3.90: Arc 3 Finale: Part 3
As my weight pressed down on my sexy blonde demon lover, I panted and basked in the warm afterglow of truly transcendent sex. My HP was very slowly dwindling from the black flames coating Gehenna’s body scorching and licking at my skin, but I paid it no mind. I sighed in blissful happiness and eased myself down next to my half-conscious lover. She let out a low displeased groan as my length slipped out of her, and slowly turned on her side to face me. I was surprised to see black veins already running up her neck, and I knew it wouldn’t be long before my corruption took hold. She reached out to stroke my face, her eyes widening as she saw the rapidly spreading transformation magic showing through her skin.
“It feels… strange. I feel an odd connection to you that I… can't put into words. Like… my whole body is being pulled towards you.”
I looked down at the complete lack of space between us and then back up at her gorgeous face. Her eyes followed mine and she shook her head slightly and gave me a small smile as she realized what I was doing.
“Not like that. It’s… deeper. Something at the very core of me.”
The words were out of my mouth before I could stop them.
“That’s what she said.”
Gehenna gave me an amused grin which quickly shifted to a pained grimace. A low groan of discomfort issued from her lips and I reached out and pulled her towards me, wrapping my arms around her in an effort to aid in whatever way I could. While her body temperature had always been incredibly hot, the skin to skin contact was actually causing me a great degree of pain after only a few seconds. After half a moment, Gehenna must have sensed my rapidly increasing discomfort and pulled herself free from my grasp. She slowly forced herself into a sitting position and locked eyes with me. I was somewhat startled to see that the corruption veins had actually spread to her eyes like small inky black spiderwebs. Her body shook slightly as she panted through gritted teeth, her fingers reaching for mine but pulling away at the last second. The red spark of flame that jumped from my outstretched fingertips to hers was the match to the literal powder keg that was her body.
I felt my reflexes go into overdrive from the impending danger as I spread my wings wide and forced myself into the air. Crimson flames exploded beneath me and expanded outwards, growing larger and larger by the second. I flew as high and far as I could while the fire surrounding my lover continued to build like a star going supernova. While I didn’t want to go too far from Gehenna, my HP was plummeting rapidly. Her pained shout was the final push I needed to retreat as far as I could.
“ALLIE… GET… OUT… NOW!!!”
I flew as quickly as my wings would allow me to navigate the twisting corridors of Gehenna’s castle when my entire body was suddenly wracked by intense, excruciating pain. My wings crumpled and I hit the stone floor hard, my vision swimming while my body began to spasm and writhe. It felt as if I was being stabbed by hundreds of thousands of long sharp needles from every possible angle, each jab causing every nerve in my body to explode in pure mind-numbing agony. I could feel my demonic side doing its best to suppress my skyrocketing panic, but my heart still felt like it was beating so hard it would break my ribs. My HP had already been low as I fled from the room where I’d left Gehenna, but as I forced my eyes to focus on my HUD I saw something that confused the hell out of me. Instead of going down any further, my HP was rising at an insane rate, but it was already well past what would have been 100% of my health before all this began and still climbing by the second.
A fresh wave of searing pain made me lose focus on whatever was happening to me and I shut my eyes tightly in an effort to center myself and just let whatever was happening happen. I pushed the last of my breath out of my lungs and forced my body to relax, no longer fighting against the pain but leaning into it, accepting it like a friend or a lover. When the agonzing sensations suddenly stopped and I felt myself floating, I slowly opened my eyes. I was drifting weightlessly in an ocean of black nothingness that stretched out infinitely in every direction. Countless small red pinpricks of light appeared all around me and began flowing into me all at once. Images of my clan members flowed into my head unbidden, followed by demons in other clans, and then an endless, dizzying array of demons of every shape, color, and size imaginable. As each image flashed through my mind, I felt small trickles of pleasurable sensation that only built more and more. It didn’t take long before it felt like my body was incredibly overstimulated and teetering on the precipice of an earth-shattering climax, but somehow the feelings only continued to grow more intense. I hovered in that thin divide between toe-curling pleasure and excruciating agony, my eyes closed tightly in an effort to just hang on as best as I could. I felt the edges of my consciousness slipping away, my mind able to take the strain my body was feeling.
“YOU’RE SO CLOSE NOW… IT WON’T BE MUCH LONGER ALLEXUS. JUST A LITTLE MORE UNTIL YOU’RE MINE…”
I wasn’t sure if the voice in my head was a by-product of my mental state or something far more sinister, but all thoughts of it slipped from my memory as I felt every cell in my body ignite all at once. All the calamitous, tumultuous orgasmic agony that had nearly pushed me past the breaking point erupted out of me like a million warheads detonating in sync. All thought, all feeling, my entire existence became nothing but an infinite feedback loop of pleasure building on pleasure. As all the energy that had built up within me forced its way out, it only served to heighten my bliss even more.
When my consciousness finally pulled itself together enough to be somewhat functional, I just allowed the cold dirt beneath me to reassure me that I was very much alive. The sound of crackling flames was accompanied by an intense scent of smoke and dust. I pushed against the metaphorical 10,000 pound weights keeping my eyelids shut and did my best to take in the scene around me from where I was laying.
It took every ounce of effort I had to push myself up into a sitting position, my mouth hanging open at what was around me. I was at the epicenter of a deep crater, bits of charred stone and wood strewn about chaotically the only traces of Gehenna’s castle. If that wasn’t shocking enough, a large portion of the crater led into a much, much deeper one that was dotted with smoldering red flames. The most startling thing wasn’t the size of the crater that had to be at least 1,000 ft in diameter, it was the woman hovering roughly 50 feet above the center of it.
Her pale skin seemed to ripple and dance before my eyes, shifting to deep crimson flames one second then appearing as normal flesh the next. As her gaze locked onto mine, I could see that she looked remarkably similar to Emelia’s new form. Her warm creamlike complexion giving way to literal fire halfway down her arms and legs. Despite being made of red flames, her limbs still managed to maintain their shape. Instead of her long flowing mane of hair, however, she now had short spiky blonde hair in a style that mirrored Em’s. As she drew closer to me, I could see that despite the copious amounts of changes, the majority of the woman I had fallen in love with had remained the same. Her huge excited smile was so wide that it caused small dimples to form on her cheeks. Her grin faltered slightly as she saw the state I was in, however.
“Allie! Hells, are you alright?!”
She drifted towards me rapidly and landed next to me. Her fiery hand reached out towards me and shifted to normal flesh as it touched my face. I leaned in her touch wearily and nodded slowly.
“I think so… I… I don’t know what happened.”
Gehenna turned back towards the enormous crater that used to be the center of her empire and then looked back at me with a sheepish smirk.
“I uh… I sort of exploded… everything. But… what happened to you?! The power coming off of you feels… different.”
I did my best to describe all that I had experienced as Gehenna inspected every inch of me, her eyes growing wider and wider.
“That… that sounds very similar to what happened to me when I absorbed the demonic corruption and I changed from an archangel into a demon. And the images of the different demons… that…”
Her eyes did their best impression of dinner plates as she held up her hand and opened her character screen. She looked at it for a moment before her eyes flicked back to me.
“Open your character menu. Check your stats. I have a theory of what happened.”
I did so and it was my turn to do my impression of a wide-eyed owl.
“Holy shit. H-h-how?! My stats are so fucking high?! How is…”
Realization slapped me in the face as I recalled several things. Before I could put my thoughts into words, Gehenna confirmed the exact thing I had just realized.
“My [Souls of the Damned] and [Empress of the Damned] together grant me a 5% boost to all my stats. After you made adjustments to it, you said your [Bond of Corruption] gives you a boost equal to 25% of each stat your corrupted have. So… you now have 25% of my massively boosted stats, Allexus. Although, I would like to note that my [Empress of the Damned] is now named [Empress Consort of Damnation].”
“That’s awesome! Oh, wait! Did you get a class change like Em did?”
She nodded happily and swiped her hand to turn her screen towards me.
Gehenna - Level 666 Empress Consort of the Eternal Inferno
I smiled as I saw that all of her Black Flame skills had been replaced with Crimson Flame ones. I cocked my head to the side slightly as I considered something. I held up a hand and channeled a small spark of [Corrupting Fire] in my palm. Gehenna held up her hand and allowed it to shift back to its fiery form, and we both grinned widely as we saw that the color was identical.
“You look amazing, Gehenna. I love the red. It fits you so, so well. It matches the color your cheeks get when you blush.”
Her cheeks adopted the hue in question and I laughed softly and moved to embrace her. My entire body still felt like I had been torn apart and glued back together multiple times, and I sighed wearily as my demon lover hugged me back. I looked up into her golden eyes and then up at her much shorter hair.
“It’s going to take me a bit to get used to the new hair. Don’t get me wrong, I like it… but it’s definitely different. Em is gonna love it though.”
I bit my lip as I thought about the two of them standing next to each other, the dichotomy of red fire and blue ice clashing and meshing beautifully. My two stunning lovers, whose very classes were the best foreshadowing of what was to come.
