4.8: The strange challenger
Hey all! This will be the last of the “Overthrow the Overlord” chapters. I will be resuming my {Main Character} duties starting with this chapter. That's not saying there won't be the occasional chapter written from Gehenna or Emily’s POV, but from here on out folks the majority will be “all Allie, all the time.” Enjoy you sexy peeps, and don't forget to show my author some love!

As I was looking over the results of the day and all the new potential members, Hana suddenly appeared beside my throne.
“Allie… Nialla asked me to relay a request for you to summon her directly to your throne room.”
I nodded to her and turned my head as I opened my Minion menu. I selected Nialla's photo and visualized her appearing in front of me. A black outline of her took shape and quickly coalesced into my sexy catgirl lover. I started to smile as she looked down at me until I saw the serious expression on her face.
“What's up, babe? You look upset about something.”
Nialla opened one of her menus and quickly scrolled down until she found what she was looking for, she swiped her hand and the screen turned so I could read it. The screen was a list of challengers who participated in the Overthrow the Overlord event and their overall stats. In the middle of the screen was a name that had been highlighted.
Isskay - † ͽѣψοϡᴦοᴦ ϯο³Պ - Level ᴈϡɣѯϟƹ ѣᴪѯǷ ψꞇο˙ϟөꞇ Total Wins: 4Total Losses: 0Total Points: 4
The longer I stared at the incomprehensible text, the more it seemed to resonate with me in a way that I couldn’t understand. I still had absolutely no clue what the fuck it said, but something about it seemed almost… familiar; like an incredibly eerie sensation of déjà vu. I must have been staring at the text on the screen for longer than I realized, because suddenly I felt myself being shaken and pulled out of the daze I had been in. As the brain fog cleared, I found myself looking up at a very concerned Nialla and Hana.
“Allie, babe, are you with me?”
I shook my head a few times in an effort to clear it and inhaled sharply. I forced a smile onto my face despite my heart feeling like it was pounding out of my chest and leaned into Nialla’s touch as she put her hand on my cheek.
“I’m good, my loves. That was… odd. I have no idea what happened.”
I could tell Hana was attempting to speak in her usual monotonous tone, but the edge of concern in her voice was obvious.
“Were you able to understand that text? The way you stared at it almost… reverently made it seem like you could.”
I thought back to the odd text and felt the fleeting sensation like that of a fading dream. I could still remember the vague sensation I felt when I read the strange symbols, but I couldn’t actually remember anything beyond the name Isskay. I looked over at Hana and shook my head slowly.
“No. I got this super odd feeling of déjà vu when I looked at them, and… I can’t really put it into words how it made me feel. It was… really fucking weird. But… No. The only thing I could make out was the name Isskay and the word ‘level.’”
Both girls suddenly looked at me with wide eyes. Nialla turned towards Hana before looking back at me.
“Neither of us could read any of it. Before she went into her latest match, Em said she couldn’t read it either. But that isn’t even the weirdest part. Not only did this… Isskay effortlessly beat me, Tifa, Jade, and Em, but it was how she beat us that was so odd. Not only did she completely ignore the secondary objectives, she did everything in a way that was completely devoid of emotion. She made Hana seem like an overly emotional personal by comparison. Uh… No offense.”
“None taken. You are correct in your analysis. After reviewing each of the matches thoroughly, her level of detachment seemed to be just her natural state of being. As I’ve already discussed with Allie, the lack of emotions I display on my face and when I speak is intentional, and takes a conscious effort on my part. For this Isskay, she seemed to just… not have emotions. The chances of her being an NPC are very high. That’s not saying that any of the NPCs in our clan are emotionless, more that it would be next to impossible for a human player to maintain that level of detachment at all times. The incomprehensible text just furthers that theory. A check of the leaderboards of the entire game show that you and Nialla are still the two highest level players, so that effectively brings the odds of her being a human player to effectively zero.”
I sighed loudly and drummed my fingers on the arm of my throne as I considered everything Hana and Nialla had said. I pursed my lips tightly and thought about exactly how I wanted to proceed.
“Given that weird as fuck déjà vu I felt, the fact I can read her name, and everything you told me… there are a couple of things that stand out to me. Out of curiosity, Hana, did you or Gehenna have any contact with her?”
Hana cocked her head to the side slightly and held up one finger. Her eyes adopted that vacant look that indicated she was speaking to someone else through another projection of herself, and I waited patiently for what I assumed was Gehenna’s response. After a moment her eyes focused on me and she shook her head.
“Neither of us had any sort of contact with her. Gehenna also confirmed that she was unable to read any of that strange text. She expressed a great deal of concern regarding this person and said should you choose to fight her, do so with an abundance of caution.”
“That honestly seems kinda tame for her given the context of everything…”
“Actually her exact words were, ‘I swear to all the hells that should this bitch try something to harm Allie, there is nothing in existence that will stop me from exacting vengeance. Please tell my love to proceed with all caution.’ But… I figured it was best to paraphrase.”
“That’s more like it. Well… fuck. What do you two think I should do? I’m under no obligations to fight anyone, even if they do have enough to points to challenge me. But it feels… wrong somehow.”
“Retreating and or refusing to fight can easily be construed as weakness. You’ve shared with us that your demonic form despises all forms of weakness, so naturally you would feel inclined to fight her.”
I exhaled loudly and shook my head.
“Its more than that. Something about this person makes me feel like I need to do this… but I can’t explain it beyond that.”
Both women nodded solemnly at me before Nialla turned around and moved so that she was sitting on my lap. As her head rested on my inner shoulder, she looked up at me with those big beautiful blue glowing cat eyes.
“Before you fight her… can I have like… five minutes of cuddle time? Pleeeeeeeeeeease?”
I chuckled softly and nuzzled the side of her face with my cheek.
“Of course, kitten. Hana, please keep an eye on Isskay and let me know if she does anything else odd. Gimme like… 10 minutes and I’ll send her the invite for the PvP challenge myself.”
Hana nodded and turned to leave, but I quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to me. I let go of her and gently tapped my lips with my finger as I gave her a coy smile. She returned the expression with one of her ‘almost smiles’ and leaned down and kissed me deeply. After a moment she pulled away and let out a happy sigh of contentment.
“I love you, Allie.”
“And I love you Hana. Remember… ten minutes. I’m sure I’ll need a reminder so we don’t get too carried away.”
With that, I gave my sexy kitten a naughty grin and used the hand that I had expertly maneuvered into position to squeeze her butt. She let out an adorable squeak before shifting in place so she was now straddling me. I saw Hana disappear from view before I looked up at the gorgeous catgirl in my lap.
“How many times do you think I can make you cum in ten minutes, kitten?”
