in.

"What's that now, Betty? The only thing I'm pulling is my back while you make me carry all this."

"Oh, but it was the strangest thing, I swear I heard a—"

Betty turned around, and Maple took that as their one chance. She dragged Anemone by the wrist and followed Emma out the other end of the alley.

Then it was more running and dodging light until they got to their destination; a dirt trail that forked off from the paved path along the river. Maple worried the shin-high grass could have ticks or something, but eventually they found a small clearing surrounded by trees. The river would drown out any noise they made, and it was secluded enough that nobody should find them.

And the only light came from the two moons. She stared up at them and thought of Earth's moons—er, moon. She caught her breath and got her memories straight. How long had she been here that she was already thinking of two moons as the norm?

In this world there was the big one, and loyally orbiting it was its little sister...someone had told her that story once. She couldn't quite recall who that'd been, but she wasn't wasting any more time thinking about it.

Now that they were in the clear, Maple yanked Anemone over to her.

"You almost got us caught! What were you thinking?"

Emma nodded along uncertainly and glared at Anemone. The half-elf avoided both of their gazes. Her voice trembled, showing she did at least get it.

"S-sorry."

Oh yeah, Maple was angry about the risk-taking, and she was taking their irresponsible member to task, but more than that feeling was...the buzz filling her entire being. An excitement that was almost too much to handle.

"Mhm. Bend her over, Em."

Emma nodded once, clearly relieved they weren't actually angry, and happily restrained Anemone with her gelatinous body. She morphed around her front, bending her over and leaving her bum exposed. Anemone cried out.

"Huh? Oh—oh noo?"

"Yeah, that's right. Are you sorry?"

The spank rang out much louder than the sound of the river, followed by a slight moan of pleasure from Anemone. Her voice remained uncertain still, with a tinge of hopefulness.

"O-ow. I'm sorry—I couldn't control myself!"

The next several spanks were softer. Maple wasn't that angry, but she was bursting at the seams with prana.

"We forgive you, right Em? But you do have to be punished."

Emma gave a tiny thumbs up with part of her body, the rest of which Maple was sure was busy 'punishing' the parts of Anemone she enveloped. Maple giggled as she braced herself behind the half-elf.

So things had continued, in as ordinary a way as Maple's life had become.

She was mid-plap, painted like a bee to match her baby erogel wings, and just beginning her release into the half-elf she was double-teaming with her soap slime girlfriend—as was ordinary for her these days—when a light hit her from behind.

"Mmf, what the—"

At first she thought someone had found them, but the shadow in front of her followed no matter what direction she turned her body. Then, craning her head back all the way, she could just make out a few glowing feathers.

Her wings were emitting a radiant light.

Maple pulled out of Anemone. The stress of the situation had already ruined her orgasm, and even Anemone's enjoyment as she looked back from her bent over position.

"What is it?"

A miniature version of Emma's head popped up beside Anemone. A goofy smile was on her face, but she'd stopped what she was doing to Anemone too.

Anemone's tone grew annoyed as she tried to get her and Emma back to hitting the right spots so she could get off.

"Why are your wings glowing? Turn them off and—"

"I don't know! I'm trying."

Maple whispered frantically. Even isolated as they were, the light from her wings traveled far and could get them arrested if someone spotted them.

She did have a theory.

After her disappointing nut inside of Anemone, half of her unprocessed prana had been converted to the usable kind, just like always. It seemed her wings were either part of that process, or just reacting to it.

She had no idea how to make them stop, however. Brighter and brighter, the light was...angelic. A bright white light with a morphing prismatic rainbow effect, forming a spotlight around the trio.

"Quick, give me my shirt."

Emma abandoned Anemone entirely, earning a pout from the woman, and wrapped Maple's shirt around her wings. The cloth helped, but not enough.

"Why isn't it working? They're covered completely, right?"

Emma nodded seriously, and then had to giggle. She brought out her chalkboard to quickly scribble a couple words. A finger pointed at Maple as she held the board up to the light.

Glowing bee.

Maple burst out laughing. She was like—Rudolph. She'd have to explain that one to them sometime.

Even Anemone finally gave up at that point. She retreated to a darker area outside of Maple's light and began putting her clothes back on.

"Maple, make it stop."

She was trying, truly, but she couldn't figure it out. Moving her prana around inside of her didn't seem to do anything. Her only hope was that they would stop on their own soon.

Several minutes later, her wings remained lit.

They decided to call it a night and make their way back to Anemone's house, fully clothed and with Emma in her modest humanoid form.

Anemone wasn't happy. Maple promised they'd get up to more fun once they were home, though with half her prana already converted and how late it was, she wasn't feeling that interested in more activities and part of her was already thinking of an excuse to leave.

Then Anemone hit her with a question.

"What species did you say you were again? You were glowing, and I've never heard of any avians with annoying glowing wings like that. It was very pretty, of course, but still..."

"Uh, well, you know...some kind..."

Anemone lagged a step further behind.

"You don't want to tell me?"

"It's not that, just...I shouldn't."

Anemone was fun, but she didn't quite feel trustworthy. She was too impulsive to let in on the secret, and it'd definitely be bad if everyone knew she was part of some extinct species.

Anemone replied coldly.

"Okay."

They walked back in awkward silence, still illuminated by an umbrella of light. Two [Guards] waved upon seeing them, and Maple felt their gaze linger until they'd turned a corner. The light certainly attracted attention, probably even kept them safe from crime to some degree.

Emma bounced between Maple and Anemone, joking and trying to restore their previous good mood. It mostly hadn't worked, but by the time they'd reached her home, Anemone had stopped pouting.

Maple excused herself to the bathroom first—most of the houses in this area had full plumbing, Maple had learned—and gestured for Emma to go have fun in the meantime. Anemone looked plenty satisfied by that as she dragged Emma up the stairs with a lewd look on her face.

Inside the bathroom, Maple sighed while inspecting her wings in the mirror. Thankfully, the light had faded and looked like it'd be gone entirely soon.

"What a weird species."

She washed her face and mentally primed herself to join the two upstairs, but as soon as she opened the door she bumped into Leon. His voice was casual.

"Oh, Maple."

Maple's face felt hot again. He basically knew what they'd been up to all night. He'd watched her during the Cum Race. She stuttered her response.

"L-leon. Um, hi."

He gave her a friendly smile.

"I trust everything went okay? I know Anemone can be a bit...intense."

"Yeah, it was fine. No problems at all, haha."

She took a step toward the stairs, praying they could breeze past that subject. Leon continued, eyes set on the floor.

"We've had issues before, with other 'friends' she'd brought home. It always goes great, up until it doesn't."

"Oh. What do you mean?"

Leon sighed.

"She often flips on people, and they'll suddenly go from being the best person in the world to the worst. I'm not trying to scare you off or anything, but just thought you should be aware ahead of time. I mean, she's not violent, but it can still be a lot. Especially when she flips back the next week and loves you again."

"Oh."

Maple took a few seconds to take that in fully. She noticed the dark circles under Leon's eyes.

"That sounds really difficult. I don't know, um, she's not been that way so far at least."

"It is difficult, yeah. Not just for those around her, but for her too. She's not choosing to be that way, I don't think. Anyway, I'm not saying you should stay in a bad situation for yourself if it comes to it, just...try to go easy on her if it does?"

Maple nodded, still unsure how to feel about all that. It was like he was warning her off from Anemone, but also not. And Anemone hadn't really been that bad, so far.

"Yeah, okay. I'm sure it'll all work out, though. She seems like a good person overall, right?"

That seemed to satisfy Leon. He nodded and relaxed his shoulders a little.

"She is. Anyway, that's not the only thing I wanted to talk to you about. I was wondering how serious you were about your dairy thing. A co-op style entity like you described usually involves a lot of paperwork and it can get messy with multiple owners. I am a [Lawyer], so if you happened to need any help with that..."

"Oh! I'm pretty serious about it. Yeah, actually, could you really? I have no idea how any of that works, honestly, so..."

Maple fidgeted with her hands. It was embarrassing being so incompetent. Should she have even said yes when she had no idea if she could afford whatever his fee was? But she wouldn't even know where to start without legal help from someone. Better an acquaintance than a stranger.

Leon smiled and clapped his hands together.

"Great. I'd be happy to help, starting with a free consultation. Right now would be fine if you wanted to sit down with me for a bit, but I understand you might have a prior commitment if you wanted to just start fresh tomorrow instead."

His eyes moved to the stairs and Maple winced. She thought about it, but there was no way she could bring herself to say she was too busy having sex to move forward with the business she was 'pretty serious' about.

"Now's fine! That'd be great, actually. Thank you so much."

"Of course. Let's move to the table and I'll ask you some questions."

Leon led her to the dining table and pulled out a notepad. He asked about her goals for the business, and Maple's mind wandered toward what she was missing out on upstairs only a few times.
